和谐社会公民政治参与权的法治保障

公民政治参与权是指公民依法享有的由宪法和法律确认,受宪法和法律保障和限制,通过一定方式参与国家政治活动,并影响国家政治构成、决策、进程、结果,而不受他人非法干涉、侵犯和剥夺的权利。我国已形成保障公民政治参与权的法律制度,但也存在一些不足。进一步加强社会主义法治建设,对扩大公民有序政治参与,保障人民当家作主,建设法治国家,构建和谐社会都具有十分重要意义。     

试论邮政储金汇业局的经营活动

1937年对日全面抗战开始后,国民政府主张抗战与建设并重。在金融方面,对政策进行了一系列调整,在战前经济金融政策的基础上,国民政府制定实施了战时金融统制政策,在此过程中邮政储金汇业局的经营发生了深刻变化。作为四联总处下属的“四行二局”之一,邮政储金汇业局在战时的金融体系中占有举足轻重的地位。通过利用中国第二历史档案馆馆藏的邮政储金汇业局、四联总处等机构的资料,重点分析邮政储金汇业局在抗日战争时期的经营活动。这不仅有助于我们了解抗战时期国民政府经济金融政策实施的过程及成效,也可以清楚地认识到邮政储蓄在抗战金融体系中的地位和作用。     

民国时期特种教育在凉山彝区的组织与活动

民国时期,部分彝族子弟求生存和谋发展的愿望被国民党军统组织所利用,他们以招收成都军校学生为幌子,在“乐西公路”筑训班采取貌似自愿报名的公开方式,通过精挑细选和隐瞒真实信息等手段,将不明真相的彝族学员带到重庆,送入国民党中央警官学校特种警察训练班,企图培养具有跨文化能力的地方军政协助人。但受特定时间、空间、文化的影响,军统机构在彝区的组织、活动基本尚未成熟即夭折。梳理和呈现这一史事,能让读者从一个特殊视角了解民国时期所谓“独立倮倮”与汉区,乃至与中国以外的世界之间实际存在千丝万缕,或直接或间接的复杂联系;看到在对于制度的顺从与抗争和身份的认同等方面,彝人个体实际仍有主观能动的余地。由此,提示读者理解中国内地边疆“中间圈”的彝区在现代化进程中之曲折经历,包括当事人的博弈策略及后果。

人类审美活动的层次构成与整体性质——兼论我国当前的美学论争

人类审美活动具有分属为不同层次的双重性质 :既是受生理、心理机能影响的智能性活动 ,属于自然层次 ;又是受社会文化影响的精神性活动 ,属于观念层次。自然层次决定了审美活动不同于其他活动的特殊性质 ,使审美具有着全人类性 ;观念层次决定了审美观及审美价值的具体形态 ,必然受到社会文化状况的影响 ,使审美具有着发展性、社会性。审美活动就是由这两大层次交织而成的整体 ,是以非功利认知方式为智能基础的社会精神性活动。仅仅强调实践的社会性或仅仅强调生命的自然性 ,都不能合理说明审美活动的整体性质     

城市老年人社会活动参与对其健康的影响--基于CHARLS 2011年数据

基于2011年“中国健康与养老追踪调查”全国基线调查数据,研究城市老年人社会活动参与对其健康的影响。研究结果发现社会活动参与对老年人日常生活活动能力、抑郁情绪均有显著影响。社会活动参与越多的老年人,在日常生活活动能力方面表现得越好;抑郁情绪也越少。可见,社会活动参与能有效改善老年人的健康水平。本文的研究结论支持了活动理论的观点,即老年人参与社会活动,可以增进他们的身体和心理健康水平。此外,本文还发现性别、年龄、婚姻状况、医疗保险、吸烟、喝酒等变量均对老年人健康有显著影响。     

Estimation of structural mean breaks for long-memory data sets

In long-memory data sets such as the realized volatilities of financial assets, a sequential test is developed for the detection of structural mean breaks. The long memory, if any, is adjusted by fitting an HAR (heterogeneous autoregressive) model to the data sets and taking the residuals. Our test consists of applying the sequential test of Bai and Perron [Estimating and testing linear models with multiple structural changes. Econometrica. 1998;66:47–78] to the residuals. The large-sample validity of the proposed test is investigated in terms of the consistency of the estimated number of breaks and the asymptotic null distribution of the proposed test. A finite-sample Monte-Carlo experiment reveals that the proposed test tends to produce an unbiased break time estimate, while the usual sequential test of Bai and Perron tends to produce biased break times in the case of long memory. The experiment also reveals that the proposed test has a more stable size than the Bai and Perron test. The proposed test is applied to two realized volatility data sets of the S&P index and the Korea won-US dollar exchange rate for the past 7 years and finds 2 or 3 breaks, while the Bai and Perron test finds 8 or more breaks.     

Bringing ‘invisible’ side activities to light. A case study of rural female entrepreneurs in the Veenkoloniën,the Netherlands

Over the past 20 years, rural areas in Western societies have transformed from a production to a consumption space. Much research on rural diversification and revitalization has focused on farmers and their wives. However, it is useful to examine side activities run by non-farm women which have slowly emerged in the last few years. In view of discussions about rural decline, the value of such activities should be looked at in a new light. Although these activities may not significantly reverse unemployment figures, they have the potential to provide the social and emotional ‘glue’ to motivate a household to remain in declining areas as small-scale economic activities contribute to a better quality of life and a higher level of well-being. In this article we draw on the personal stories of women who undertake side activities in the Veenkoloniën, the Netherlands. We explore the factors that enable these women to start a side activity and the related organizational and emotional struggles they face while running such activities within the perimeter of their home. We further highlight the importance of side activities for the empowerment of women in rural households.     

The Past and Present Cultural Experiences of Adopted Korean American Adults

This study used a mixed-method approach to examine the past and present cultural life experiences of Korean adult adoptees. Open-ended responses across four developmental periods (childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and adulthood) were qualitatively analyzed and categorized into seven categories of cultural activities. We then quantitatively investigated the relationship between these domains and ethnic identity. Ethnic identity was positively correlated with only cultural experiences from young adulthood. The practical relevance of the research findings to adopted adults and adoptive families is discussed.     

构筑精神世界的另一半——鲁迅绘画活动的精神意义

在鲁迅的文化活动中,最重要的两个活动一个是文学,一个则是绘画,或称美术,他的精神世界,也就一半在文字中,一半在画中。在鲁迅的精神世界里,一半内容是理性的,如为人生的精神追求,对文学艺术社会性、批判性、真实性等的追求;一半内容是感性的,如欣赏的追求、娱乐的追求,甚至是半休闲半病态趣味的追求。理性的追求,更多地表现在文学创作中,感性的追求,更多地表现在其绘画活动中。
