英语语言测试回顾及改革思考

语言测试是英语教学的一个重要环节,是评价教学质量的一个重要手段。纵观历史,语言测试经过了分立式语言测试、综合式语言测试和交际性语言测试三个发展阶段。我国英语测试存在的问题是片面理解测试的作用和测试方法不够科学。因此,教师应该了解语言测试的真实目的,改革考试题型,提高试卷的信度和效度。     

Still Searching for Excellence? International Accounting and the World's Most Outstanding Companies

This paper measures the effect of accounting policy choices in the context of Davis, Flanders and Star's (DFS) (1991) league table of the world's most outstanding companies. Our study is an investigation of the robustness of the research underlying Kay (1993). The sensitivity of the rankings to the three major conventions that are used in calculating added value are examined: depreciation policy, the estimation of the cost of capital inputs and consistency of international generally accepted accounting principles. The key finding is that the degree of disruption caused by international accounting differences is likely to be the most material. It is equivalent, in this study, to a 60% increase in the cost of capital or an 80% change in the depreciation lives of fixed assets. After adjusting towards consistent international accounting, we now find that four Japanese companies appear in the top ten. Before adjustment there were none.     

简论民事诉讼证人适格制度

在民事诉讼中，如何确定证人资格是一个值得关注的问题。中国民事诉讼法对这一问题的规定较为粗疏，从而导致在司法实践中法官难以把握判断证人资格的标准。而证人资格的判断标准不统一将使法律适用的标准不统一，进而使审判的公正性遭受怀疑。为此应在借鉴国外相关立法的基础上，对我国民事诉讼证人适格制度中存在的问题提出有针对性的解决方案。

Development and validation of biomarker classifiers for treatment selection

Many syndromes traditionally viewed as individual diseases are heterogeneous in molecular pathogenesis and treatment responsiveness. This often leads to the conduct of large clinical trials to identify small average treatment benefits for heterogeneous groups of patients. Drugs that demonstrate effectiveness in such trials may subsequently be used broadly, resulting in ineffective treatment of many patients. New genomic and proteomic technologies provide powerful tools for the selection of patients likely to benefit from a therapeutic without unacceptable adverse events. In spite of the large literature on developing predictive biomarkers, there is considerable confusion about the development and validation of biomarker-based diagnostic classifiers for treatment selection. In this paper we attempt to clarify some of these issues and to provide guidance on the design of clinical trials for evaluating the clinical utility and robustness of pharmacogenomic classifiers.

本文基于界壳理论构建了电信企业多重竞争力界壳模型,通过对该模型的定量分析,能够确定电信企业竞争力界壳的开放度和交换率,企业就可以据此制定出具有较强针对性的竞争力发展策略,提高电信企业决策的科学性。
