The protestant work ethic,human values and attitudes towards taxation

The literature on demographic determinants of attitudes towards taxation was briefly reviewed. Whereas most previous concerned the relationship between such things as income, vote etc. and tax attitudes, this study examined the relationship between Protestant Work Ethic beliefs, social value systems and attitudes toward taxation. It was demonstrated that subjects who strongly endorsed the Protestant Work Ethic were more opposed to taxation than those who did not strongly endorse these beliefs. Further many of the instrumental and terminal value systems of subjects who were pro-taxation were significantly different from those who were anti-taxation. The results are discussed in terms of the psychology of lay-economic beliefs and implications for social change were noted.

MOSFET中1/f噪声的Hooge参数α_H

本文报道 P 沟道 MOSFET 器件中 1/f 噪声 Hooge 参数测量的部分实验结果.由加利福尼亚州的 SILICONIX 公司提供的实验样品是采用同样工艺作在同一块基片之上的.实验表明,在由非谐和状态到谐和状态过渡时,α_H 与沟道长度的平方成正比.类似的结果未曾见报道.     

《离骚》的速度感

屈原《离骚》中的“行进者”形象和其行进中的“速度感”既是屈原生命观的体现,也是其审美意识的体现。诗人用现实形态和神话形态表现出的“行进”过程,再现了他的心路历程。在行进速度上,有着“两快一慢”的特征。“快“与“慢”的区别,真实体现出主人公思想深处情感的变化,这种节奏上的跌宕变化,极大地增添了全诗的艺术效果和悲剧气氛。     

二语习得中的母语负迁移简析

对二语习得的研究表明,母语迁移是影响第二语言习得的重要因素之一。本文通过对英汉两种语言的对比分析,从语音,词汇,语法,文化等诸多方面阐明母语迁移中的负迁移现象对二语习得的影响,并探究了在英语教学过程中如何尽量避免母语负迁移,以使二语习得者的语言能力得到有效提升。     

基于自相关理论的GM(1,1)和GM(1,N)联合预测

通过引入自相关分析，将GM（1，1）与GM（1，N）两者的优点有机结合，运用GM（1，1）预测模型所需的数据量，达到GM（1，N）预测模型所具有的预测精度，减少灰色模型的预测误差。     

“南海一号”与宋代广西北部湾的对外交往

宋代中国南海海上贸易空前繁荣,留给后人的最直接航海物证就是"南海一号"古沉船。在汉代海上丝绸之路开辟与广西北部湾港口形成的基础上,随着宋代南海海上丝绸之路航线的改变,广西北部湾主要以安南等东南亚小国为交往对象,中心港口移至钦州,钦州博易场等地成为主要的贸易场所。"南海一号"发掘地所在的阳江外海面是商船从广州、福建港口经由北部湾到南海各国的经过地,也是广州与钦州间来往商船的经过地。广西北部湾港口特别是钦州港的对外交往是宋朝海外交往繁荣发展的一个缩影。     

Bernoulli Processes with Non-Positive Correlations

We deal with sequences of dependent Bernoulli variables with non positive correlations. Some special models for 1-dependent and 2-dependent 0–1 valued variables are analyzed, namely Bernoulli variables obtained by clipping a linear combination of iid variables. Formulas describing dependence of their correlation function on the clipping parameters are derived. The lower bound for the sum of autocorrelations of Bernoulli variables obtained by clipping a Gaussian process is provided.     

General Multivariate Weibull Processes

Two multivariate stationary processes with general multivariate Weibull marginals are developed and studied. The joint distribution of the two adjacent events in the processes and the distributions of the finite sample minima as well as the geometric minima are derived. The characterization properties of these two processes are also proved.     

On estimating the covariance matrix of robust regression M-estimates

By analyzing a special class of regression problems we point out that previously suggested estimates of the covariance matrix of regression M-cstimatos are inadequate for certain design matrices. These results confirm the conclusions drawn in several Monte Cailo studies.
