Dimensions of Job Quality,Mechanisms, and Subjective Well‐Being in the United States

How does job quality predict subjective well‐being in the United States? Prior research suggests that various job quality dimensions such as job security and individual task discretion affect subjective well‐being, but the theoretical mechanisms are implied rather than tested and aspects of job quality are rarely tested together. I use structural equation modeling and General Social Survey data to assess the impact of five job quality dimensions—individual task discretion, monetary compensation, job security, low work intensity, and safe work conditions—on subjective well‐being. Then, I show that job quality influences subjective well‐being by improving social life, altering class identification, affecting physical health, and increasing amounts of leisure time. Finally, while I find that job quality dimensions do have statistically significant effects on subjective well‐being, the way in which job quality affects subjective well‐being differs by job dimension. In other words, job quality has a statistically significant impact on subjective well‐being, but different job quality domains are connected to subjective well‐being in different ways.

农户电商创业意愿实证研究——基于技术接受、感知风险与主观经验

农村电商对精准扶贫、乡村振兴实现具有重大作用。选取山东省农村电商典型地区为调研对象,结合技术接受模型与感知风险理论,采用结构方程模型与层次回归实证检验520位微观农户数据,探究农户电商创业意愿在技术接受、感知风险与主观经验间逻辑及传导机制。结果显示:技术接受中感知易用性和感知有用性正向影响农户电商创业态度与创业意愿;感知有用性总体效应最为显著,主观经验显著调节感知有用性对创业意愿影响,高经验组与低经验组存在明显差异;感知风险负面影响农户电商创业意愿,主观经验弱化感知风险对创业意愿抑制效应。基于此,提出短期针对性和长期战略性相结合,强化基础设施建设,不断优化农村电商支持与监管,推进人才培养及品牌建设等政策建议。     

略论专利间接侵权及主观要件

在实际生活中,专利间接侵权屡屡发生,而专利间接侵权在我国现行立法中还是空白,所以法院在处理此类案件时,只能依照我国民事基本法的原则来处理,这是远远不能适用新时期知识产权保护的需要的。因此,应借鉴国外专利保护的经验,完善我国的专利权保护机制,对各类间接侵权的构成要件要分别进行规定,明确间接侵权成立的条件,从而最大程度地保护专利权人的合法权益。

《纯粹理性批判》中两版先验演绎之比较

《纯粹理性批判》第一版的先验演绎分为主观演绎和客观演绎,第二版则通过两个相关的证明来进行,即范畴的客观有效性证明和客观实在性证明。比较起来,第一版也包括两个不同的证明,此外,虽然康德在第二版中删除了主观演绎,但并没有删除主观演绎要解决的范畴和直观的结合问题,这说明主观演绎是服务于范畴的客观实在性证明的。因此,两版的先验演绎本质上并没有什么不同。

Race-Related Correlates of Young Adults' Subjective Well-Being

We investigated how often young adults worry about race relationsand whether they perceive that white/black relations have beendeteriorating. We also explored the relationships betweenrace-related worry and pessimism, and subjective well-being. This study addressed the distribution of race-related worry andpessimism, and their relationship to subjective well-being innational probability samples of high school seniors completingself-administered questionnaires in 1996 and 1997 (n = 4,514). Nearly one-third of high school seniors often worry about racerelations, and about 20% perceive that contemporary white/blackrelations have been getting at least a little worse. Worryingoften about race relations and perceiving that race relationshave been getting worse were significantly associated withdiminished levels of life satisfaction and happiness. Theresults confirm that race-related worry and pessimism werecommon, and that they impact youth's affective and cognitivestates.     

Making the Best of a Bad Situation: Satisfaction in the Slums of Calcutta

Eighty three people in the slums of Calcutta,India were interviewed, and responded toseveral measures of subjective well-being. Therespondents came from one of three groups:Those living in slum housing, sex workers(prostitutes) residing in brothels, andhomeless individuals living on the streets.They responded to questions about lifesatisfaction and satisfaction with various lifedomains, as well as to a memory recall measureof good and bad events in their lives. Whilethe mean rating of general life satisfactionwas slightly negative, the mean ratings ofsatisfaction with specific domains werepositive. The conclusion is that the slumdwellers of Calcutta generally experience alower sense of life satisfaction than moreaffluent comparison groups, but are moresatisfied than one might expect. This could bedue, in part, to the strong emphasis on socialrelationships and the satisfaction derived fromthem.
