在中国近代史上,梁启超不仅是思想家、政治活动家,同时也是一位翻译家。通过系统考察梁启超的译介活动,指出他译介西方学术思想,旨在开启民智,服务于政治改良;泽介西方文学作品,旨在表达政见,实现民族救国。他的译介行为鲜明地显露出“以译举政”的价值取向。     

加强高校形势与政策教育的思考

形势与政策教育是高等学校对学生进行思想政治教育、培养学生综合素质的重要内容和有效途径。统筹教育体系、明晰学科定位、改革教学内容、创新教学方法、规范管理体制,是抓好形势与政策教育的重要途径。     

新型农村金融机构监管创新:“目标导向”模式

新一轮增量式农村金融机构改革加快了培育竞争性农村金融市场体系、完善农村金融功能和促进农村金融组织进一步发展与壮大的步伐。随着改革的推行,农村金融的主要矛盾已逐渐由竞争主体不足转向农村金融监管滞后于新型农村金融机构增长的矛盾。因此,农村金融改革的当务之急是加快农村金融机构监管模式创新。认真分析当前新型农村金融机构监管存在的问题,系统提出新型农村金融机构监管模式——“目标导向”监管模式的内涵、目标与原则,从建立统一核算系统,建立信用管理系统,完善法律制度以及改善监管环境等方面创新新型农村金融机构监管模式具有十分重要的现实意义。     

Stress and Adaptation Among Families of Lesbian,Gay, and Bisexual Youth

Abstract

As research has accumulated on gay, lesbian, and bisexual (GLB) youth, more attention is being directed to their families. Research on the families of GLB youth is limited, although several studies have identified parental reactions to learning their offspring is GLB, and others have attempted to discover patterns of responses within families. Some problems with current research on the families of GLB youth are identified. A human development model is described which can help direct future research efforts.

江西省高校国家级特色专业建设当前存在的问题是立项建设特色专业建设点偏少,占总立项建设特色专业建设点的百分比偏低等问题。针对这些问题,可以采取利用江西省的优势资源、利用协同创新、创造良好的人才发展环境、通过培育新兴、交叉与综合学科以及通过精品课程和精品教材建设等对策来培育江西省高校国家级特色专业。     

Using Relationship Education Programs with Same-Sex Couples: A Preliminary Evaluation of Program Utility and Needed Modifications

Same-sex couples represent a group likely to benefit from relationship education, given the many unique challenges they face. However, it is unclear whether existing programs, predominantly designed for married heterosexual couples, are appropriate for use with same-sex couples. In this article we highlight the need for quality relationship education programs for same-sex couples and review the literature to identify unique needs of same-sex couples that may not be met by existing programs. We then describe a small survey of couple therapists and researchers conducted to provide preliminary information about whether same-sex couples are perceived to benefit from existing relationship education programs and whether modifications to program content are needed. Twenty respondents indicated that a core set of relationship education components were useful when working with same-sex couples, although the presentation of these components generally required modifications to remove heterosexist bias and to improve applicability to same-sex couples. In addition, several novel program foci were suggested (e.g., stigma management). Implications for the design and delivery of relationship education to same-sex couples are discussed.     

Identity status differences among Italian adolescents: Associations with time perspective

Based on Marcia's identity status model, this cross-sectional study examined adolescents' identity formation analyzing its association with time perspective. A sample of 1300 Italian adolescents filled in self-report measures assessing two major developmental processes: identity resolution and time perspective. Adolescents who achieved an integrated identity status seemed to primarily adopt a future time perspective and to have a positive view of the past. By contrast, Diffused adolescents reported negative experiences in the past, a lower future orientation and a greater inclination to fatalism compared to others.     

Media orientation of German university decision makers and the executive influence of public relations

This study investigated the executive influence of public relations managers in the German higher education system. The study is based on a whole-population survey of German university decision makers (N = 1619). It provides evidence that the mediatization of German higher education offers an important opportunity for the empowerment of university PR departments. They can benefit from the New Public Management reforms in recent years as power shifts to management-oriented administrators and the public image of universities turns into a competitive asset. Nevertheless, an indispensable precondition for PR departments’ organizational advancement resides in professionalization. PR workers need to claim a status of expert boundary spanners between their universities and the public stakeholders.     

Fear,Shame, and Health Promotion

Abstract

Drinking games are associated with excess alcohol use and alcohol-related problems, yet it is unclear whether they are unique to the college environment or whether students come to college familiar with such games. The authors queried 1,252 students attending voluntary summer orientation programs about their experiences with drinking games. A majority (63%) indicated they had played drinking games and viewed them as a means to get drunk quickly and to socialize, control others, or get someone else drunk. Logistic regression analyses revealed that familiarity with drinking situations was associated with a greater likelihood of playing drinking games. Students who reported drinking more frequently and consuming greater quantities of alcohol than others, having lifetime marijuana use, and initiating alcohol consumption between the ages of 14 and 16 years were significantly more likely to have participated in drinking games. These findings demonstrate the importance of considering students' participation in drinking games when campus officials address alcohol use.
