Some tests for the power series distibutions in one parameter using the kullback-leibler information measure

The purpose of the article is, in case of one sample, to obtain tests concerning the parameter in the power series distribution in one parameter using Ku11back-Leibier information measure. The class of power series distibutions contains a host of discrete distributions. Ve illustrate the general results obtained in case of the geometric distibution.     

A Comparison of Spanish and American Housing Policy Frameworks Addressing Housing for the Elderly

Abstract

Housing policies in Spain and die United States have important similarities and dissimilarities mat affect housing for the elderly. Spain, even more so than me United States, promotes homeownership. Bom countries face significant challenges in addressing the housing needs of the elderly, particularly those challenges associated wim aging in place. The paper reviews me broader housing policy frameworks in bom countries in order to understand me context for elderly housing policy. The paper identifies lessons from the American experience mat can expand housing policies in Spain.     

Effective eProcurement implementation process

As eProcurement is gaining popularity in business practice, researchers as well as practitioners have addressed the need of defining a proper eProcurement implementation strategy. This article aims to build an eProcurement implementation framework, which considers the main variables that have an impact on the eProcurement success and the links among them. The goal is to identify the main decisions that companies should take during the three principal phases of the eProcurement adoption (pre-implementation; implementation and post-implementation). Six case studies at different levels of eProcurement adoption have been used to identify the peculiarities of each phase of the process and to provide contingent guidelines.     

广西边远地区农村教育资源闲置问题实证研究——以百色为例

教育资源闲置是教育资源完全或部分没有发挥教育功能的状态,具有绝对闲置和相对闲置两种含义。文章以百色农村教育资源为例,分析了广西边远地区农村教育资源闲置在小学和初中两个层面的表现,并分析了造成广西边远地区农村教育资源闲置的原因;文章认为,提高广西边远地区农村经济发展水平、拓宽融资渠道、优化教育资源配置、灵活撤并教学点、改变闲置校舍的用途以及合理解决代课教师问题是解决广西边远地区农村教育资源闲置问题的可能途径。     

Maternal Autonomy- and Connectedness-oriented Parenting Behaviors as Predictors of Children's Social Behaviors in China

The purpose of the study was to examine the contributions of maternal encouragement of autonomy and maternal encouragement of connectedness to the prediction of children's social behaviors. A sample of children (N  =  94), initially aged two years, and their mothers in China participated in the two-year longitudinal study. Child autonomy and connectedness and maternal goal-oriented behaviors were assessed at two years of age through the observation of mother–child interactions. Data on children's social participation, prosocial behavior, aggression, and organization/leadership in peer interactions were collected in a follow-up study when the children were four years of age. It was found that maternal encouragement of connectedness significantly predicted children's sociability and organization/leadership behavior, especially for children who were relatively high on autonomy. The results indicated the developmental significance of socialization goal-oriented behaviors in cultural context.     

有限理性指导下的过渡性制度构建——社会转型背景下侦查程序完善的整体设想

目前理论界对侦查程序的研究理性化色彩过重，学者们多对不同的刑事诉讼模式进行静态比较，得出何种模式相对优劣的结论，从而进行制度构建。这虽然有利于目标模式的选择，但不利于具有可操作性的制度设计。本文从我国社会转型时期的宏观背景出发，以这一特定时期所存在的对侦查机关完成打击犯罪和保障人权双重使命有重大影响的因素为切入点，进行系统审视，提出有限理性的理念，并以此为指导进行过渡性制度设计。

青岛市社科类社团发展状况调研

青岛市社科类社团数量居山东省前列，与全国同类城市基本持平，社团设立具有时代特色，学科建设工作均衡发展。与此同时，青岛市社科类社团在自身和管理方面还存在一些问题，社团自身要逐步建立适应市场经济发展规律的工作和运行机制，加强学习，提高自律水平，不断强化人才队伍建设，引导社科工作者将研究重心转到地方经济社会文化发展上来，注重科研成果与社会联系的密切性和向现实转化的可能性。另外，政府也要进一步加大扶持力度，改善社科类社团发展的外部环境，提供财政支持，提供优惠政策，引导社会行为，出台有利于社科类社团发展的人才政策，细化完善社科类社团的管理制度。     

亚里士多德的谬误理论及其方法论蕴思

亚里士多德关于谬误的理论主要载于《工具论》的《辩谬篇》和《前分析篇》中,另外在《修辞学》一书中也有阐述。在《辩谬篇》中,亚里士多德从分析反驳入手对谬误做了定义和界分。《前分析篇》中所体现的特点正是要以明确谬误研究中的逻辑因素。作为逻辑应用理论的现代谬误理论,它的产生和发展表明它不是来和现代形式逻辑竞争的,更不是用来反形式逻辑的,而是作为形式逻辑的一个补充,在不同的研究领域发挥不同的作用。     

《铁路法》第58条与《民法通则》第123条的冲突与适用

《中华人民共和国铁路法》第58条与《中华人民共和国民法通则》第123条存在冲突。从厘清“基本法律”与基本法律以外的“其他法律”的位阶问题、铁路交通事故中对弱势群体利益的保护以及企业社会责任等角度考量,《民法通则》第123条应当优先适用。
