The rise of the Far Right is a global phenomenon traditionally viewed as antithetical to feminism. However, in Australia from 1996–2001 Far Right politics was dominated by a woman, Pauline Hanson, thus calling into question the dynamics between organized feminism and the Far Right. A significant problem for Australian feminists trying to understand Hanson is that her ideology, activities and life-style are internally contradictory. This article draws on American analyses of similar women and examines the contradictions in Hanson's political philosophy and activism with a view to challenging current Australian feminist analysis of this controversial political woman. 相似文献

Escalating commitment to a course of action that is failing or incurring great costs is at least as prevalent in group decision making as in individual decisions. The first experiment studies factors influencing escalating commitment in groups in the context of social identity and dissonance theory. 36 3-person-groups had to decide about further investigations into a risky urban development project. The amount of investigations as an indicator of escalating commitment depended as well on social identity (strong vs. weak) as on the responsibility for initiating the project (high vs. low). The second study investigated the effectiveness of two interventions aimed at reducing escalating commitment: introduction of an advocatus diaboli and pre-information about psychological insights into escalating commitment. The following article describes the first empirical study of the effectiveness of Introvision as a pedagogical – psychological intervention for tinnitus. Introvision is based on the theory of subjective imperatives and the theory of mental introference. The intention was to ceace dysfunctional automatical selfregulation- strategies. Studies of the past have shown that dysfunctional selfregulation- strategies are a cause of increased subjective strain of tinnitus. The following pilot study, accomplished within a bigger project was conducted with 13 elder persons suffering from light to moderate tinnitus in a six-week-intervention with Introvision. Comparison to a control group without intervention showed a significant reduction of the tinnitus in the introvision group (STI, p ≤0.022). At the same time the audiometrically measured hearing ability of the Introvisiongroup increased significantly compared to the controlgroup (p≤0.001) while a decrease of the subjective loudness of the tinnitus could be only partially ascertained. 相似文献

A discrepancy between the explicit theories of organizational consulting and consulting in practice has to be assumed. This paper analyzes the difference between front stage and back stage in organizational consulting. Therefore the idealtyps of organizational consulting are reconstructed and put in contrast with actual consulting behaviour (on the basis of 48 interviews with consultants). As a result three thesis can be stated: Based on the clients’ expectations a divergence between the idealtyps and the consulting practice has been identified, which leads to convergence in the consulting practice (convergence thesis). For systemic consulting (in German: Systemische Organisationsberatung) this divergence is as significant and vast (value transfer thesis) that it doesn’t seem justifiable to take it as an independent approach on organizational consulting (three realtyps thesis). 相似文献

The introduction of staff appraisal interviews in Austrian Universities This paper addresses the issue of the obligatory introduction of staff appraisal interviews in the Austrian higher education system after the implementation the law ?UG 2002“ (University Law 2002). It focuses on the cultural change process from the old university management system to a nowadays prevalent ?management by objectives“. After the introduction of the ?UG 2002“ Austrian Universities are forced to be more competitive with one another, hence an academic market is opened. Ultimately this leads to a cultural break. This is the reason why we discuss the possibilities and limitations of the implementation of appraisal interviews and target agreements from different angles. 公共利益的引入使财产权具有了社会性,它为公用征收权力的存在和运行提供了坚实的理论基础,并使之成为一项普遍的宪法制度和政治实践。财产权神圣观念的丧失并不意味着可以对财产权任意地施加限制与剥夺,只是在承袭近代财产权保障制度合理内核的前提下,征收补偿制度的建立才具有了客观依据。事关公共利益与私人利益价值判断的做出只有建立在对二者公平衡量的基础上,方能真正保障公民的财产权等基本权利。行政补偿制度的建立就是该大背景下的关键一环。 相似文献

Group supervision with carers — an empirical case studyGroup supervision with carers serves in expanding the attention range in the everyday working routine recapitulating action and endurance. In the reported endurance processes relevant aspects are made visible for care work by means of systematic observation. Through this, clarity in command and purpose emerges. As a consequence, problems may be localised more easily, hypotheses are raised and plans put into action. This sets off processes of change among all those supervised. Everyone picks out the creativity impulses significant for himself from the case historics for his own work as new intervention possibilitics. Therefore, over-focussing and paralysis are avoided and/or already existing ones corrected. Group supervision thus enables full use of spontaneity and creativity potential for everyone. It prevents burn-out just as much as indicating development of professional identity for the carers. 相似文献
