巴克《重生》的救赎主题

《重生》是当代英国女作家巴克1991年出版的第一部战争题材小说,描写传统文化意识形态中的战争规约对人造成的压抑,探讨人如何摆脱精神困境的重生之途。战争规约中对男子汉精神的期许和战争正义性的期许给参战军人带来了巨大的精神压力,从而造成＂弹震症＂的发生。小说通过里弗斯医生的治疗过程强调了个人的本真意识,即＂回忆性意识＂,并通过重建个人叙事形成与上述传统意识的对话,进而突破人们意识中传统价值观的牢笼,认清战争与人性对立的本质,重新获得精神的救赎。     

Voices of Healing and Recovery from Childhood Sexual Abuse

Child sexual abuse continues to occur for a significant number of children, often having deleterious consequences for survivors’ physical and mental health. Research has thoroughly explored various consequences as a result of child sexual abuse, but scholars and practitioners know less about the healing processes from survivors’ viewpoints. Using a constructivist grounded theory design, this study examined perceptions of healing in 10 female survivors of child sexual abuse. Results conclude with a theoretical model of healing, capturing the significance of supportive relationships, internal characteristics, turning points, and sources of active healing. Important sources of active healing include therapy, informal and formal education, compassion and empathy, blame attribution to abusers, and confronting abusers. Limitations and implications for research and practice are discussed.

日本经济泡沫崩溃后,逐渐迷失自我的日本人希望通过平稳、安定的方式治愈心灵,逐渐产生了“治愈”文化。近年来,该文化形成了文学、影视、动漫等全方位的产业体系——“治愈系”。动漫作为该文化的载体更是首当其冲。《千与千寻》作为“治愈系”动漫的代表作充分体现了“治愈系”产业温暖人心、净化心灵的特点,也体现了日本文化中自然崇拜、言灵信仰、无常观和集团主义等文化内涵。     

Working with Narratives

ABSTRACT

This article will discuss healing across cultures and describe narrative practice as a means of access to coping strategies in African American folk beliefs and traditional healing practices. Four elements were found in empirical research on folk healing among African Americans: spirituality, ritual, the power of words, and dreams. These culture-specific healing elements often emerge as themes in personal narratives about coping in response to stress, crisis, and trauma. Viewing healing elements as themes is a useful framework for construing meanings from clients' experiences of stress, trauma, and crisis and coping strategies embedded in folk beliefs and traditional healing practices.

Additionally, the author presents a structured interview questionnaire for identifying folk healing themes, illustrates narrative practice as an approach for integrating folk beliefs and healing practices, and discusses implications for clinical training.     

Stemming the Tide of Trauma Systemically: The Role of Family Therapy

The initial section of this article describes the frequency with which people are exposed to various forms of traumatic stressors and the limitations of linear thinking in both assessing and treating the consequences of traumatic exposure as reported by the Institute of Medicine. The middle section of the article identifies the research and theory that supports the utility of systemic thinking and action in working with traumatised systems, especially families. The final section includes an outline of a protocol for family therapists and other systems‐informed practices to help traumatised families and other systems. A critical part of the protocol is that it meets the standards of trauma‐informed practice reflected by the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) guidelines, and the six criteria for evaluating treatment approaches. These criteria include do no harm, exposure titration control, reciprocal inhibition tuning, quantity and quantity of training, fit and fidelity and evidence of effectiveness.

酒在中西方文学中有诸多功用,可用于祭祀、礼仪,可消愁,能给人以勇气,能治疗某些疾病,能用作一种武器,能给诗人以灵感.但是过量饮酒既有害于身体又会误事,酒与色有密切的关系,酒还是一种麻醉品.由于酒有许多害处,从古到今都有政府颁布法令禁酒.从中英文学作品中找到一些实例,就这一文化现象进行比较研究,对于认识酒在文学中的作用特别有意义.     

转型期残疾人社会支持的实践模式研究

文章在于建构一个残疾人社会支持的实施模式,以分析残疾人社会支持网的特征,拓展社会支持的相关专题性研究。基于"人在情景中"的社会工作核心概念,残疾人社会支持的实施模式的设计应该关注三个系统、回答三个问题:"为谁"、"是什么"与"如何做"。

我国新时期小说创作从"伤痕"小说到"反思"小说的历程,清楚地阐释了创作主体的阅历、知识、思想,尤其是思维能力与审美意识,在文学创作活动中起着"烛照"作用,作品的主题是创作主体思想意识的外化.

This paper explores the multiple expressions of Central American immigrant Pentecostalism in the Pico Union district of Los Angeles. Drawing on in-depth ethnographic fieldwork in three temples and informal conversations with over 30 active Pentecostals, this paper shows that Central American immigrant Pentecostals tend to congregate on the basis of “congregational homophily,” or shared social and cultural characteristics, especially in terms of age, marital status, presence of infirmities or ailments, and national/regional origin. This paper also explores the ways in which Central American immigrant Pentecostals tailor their religious practices to reflect their “congregational homophily” through the differential inclusion/exclusion of practices such as healing, “roommating,” and formal and informal discussions of shared histories. By focusing on “congregational homophily” and the active constructions and reconstructions of Central American immigrant Pentecostalism, we gain more insight into the ways some Central American immigrants negotiate their lives and experiences in the increasingly fettered social, cultural, and political topography of contemporary Los Angeles.

刑事和解:人本主义的对话型和解

缘起于上世纪70年代的西方刑事和解实践,以恢复性正义为理论基础,对话、商谈而非纠纷解决模式是刑事和解区别于传统和解制度的重要程序特征;实体上,强调以责任、恢复与回归作为其基本内容,关注对被害人心理损害的修复。近年来我国一些司法机关对恢复性司法进行的探索严格说来还称不上是真正的恢复性正义实践,因此,准确领会刑事和解的理论基础、程序特征和实体内容,对我国当下急速推进的刑事和解实践进行冷思考,对避免将刑事和解庸俗化,甚至变为一种功利的手段具有重要意义。
