江苏省工业碳足迹研究及情景模拟

工业碳足迹是一个复杂的动态的系统, 针对于江苏省工业碳足迹的现状, 利用系统动力学原理, 借助Vensim PLE软件, 建立了江苏省工业碳足迹系统, 把系统分为人口、资源、环境、能源4个子系统, 特别考虑到人均GDP对教育的影响, 通过教育影响技术, 最终影响CO2 排放量。通过历史数据对江苏省工业碳足迹进行仿真, 并从不同经济结构、技术条件、新能源发展情况等角度设置了4种不同的情景, 与原始情景进行比较, 对2005-2020年的工业碳足迹进行分析。从情景模拟结果可以看出:要减少江苏省工业碳足迹, 必须加大力度开发新能源, 调整能源结构, 而技术进步对于工业碳足迹的减少, 效果没有前两者显著。

通过对七年制医学生进行英语阅读自主学习能力方面的研究,针对其学习特点、水平以及调查所反映的问题,开展英语阅读教学实验,发现教师介入对于学生提高英语阅读自主学习能力等方面发挥了显著作用.     

Evaluating Social Integration and Psychological Outcomes for Older Adults Enrolled at a University Intergenerational Program

Abstract

Intergenerational programs are proliferating. The basic assumption of such programs is that pairing older and younger people in various activities and contexts such as educational programs will produce positive developmental benefits for all participants. Educational programs appear to help adults to remain socially active and connected. The University of Valencia (Spain) initiated in 1999–2000 a “University Program for Seniors” for adults age 55 and over, entitled “Nau Gran.”The goal of this paper is to present baseline results on the benefits and impacts for older adults enrolled at the program during 2002. Results from a sample of 212 sophomore and junior older adult participants are presented. The questionnaire included socio-demographic information and items regarding health, social integration, and psychological outcomes. Results indicated that older adults attending courses at the University increased their level of social integration.     

Baseline Characteristics of Dependent Youth Who Have Been Commercially Sexually Exploited: Findings From a Specialized Treatment Program

ABSTRACT

Commercial sexual exploitation of children has emerged as a critical issue within child welfare, but little is currently known about this population or effective treatment approaches to address their unique needs. Children in foster care and runaways are reported to be vulnerable to exploitation because they frequently have unmet needs for family relationships, and they have had inadequate supervision and histories of trauma of which traffickers take advantage. The current article presents data on the demographic characteristics, trauma history, mental and behavioral health needs, physical health needs, and strengths collected on a sample of 87 commercially sexually exploited youth. These youth were served in a specialized treatment program in Miami-Dade County, Florida, for exploited youth involved with the child welfare system. Findings revealed that the youth in this study have high rates of previous sexual abuse (86% of the youth) and other traumatic experiences prior to their exploitation. Youth also exhibited considerable mental and behavioral health needs. Given that few programs emphasize the unique needs of children who have been sexually exploited, recommendations are offered for providing a continuum of specialized housing and treatment services to meet the needs of sexually exploited youth, based on the authors’ experiences working with this population.     

The Clinical Uses of Video Therapy in the Treatment of Childhood Sexual Trauma Survivors

The power of visual images, combined with the increased availability of video taping equipment, has dramatically expanded the use of recorded images in psychotherapy over the past three decades. However, it appears that earlier video feedback techniques may not have fully capitalized on this modality's potential for catalyzing therapeutic change. Further, we have found scant literature on the use of video therapy in the treatment of adult survivors of sexual trauma. Drawing conceptually from a trauma model, as well as from cognitive behavioral and systemic/cybernetic frameworks, this article describes the therapeutic use of video therapy in the treatment of childhood sexual abuse. In video therapy, the patient is directed to independently view video recordings of therapy sessions to help correct cognitive and affective distortions resulting from trauma. How these distortions develop within the context of an incest "family trance" and how they are connected with processes of conditioning and programming are discussed. Further, the use of video therapy for marital therapy, perpetrator confrontations, and addressing suicidal impulses is described. The need for further empirical research is highlighted.

ABSTRACT

Realist evaluation (RE) is increasingly adopted to assess the effectiveness of social programs. RE goes beyond measurement of outcomes, providing insight into how and why programs work by focusing on how participants experience and respond to programs within certain contexts. A RE was conducted on Healthy Start-Départ Santé (HSDS), an early childhood development program in Canada, created to address the prevalence of overweight and obese children. The first step of the RE was to create an initial program theory (IPT) to identify key contexts and mechanisms relating to the success of the program. Realist methodology can be challenging, time consuming, and resource intensive and there are few practical examples of how to conduct a RE. This article aims to add to the realist methodological literature by describing the construction of the IPT, reflecting on the process used, and providing a starting point for future realist practitioners.

The need to "couple," to have that special person with whom we share not only sexual intimacy but a past, present, and future, is not limited to the "straight" world. Raised by heterosexual parents, gays (male homosexuals) desire that same type of intimacy. Given that intimate relationships provide a very necessary function for the larger community of heterosexuals, those relationships should provide the same function for gays. This paper examines the differences and similarities between long-term gay and heterosexual intimate relationships, and the support each of those types of relationships receives from the community in which they exist.     

城市化视域下的农村文化扶贫

从城市化视角出发,对农村文化扶贫工作进行了具体分析,认为农村文化扶贫工作应注重价值观念、思维方式、文化习俗等深层次的文化扶贫.新的经济形态要求要有新的文化形态,因此,农村文化扶贫工作应积极引入与市场经济相适应的文化因子;要充分发挥农民工和乡村文化精英等意见领袖的作用,实现贫困地区的文化变迁;要承古求新,寻求传统农耕文化与现代化的契合点,注重乡村文化重构中的保护和创新,避免现代化进程中“城市病”的发生.     

Optimizing Geriatric Social Work Education: Program and Individual Characteristics That Promote Competencies

Since 1998, the Hartford Partnership Program in Aging Education (HPPAE) has been implemented in over 70 graduate social work programs. This study examined whether program and individual student characteristics are associated with students' knowledge, skills, and values in aging. We conducted a secondary analysis of national program evaluation data. Results from hierarchical linear models indicated greater gains in knowledge of aging among full-time students, as well as students in programs that had defined field rotation models and/or that made greater use of geriatric social work competencies. Implications for efforts to enhance graduate social work education in aging are discussed.
