如何看待当今马克思主义哲学的典籍研究

无论是就哲学体系 ,还是就其框架下的主导概念、范畴和问题而言 ,当前哲学界对马克思文本、典籍的发掘堪称中国特色马克思主义哲学建设的一个时代象征。学者们以典籍为基点 ,进而拓展到对马克思主义哲学的内在本质、基本内容、核心精神和在中国的发展的探索 ,并最终把阐释典籍文本的当代意义落实为终极关怀 ,这昭示了当代哲人对历史、对学术的客观精神的追求和对哲学智慧的向往     

Time‐change models for asymmetric processes

Many records in environmental sciences exhibit asymmetric trajectories. The physical mechanisms behind these records may lead for example to sample paths with different characteristics at high and low levels (up–down asymmetries) or in the ascending and descending phases leading to time irreversibility (front–back asymmetries). Such features are important for many applications, and there is a need for simple and tractable models that can reproduce them. In this paper, we explore original time‐change models where the clock is a stochastic process that depends on the observed trajectory. The ergodicity of the proposed model is established under general conditions, and this result is used to develop nonparametric estimation procedures based on the joint distribution of the process and its derivative. The methodology is illustrated on meteorological and oceanographic data sets. We show that, combined with a marginal transformation, the proposed methodology is able to reproduce important characteristics of the data set such as marginal distributions, up‐crossing intensity, and up–down and front–back asymmetries.     

On MLEs of the parameters of a modified Weibull distribution based on record values

The modified Weibull distribution can be used quite effectively to model complex data from mechanical engineering or survival analysis studies that posses a monotonic or a bathtub-shape hazard rate. In this paper, we study the MLEs of the parameters of a modified Weibull distribution model in the presence of upper kth record values. The existence and uniqueness of the MLEs are proven in this case. Real data analysis is performed for illustrative purposes.     

Will You Die for Your Country? Workplace Death in an Era of Mass Incarceration

People with criminal records in the United States continue to face limited employment opportunities due to social stigma and legal barriers. In contrast to the civilian sector, the military conducts a “whole person” evaluation to screen potential recruits and regularly hires people with felony and misdemeanor records. Moreover, evidence suggests that the military serves as a socially integrative institution and may facilitate desistance from future crimes. However, critics argue that the military exacerbates inequalities by subjecting marginalized communities to the unequal burden of service. Using the data obtained from the Army, we examine the relative risks of combat exposure and casualties between enlisted soldiers with and without criminal records who joined between 2002 and 2009. The results suggest that soldiers with felony and misdemeanor records are more likely to be assigned to combat occupations than those without criminal records. We also find that among soldiers assigned to positions with low combat exposure, ex-offenders face a higher risk of death compared to those without criminal records. Findings do not dispute the idea that the military facilitates desistance from future crimes and provides second chances to people with criminal records, but reaffirm the fact that military service costs lives and limbs.     

汉唐“风土记”中的西域风土映像——兼论华夷文化观在汉唐时期的转变

汉唐时期,由于中外文化交流的兴盛,涌现出诸如《高僧法显西行记》、《佛国记》、《奉使高丽记》、《大唐西域记》等大量僧俗士人的西域行纪。这些著作的作者,以亲身的见闻和阅历,记载了大量的异域见闻,对于向中原人介绍异域风俗,促进西域文化在中原地区的传播,起了重要的作用。借助这种生动的西域风土映像,中原士人传统的华夷文化观念也发生了微调,变得更为开放,对西域文化也更易于理解、认知和接受。     

论我国法定继承制度的完善

我国《继承法》规定的法定继承制度,内容简单且不够全面。《继承法》应以我国《民法典》的制订为历史契机进行修订和补充,扩大法定继承人范围,增加法定继承顺序,强化配偶继承权的法律保护,完善代位继承制度等,以进一步完善我国的法定继承制度,并为《民法典》的制订打好基础。     

严格法定资本制:我国政策性担保公司资本制度的最佳选择

不同的资本制度对实现公司资本价值创造功能和债务担保功能的侧重点并不一致,法定资本制更有利于资本债务担保功能的实现.为保护债权人利益,政策性担保公司资本的债务担保功能需要得到强化,因此政策性担保公司应选择法定资本制,并在最低资本限额、资本形态限制、资本构成安排、出资时间安排等方面作出严格规定.     

Confidence and prediction intervals based on interpolated records

In several statistical problems, nonparametric confidence intervals for population quantiles can be constructed and their coverage probabilities can be computed exactly, but cannot in general be rendered equal to a pre-determined level. The same difficulty arises for coverage probabilities of nonparametric prediction intervals for future observations. One solution to this difficulty is to interpolate between intervals which have the closest coverage probability from above and below to the pre-determined level. In this paper, confidence intervals for population quantiles are constructed based on interpolated upper and lower records. Subsequently, prediction intervals are obtained for future upper records based on interpolated upper records. Additionally, we derive upper bounds for the coverage error of these confidence and prediction intervals. Finally, our results are applied to some real data sets. Also, a comparison via a simulation study is done with similar classical intervals obtained before.     

唐代壁记研究

壁记属于"记"体文的一种,辞尚体要,文主典雅,以散体为主,兼有骈句,以其载体为名。壁记多书写在台省、州县的厅等办公场所,具有开放性、连续性的特点。作壁记或为劝善戒恶,或为自我儆诫,或为下情上达。研究壁记,对于研究古代散文的传播及古代官制、官职都有一定的意义。     

Random coefficients regression models. a review 1

A review is given of random regression coefficients models. The emphasis is put on the problem of estimating the mean regression coefficients and the covariance matrix of the coefficients. Prediction of the individual random coefficients is not discussed. The main purpose of the review is to point to the practical aspects of the models and the problem of statistical inference in finite samples. Some problems for future research are indicated.
