视觉的盛宴繁华又落寞——电影《鸽翼》（1997）评析

英国著名导演伊恩·索夫特雷执导的电影《鸽翼》（1997）,改编自亨利·詹姆斯的同名小说,借助电影叙事的语言形态和视觉艺术特有的表现手法,将原著中晦涩含混的叙事、繁琐冗长的对白转化成可见的视觉镜头,把文字的传承与影像的变化成功地结合起来,飨观众以视觉盛宴,从而展现人心之微妙,人性之复杂。

“释”是严译《天演论》达旨术最重要的变通策略“增”之一种。“释”的单位有字、词、小句、复句,以词语为多。“释”的方式有释正以俗、释以中例、释略以详、释以背景、释以内涵等。严译的“释”具有释疑解惑、解释原因、具化内容、提供相关知识等功能。     

Evaluation of Attitudes Toward Same-Sex Parenting in the Italian Context: Adaptation of a French Questionnaire

ABSTRACT

This study investigated the psychometric properties of the Italian version of a French scale to detect attitudes toward same-sex parenting. The Italian sample was split into two subsamples. On one, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted to detect the factor structure of the Italian scale, and on the other, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was run to find the data’s best fit model. The scales’ internal consistency was evaluated using Cronbach’s alpha. The questionnaire’s convergent validity was also evaluated. EFA extracted a four-factor solution, in accordance with the original French scale’s validation study. CFA showed that the translated scale had good consistency, similar to that of the original version, showing satisfactory internal consistency for three of four subscales. There will be benefits to further validation studies of the translated scale on the Italian population and it may possibly be innovative and useful in both research and social fields.     

On fatalistic long-term health behavior

Many adults have an overly pessimistic view of old age because they fail to correctly predict their ability to hedonically adapt to old-age health related problems. A standard utility model where the marginal utility of health is higher at a lower level of health predicts that this overly pessimist view raises the incentive for healthy behavior. But this is at odds with empirical research that indicates that people with more negative aging stereotypes tend to adopt less healthy practices, transforming this negative view into a self-fulfilling prophecy. The aim of this note is to show that this fatalistic behavior can be explained through prospect theory by modelling this overly pessimistic view of old age as a failure to predict the change in the reference point due to hedonic adaptation. Given the diminishing sensitivity in the loss domain, people undervalue the future marginal value of health investment and may therefore underinvest in health as long as loss aversion is not too strong.     

中国适应气候变化的法律对策

多年来,为有效应对气候变化,国际社会进行了不懈努力,但一直以来人们对“减缓气候变化”给予了高度关注,却对“适应气候变化”重视不够。直到2007年12月,联合国气候变化大会通过了“巴厘路线图”,才明确将“适应气候变化”与“减缓气候变化”置于同等重要的位置。本文通过对气候变化适应问题的一般分析,在探讨适应、减缓气候变化与可持续发展之间关系的基础上,考察了国际社会适应气候变化的法律对策及进展,以期为我国适应气候变化提供借鉴经验和法律支持。     

广东退休老人社会适应研究

在广东较深刻的社会转型和变迁时期,退休老人社会适应问题更加显现。本文主要利用广州老年人口抽样调查资料和住养老院退休老人的访谈资料,分析评价了退休老人的社会适应状况。研究表明,退休老人社会适应总体状况一般,但不同类别的老人对不同内容层面的适应状况差异较大;应采取多样性的措施提高退休老人的社会适应能力。     

《墨西哥气候变化法》及其对中国气候安全立法的启示

《墨西哥气候变化法》是在特殊的国际、国内立法背景下通过的,是在遵循气候正义、气候公平等法理基础上制定的,有广泛的国际、国内法律基础.该法规定了一系列应对气候变化的原则、规则和相应的实施机制,具有注重“协调与参与”、“透明与责任”制度性设计等特点.中国与墨西哥同为发展中国家,中国在参考和借鉴《墨西哥气候变化法》合理成分的基础上,应采取诸如制定综合性气候变化应对法、加强气候变化应对能力建设、进行减缓性与适应性立法等措施,以应对全球气候变化带来的挑战.
