本文从语言和社会生活的角度出发，对汉民族和北美的大众宗教信仰进行了初步探索，指出了人类心理中宗教观念存在的普遍性并探讨了宗教文化的发展趋势。

“Ox Hunger”: Psychoanalytic Explorations of Bulimia Nervosa

Bulimia, a term derived from Greek words meaning ox and hunger, is a food obsession characterized by repeated overeating binges followed by purges of forced vomiting, prolonged fasting, or abuse of laxatives, enemas, diuretics and amphetamines. It provides temporary relief to emotional pain. If untreated, bulimia causes serious medical and dental problems. In this paper, I first present an overview of the historical development of bulimia nervosa as a clinical entity and then explore the syndrome from a psychoanalytic perspective, focusing on the Freudian drive-conflict model, the pathology of early object relations, and attachment theory. A case is presented and treatment implications are discussed.     

哈萨克斯坦的宗教现状与宗教政策

独立后,哈萨克斯坦国的宗教状况和政教关系发生了诸多变化,宗教地位在民众社会生活中不断上升,传统宗教(伊斯兰教和东正教)与非传统宗教之间的竞争加大,伊斯兰极端主义对国家安全的破坏日益明显。《宗教活动与宗教团体法》(2011)的出台为规范宗教活动、遏制某些宗教的极端化奠定了基础。宗教政策经历了从宽松到趋紧的过程,族际和睦与宗教和谐政策的政教关系已初步形成,宗教状况的发展趋势将会受到多种因素的影响。     

宗教、邪教与文化的挤占效应分析

从历史经验看,中国古代传统主流文化存在"信仰缺乏症",带有宗教特征的巫文化与主流文化结合,部分地满足了人们的宗教信仰需求,表现出对传统主流文化的占位效应。在当下中国,由于大量具有宗教情结人口的存在,宗教信仰作为一项次好的选择,能够发挥对邪教的文化挤出效应。     

“文人”概念起源考释

"文人"是一个发展性概念,其远源是"士"。在西周到春秋初叶,"文人"指有文德的人。春秋战国之际,"文士"崛起。到东汉时,"文人"等同"文士",指那些有较高文化水平和代表社会道义的知识阶层的成员。     

王夫之《张子正蒙》诠释方法论初探?

与北宋中期以来包括二程、朱熹在内的许多儒家学者的有关看法相比较，王夫之关于《正蒙》的文本观念，是全面的、深刻的，有着一定的独到性、创造性和科学性。正是从这种文本观念出发，王夫之建构起富有创造性的四种诠释方法论：语言诠释方法，体验诠释方法，类推诠释方法，贯通诠释方法。运用这些方法，王夫之务必要在程朱二子之外另辟蹊径，对于张载创立的“真孟子以后所未有也”的哲学理论大力阐发，在新的社会文化条件下予以重建，从而力图推进中国哲学的发展，挽回当世“人心之横流”！     

Introductory Statistics Textbooks and the GAISE Recommendations

The six recommendations made by the Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education (GAISE) committee were first communicated in 2005 and more formally in 2010. In this article, 25 introductory statistics textbooks are examined to assess how well these textbooks have incorporated the three GAISE recommendations most relevant to implementation in textbooks (statistical literacy and thinking; use of real data; stress concepts over procedures). The implementation of another recommendation (using technology) is described but not assessed. In general, most textbooks appear to be adopting the GAISE recommendations reasonably well in both exposition and exercises. The textbooks are particularly adept at using real data, using real data well, and promoting statistical literacy. Textbooks are less adept—but still rated reasonably well, in general—at explaining concepts over procedures and promoting statistical thinking. In contrast, few textbooks have easy-usable glossaries of statistical terms to assist with understanding of statistical language and literacy development. Reaching Isolated Older People

In the second part of a paper reporting a unique single day a week adult day program, the service methodologies developed in the program are described as well as a study of outcomes in four areas: success in reaching the target group, attendance, length of participation, and resolution of psychosocial and health related problems. Outcomes, illustrated by statistical and case material, indicate success in achieving the overall goal of maintenance and enhancement of the participant's life and functioning as a whole. Such a resource is recommended as a vital one for the target population of isolated older people described in the paper.
