章怀太子墓壁画《仪卫图》与“画圣”吴道子

章怀太子墓室壁画是唐人物画中的最具代表性作品之一。特别是《仪卫图》的绘画风格和绘画技法,有"吴带当风"独特性。笔者认为,有很多历史线索和证据都在向我们表明,该作品的作者很有可能就是我国唐朝最著名的"画圣"吴道子。

A class of distribution-free tests for two-way layout

In this article a class of distribution-free tests for the hypothesis of no row (treatment) effect in a two-way layout design, with several observations per cell, is proposed. The tests are based on U-statistics, constructed by considering minima of all possible subsamples of same size from each cell.The proposed class of tests is compared with the parametric test, Mack and Skillings test and Yate's test for two-way layout, in terms of Pitman ARE sense. It is seen that for the case of equal number of observations per cell, the proposed tests have better efficiency for exponential and uniform error distributions.     

Promoting Children's Welfare by Inter‐professional Practice and Learning in Social Work and Primary Care

Social work in the United Kingdom is an activity that benefits from, and often requires, co‐operation between different staff and across different professions. How this is to be achieved has been a central dilemma for practice and policy for many years. Primary care health services often play a key role. New policy and practice developments are designed to promote inter‐professional working with children, where research has shown significant problems in the community‐based health care of looked after children, children leaving care, and children at serious risk. There is, however, little evidence from research that supports current developments in inter‐professional practice; analysis of the particular nature of the inter‐professional problems is lacking, as are therefore the relevant inter‐professional solutions. A framework for better analysis, linked to developments in practice‐based research, one that would yield significant improvements for children's welfare, is presented here.     

The weighted jackknife for ratio estimation

Using the idea of impirical influence function, Hinkley (1977), the weighted jackknife technique is extended to ratio estimation. A weighted jackknife variance estimator for the ratio estimator is developed. Using the prediction theory approach, the properties of the weighted jackknifed variance estimator are examined. The implications of the failures of regression model on the behaviour of the weighted jackknifed variance estimator, for ratio estimation, are also studied.

《新蒙古》月刊是面对日本侵略、民族危难，蒙、汉学人于1933年“百灵庙大会”之后，筹备创办的月刊杂志，宗旨是：剖析蒙古问题之实情，介绍国内外对于蒙古问题之研究，宣达中央处理蒙政之方案，揭露帝国主义侵略蒙古之真相，促成汉蒙民族之团结，以共致力于解放运动。《新蒙古》月刊以刊登有关内蒙古问题的文章为主，间或也刊载了不少与外蒙古相关的文章，这些文章是研究20世纪二三十年代外蒙古问题的重要史料。     

由日本动漫在中国的兴盛引发的思考

随着现代传媒技术的发展,动漫作为一种新兴的产业文化正日益蓬勃地发展。日本动漫以其制作精良、形象生动的特点占据了中国大部分的动漫市场,吸引了众多的青少年,而借助动漫,日本文化也在潜移默化中灌输给了青少年。文章试图分析日本动漫在中国的传播现状以及对中国的影响,从而提出面对日本动漫的冲击,中国动漫界应对的措施。     

Maximal Invariant and Weakly Equivariant Estimators

Equivariant functions can be useful for constructing of maximal invariant statistic. In this article, we discuss construction of maximal invariants based on a given weakly equivariant function under some additional conditions. The theory easily extends to the case of two or more weakly equivariant functions. Also, we derive a maximal invariant statistic when the group contains a sharply transitive and a characteristic subgroup. Finally, we consider the independence of invariant and weakly equivariant functions under some special conditions.     

The power functions of the likelihood ratio tests for a simply ordered trend in normal means

Likelihood ratio tests for the homogeneity of k normal means with the alternative restricted by an increasing trend are considered as well as the likelihood ratio tests of the null hypothesis that the means satisfy the trend. While the work is primarily a survey of results concerning the power functions of these tests, the extensions of some results to the case of not necessarily equal sample sizes are presented. For the case of known or unknown population variances, exact expressions are given for the power functions for k=3,4, and approximations are discussed for larger k. The topics of consistency, bias and monotonicity of the power functions are included. Also, Bartholomew's conjectures concerning minimal and maximal powers are investigated, with results of a new numerical study given.     

论作为文学文化学的“西安学”

＂西安学＂从理论上说是一个学科集群。但中外城市学研究经验及成果表明,城市学主要是一种文学文化学,目标在于构建城市精神镜像。作为文学文化学的西安学应以城市的精神体验为主要方式构建城市镜像知识。其方法有直观体验城市和通过文学体验城市两种。本雅明对19世纪巴黎的研究及李欧梵对20世纪三四十年代上海的研究为文学体验提供了范例,西安学应以此为借鉴拓展其研究视界。
