《考工记》对科技档案的贡献之研究

《考工记》是两千多年前由齐国人编纂的一部手工业科技文献，也是目前中国所见年代最早的有关手工业制造及工艺技术的记述。早在1996年，在齐文化发源地山东淄博召开的“第一届中国科技典籍国际会议”上，学者们就此书的科学价值发表了多篇论文，形成了《考工记》研究的一个高潮。重温这部我国手工业制造编纂史的奠基之作，对指导科技档案工作仍有重要的现实意义。     

Was Cicourel’s critique in Methods and Measurement in Sociology too radical?

This article is a contribution to a mini symposium on the 50th anniversary of the publication of A V Cicourel’s Method and Measurement in Sociology (1964). The central theme of the book is reviewed – the problem of the relationship between everyday language and cultural meanings, and the language of measurement in social research – and the lack of an adequate ontology of social actors is identified as being the cause of the problem. The solution offered by Alfred Schütz – that social scientific language should be derived from everyday language – is discussed and it is argued that this was probably too radical at the time the book was published, and is still generally neglected in the social sciences.

伴随着阶级和国家的产生,关于意识形态的争论从来没有停止过。意识形态之争的表象是话语权、信奉者和影响力、感召力的争夺;意识形态之争的根基源于意识形态的科学性、传播方式和经济基础;意识形态之争的实质归于阶级和国家利益的维护。当前,认清意识形态争论的表象、阐明意识形态争论的根基、揭示意识形态争论的本质对于我国主流意识形态的建设具有重要意义。     

Introductory Statistics Textbooks and the GAISE Recommendations

The six recommendations made by the Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education (GAISE) committee were first communicated in 2005 and more formally in 2010. In this article, 25 introductory statistics textbooks are examined to assess how well these textbooks have incorporated the three GAISE recommendations most relevant to implementation in textbooks (statistical literacy and thinking; use of real data; stress concepts over procedures). The implementation of another recommendation (using technology) is described but not assessed. In general, most textbooks appear to be adopting the GAISE recommendations reasonably well in both exposition and exercises. The textbooks are particularly adept at using real data, using real data well, and promoting statistical literacy. Textbooks are less adept—but still rated reasonably well, in general—at explaining concepts over procedures and promoting statistical thinking. In contrast, few textbooks have easy-usable glossaries of statistical terms to assist with understanding of statistical language and literacy development. 迈尔讨论了生物学自主性的确切内涵,提出生物学是独立于物理学的学科.生物学自主性的渊源是机械论与活力论之间的冲突和争论.通过批评物理主义的本质论、还原论和决定论等错误,迈尔确立了生物学自主论,主张要扩大科学统-的基础.迈尔思想的精神实质是生物学整体论.     

科学霸权主义与人的困境

在西方现代化进程中，科学极大地解放了人的智力和体力，为人的自由发展提供了条件。然而，当科学的权威急剧膨胀变异成科学霸权主义，科学成为奴役人的工具时，却造成了人的困境。我国正处于现代化建设的进程中，需要吸收和借鉴西方科学发展进程中的经验和教训，发展一种厚道的、有机的科学具有重要的现实意义。     

Poverty Research in a Development Policy Context

This article provides an evaluation of the extent to which science is addressing worldwide poverty and hunger. It is based on the literature contained in the Thomson Reuters' Web of Science Citation Index (1980 to 2008) and focuses on the WOTRO Strategy Plan 2007–2010 of the Netherlands Foundation for the Advancement of Tropical Research, although similar policies from other countries might also be assessed. The data show that poverty/hunger research has grown steadily over time in many disciplines, most significantly in Environmental Sciences and Technology. Much of this research is hidden; hence the construction of an internationally recognised open‐access database is recommended so that scientists can easily identify critical gaps related to scientific capacity‐building.     

如何科学地看待国学

对国学应该有一个科学态度,既不能盲目地视之为无瑕美玉,全盘照搬到现代生活中;也不能盲目地视之为全是糟粕,一概拒斥。与建立对国学的科学态度相关,还需要建立对西学的科学态度。只有建立起这两个方面的科学态度,才有益于建设中国特色社会主义的新文化。     

青岛市社科类社团发展状况调研

青岛市社科类社团数量居山东省前列，与全国同类城市基本持平，社团设立具有时代特色，学科建设工作均衡发展。与此同时，青岛市社科类社团在自身和管理方面还存在一些问题，社团自身要逐步建立适应市场经济发展规律的工作和运行机制，加强学习，提高自律水平，不断强化人才队伍建设，引导社科工作者将研究重心转到地方经济社会文化发展上来，注重科研成果与社会联系的密切性和向现实转化的可能性。另外，政府也要进一步加大扶持力度，改善社科类社团发展的外部环境，提供财政支持，提供优惠政策，引导社会行为，出台有利于社科类社团发展的人才政策，细化完善社科类社团的管理制度。
