Much of the existing scholarly works portray institutional voids (IVs) in emerging economies as impeding forces against the development of new ventures. However, little attention has been paid to how such voids generate positive outcomes in emerging market new ventures. Drawing on the institutional theory, we propose IVs as crucial enablers of new venture internationalization. In addition, we investigate both how and when IVs enhance the degree to which new ventures internationalize by examining international learning effort (ILE) as a mediator and two domestic market environmental factors (i.e., environmental dynamism and competitive intensity) as important contingencies. We test our moderated mediation model using primary data gathered from 211 new ventures from Ghana. We found that ILE mediates the relationship between IVs and new venture internationalization and that both environmental dynamism and competitive intensity moderate the indirect relationship between home-country IVs and new venture internationalization. We discuss the theoretical and practical implications of this study. 相似文献

文章将房价对企业创新水平的影响归结为"成本效应"及"投资效应"两种影响机制,并分析了房地产价格、房产性投资行为、房产性投资的深化以及企业技术创新产出之间的关系。文章的创新之处在于,将创新要素投入和创新管理水平作为中介变量,从理论和实证两方面检验房价和创新产出的关系。基于提出的理论观点利用A股上市公司数据,对研究假设进行了实证研究,得到如下结论:房价对企业技术创新水平的影响机制至少是通过"成本效应"与"投资效应"两条渠道实现的;房价对企业技术创新水平的"成本效应"是通过技术创新投入作为中介对技术创新成果产生影响;房价对企业技术创新水平的"投资效应"是通过技术创新管理水平作为中介对技术创新成果产生影响;未能证实房产性投资会挤压上市公司技术创新投入。文章的研究结论具有以下重要政策启示意义:应当重视房地产价格对企业技术创新产出的"成本效应"。在新旧动能转换的背景下,创新人才的稀缺性提高了其在劳动力市场的议价能力,作为生活必需品的房屋价格上涨,会导致创新人才的劳动力价格随之上涨,这势必加大企业技术创新投入的负担,影响企业的转型升级和长期发展质量;A股企业的房地产投资并未挤压技术创新投入,但降低了企业创新的效率。在政策上,应当制定相关技术创新效率的考察指标,促进骨干型企业重视其创新效率的提升。 相似文献

针对消费者对转换成本和价格属性具有显著性偏好的实际情况,基于显著性理论对垄断双边平台企业的转换成本和定价策略问题进行了研究。研究发现:1)在显著性偏好非对称型市场上,对价格敏感的一方收取的价格最低,对高转换成本的一方收取的价格最高,而在显著性偏好对称型市场上,平台的最优价格位于非对称型市场之间,但是对价格敏感型市场收取的价格低于转换成本敏感型市场的价格。2)在高转换成本的市场,平台利润最低;低转换成本市场平台利润最高,而混合型情况的最优利润位于这两者之间。该研究结论说明平台企业应该采取措施来降低用户加入平台的转换成本,从而增加利润,这与现实的案例研究结论相吻合。 相似文献

Compared to the remarkable progress in risk analysis of normal accidents, the risk analysis of major accidents has not been so well‐established, partly due to the complexity of such accidents and partly due to low probabilities involved. The issue of low probabilities normally arises from the scarcity of major accidents’ relevant data since such accidents are few and far between. In this work, knowing that major accidents are frequently preceded by accident precursors, a novel precursor‐based methodology has been developed for likelihood modeling of major accidents in critical infrastructures based on a unique combination of accident precursor data, information theory, and approximate reasoning. For this purpose, we have introduced an innovative application of information analysis to identify the most informative near accident of a major accident. The observed data of the near accident were then used to establish predictive scenarios to foresee the occurrence of the major accident. We verified the methodology using offshore blowouts in the Gulf of Mexico, and then demonstrated its application to dam breaches in the United Sates. 相似文献

汉语网络语言影响藏生汉语习得的情感,影响藏生汉语习得中“可理解的语言输入”的数量和质量,影响藏生对汉语社会文化的适应和趋同程度。这些影响主要与汉语网络语言使用失范、内地藏生汉语习得与汉语网络环境脱节、汉藏文化障碍影响汉语网络语言的推介等因素相关。据此,文章从二语习得的角度提出解决对策:培养藏生对汉语网络语言的价值观和情感;引导和规范汉语网络语言,优化网络环境;寻求藏生汉语习得与网络社会生活的契合点,提高“可理解的语言输入”的数量和质量。 相似文献

Recent studies have paid more attention to how position-generated social capital varies by an individual’s characteristics, and less to how geographical distributions of occupations may constrain position-specific connections. By integrating two national surveys from the United States, we differentiate the extent to which individual social capital fluctuates by occupational compositions at the county, metropolis, and state levels. Multilevel analyses show that when more people at all three levels work in education, training, and library occupations, residents have a greater chance to gain access to professional-type resources. Similar spatial effects on farming and production resources, however, are more apparent at the county level. Not only does the association between individual social capital and local occupational structures vary across different occupations, but the magnitude of such spatial effects also differs by the scope of the geographical areas. The findings underscore how contextual factors and geographical location may contribute to building occupation-specific network resources. 相似文献

Social capital in the workplace has been found to be associated with employee wellbeing and work engagement. Yet, evidence of effects of interventions to enhance the social capital are lacking. The intervention mapping method has been described as a useful tool for developing workplace interventions but it is very resource consuming. We aimed to develop an adapted version of the intervention mapping method which is more practically feasible to apply. To get insight into strengths and weaknesses of the adapted method, we applied it and conducted interviews with staff at six companies. The interviews revealed that the action plans developed using the adapted intervention mapping method were generally perceived as relevant and that the action plans had a positive effect on the social capital. However, the implementation of the action plans had been a challenge. In conclusion, the adapted intervention mapping method appears to be suitable for developing interventions to enhance the social capital in the workplace. However, more attention to the implementation of the action plans needs to be incorporated into the method. Suggestions to enhance the implementation included the involvement of the management in the implementation and monitoring of the implementation of the action plans as well as integrating the action plans into existing procedures in the workplace. 相似文献

From the Digital Divide to the Connectivity Dividend Difference: A Connectivity Capital Perspective*
The access divide was once the basic form of the digital divide. The development of Internet infrastructure has narrowed the access divide and increased application coverage, but it has also touched off a connectivity dividend difference. Taking the online market as an example, we examine the sources of the dividend difference and the factors influencing it with in a connectivity framework. We found that the narrowing of the access divide has resulted in enhanced connectivity and platform development, giving people the chance to benefit from transforming the various assets in which they have previously invested into differentiated compound connectivity capital. In the course, the scale and rate of the conversion are affected by two multiplier effects and especially by online platforms. The process is ultimately expressed in the dividend difference. 相似文献
