论民国武侠小说中的宗教人物形象

佛道文化向来是武侠小说的重要资源，民国时期的社会转型语境中，武侠作家对宗教亦有借鉴，塑造出不少佛道人物形象。就审美意蕴而言，宗教人物形象传达了宗教思想，同时对儒家德性、民间伦理、现代观念等有所兼容；从艺术性来看，宗教人物形象除少数较有立体感外，其余多具有扁平化、符号化、模式化等特征。从文学史视角来看，该形象群总体多保守，有承前启后的作用。

巴金20世纪40年代以前的小说,常常在价值取向和艺术思维两方面呈现出漠视女性主体性的男性中心意识。在天使型受难女性的形象塑造中,巴金赞美盲目从夫、泯灭女性主体意识的封建妇德;在圣女型革命女性的形象塑造中,巴金把女性抽象化为男性精神拯救过程中没有女性生命实感的革命符码、性别符码。巴金前期小说中的男性中心意识,暴露出了中国现代启蒙文学、革命文学在性别观念上现代性不足的致命缺陷。《寒夜》等后期小说中,巴金克服了这一缺陷。

丁玲的女性文学创作带有鲜明的复合性特点亦女性亦人性,亦个人亦社会,"女性文本"与"政治文本"相互交织、相互包容或并行不悖--这正体现了我们民族文化语境下女性文学的独特之处.     

Trends in long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) use,LARC use predictors,and dual-method use among a national sample of college women

Objective: Assess long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) and other contraceptive use trends, identify LARC use predictors, and examine dual method use. Participants: Women in the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment (ACHA-NCHA) II, aged 18–24 years, who reported having vaginal sex (N = 37,899). Methods: Secondary analyses of Fall 2011–2014 ACHA-NCHA II data. Results: Statistically significant increases in LARC usage and, specifically, implant usage, were found. Characteristics associated with LARC use included age, race/ethnicity, relationship status, and school type. Students reporting LARC use had lower odds of condom usage compared with non-LARC hormonal method users. Conclusion: This analysis of LARC predictors and dual LARC/condom use has implications for research and health promotion efforts. Findings suggest that college health services are well positioned to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of diverse populations of students. College health professionals should elicit students' individual and/or relationship priorities to tailor messaging/services offered for pregnancy/STI prevention.     

Survivors' pensions and their impact on the Brazilian labour market

In many countries the regulations governing survivors' pensions were established in periods when female labour market participation was lower than at present. However, the current trend in many Latin American countries is for growing levels of female labour participation. In Brazil, where there are no restrictions on the concurrent receipt of retirement and survivors' pensions, and where until recently lifelong pensions could be obtained without any conditionality, not only has the accumulation of such benefits grown, but there are indications that these rules have had a negative impact on women's labour market participation. Analysis of the case of Brazil shows the need for social security regulations to adapt to labour market changes, and underlines the need to acknowledge that social security regulations can actually have an impact on the labour market.     

The right tool for the job: problems and solutions in visualizing sociological theory

The visualization of social theory is an important part of the development and communication of our theoretical ideas. While most theorists use figures of some kind, few if any have formal training, or guiding rules or principles for the representation of theory. This has often led to poor visualization efforts, and the visual culture of sociology continues to lag behind the natural sciences. The intent of this paper is to serve as a practical and empirically aided guide for social theorists, by providing insights surrounding the cognitive and perceptual properties of certain elements and figures. Through these properties we identify four major problems in theory visualization: vagueness, reduction, unwanted spatial inferences and unwanted metaphorical inferences. We offer solutions to these problems, and to improving theory visualization more generally. Our hope is that this paper will serve as a resource for more thoughtful and informed visualization for practicing social theorists.     

小屏传播时代少数民族女性新形象研究 ——以"浪漫侗家七仙女"为例

现代传播活动构建了公众对不同群体的“符号化”认识,就少数民族女性而言,不同的传播方式和时代会对其“生成”不一样的公众形象。在当前这个全新的小屏传播时代,短视频网红ID“浪漫侗家七仙女”使侗家女性获得了较大的话语权,使她们有可能成为传播主导者,其形象构建更真实、更加符号化,显示出较强的“带货”能力,但也因出于“流量”的考量,“侗家七仙女”的传播呈现较强的表演性质。其网红、年轻漂亮、家乡代言人及现代女性等形象特征使少数民族女性在传播中的主体地位大为增强,但由于小屏传播的局限、男性审美的主导及表演性、碎片化呈现等方面的局限,小屏传播时代少数民族女性形象与其真实的状态还是有一定的偏差。     

论新加坡人民行动党群众基础的构建

新加坡人民行动党执政以后注意扩大自己的群众基础,加强少数种族、青年和妇女工作,赢得了绝大多数选民的支持,在历次大选中能轻易问鼎,不战而胜,从而为其执政提供了合法性依据,进而巩固了自己的执政地位。人民行动党执政以后,致力于少数民族政治参与机制的构建;进入20世纪90年代以后,鉴于青年越来越在新加坡社会中发挥作用,把其中的优秀人才吸收进人民行动党中来;在世纪之交,人民行动党面对日益涌动的民主浪潮和执政合法性的挑战,日益加强妇女工作,按照人民行动党的标准塑造他们的思想。
