正确对待古代爱国主义思想三论

作者从古代中国是统一多民族国家的新视角出发,就正确对待古代爱国主义思想问题,做出了新的理论探索。本文认为孔子提出的"天下"观,解决了古代爱国主义思想的外在形式;孟子创立的"民本"观,回答了古代爱国主义思想的核心内容;董仲舒概括的"《春秋》大一统"的统一观,成为维护国家统一和民族团结的巨大精神力量。

The Economic Efficiency of Sampling Size: The Case of Beef Trim

The economically optimal sample size in a food safety test balances the marginal costs and marginal benefits of increasing the sample size. We provide a method for selecting the sample size when testing beef trim for Escherichia coli O157:H7 that equates the averted costs of recalls and health damages from contaminated meats sold to consumers with the increased costs of testing while allowing for uncertainty about the underlying prevalence rates of contamination. Using simulations, we show that, in most cases, the optimal sample size is larger than the current sample size of 60 and, in some cases, it exceeds 120. Moreover, lots with a lower prevalence rate have a higher expected damage because contamination is more difficult to detect. Our simulations indicate that these lots have a higher optimal sampling rate.

Does trust increase willingness to pay higher taxes to help the needy?

The article studies the causal effect of trust on the willingness to pay higher taxes to help the needy in a sample of 29 countries of Eastern and Southern Europe, and the former Soviet Union and Mongolia. It is hypothesized that interpersonal trust leads to a greater willingness to pay taxes to help the needy since (i) trust increases the likelihood of helping strangers; (ii) trust fosters solidarity and cooperation when working to solve common problems in society; and (iii) trust reduces suspicion with respect to the perceived misuse of redistributed money. Three key findings are that the more people trust each other, the more they are ready to support the welfare state; the effect of trust on welfare state support holds even in a contextual environment characterized by rather lower levels of trust and relatively underdeveloped systems of redistribution; and higher individual‐level trust fosters tax morale and helps deter tax evasion.

In this article we review the major areas of remote sensing in the Russian literature for the period 1976 to 1985 that use statistical methods to analyze the observed data. For each of the areas, the problems that have been studied and the statistical techniques that have been used are briefly described     

El afecto producido por la comparación social y su influencia sobre el burnout

Resumen

El objetivo del presente trabajo es estudiar la relación entre el afecto producido por el uso de la comparación social y el burnout. Para ello se ha contado con una muestra de 357 soldados profesionales de las Fuerzas Armadas Españolas. Se ha utilizado la versión española de la escala de “Identificación y Contraste” de van der Zee, Buunk, Sanderman, Botke y van der Bergh (2000). Esta escala consta de cuatro dimensiones que evalúan el afecto positivo y negativo ante la comparación social ascendente y descendente. También se usa el MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory; Schaufeli, Leiter, Maslach y Jackson, 1996).

Se han realizado diferentes ecuaciones de regresión jerárquica para probar la influencia de las cuatro dimensiones del afecto producido por comparación social, del conflicto y la ambigüedad de rol y sus interacciones sobre el burnout. Los resultados muestran, que los afectos tanto positivos como negativos que surgen de la comparación social ascendente predicen el cinismo y el agotamiento emocional, mientras que, en la predicción de la reducción de la eficacia profesional, resultan significativas las cuatro dimensiones del afecto. También se encuentran interacciones significativas, entre las dimensiones de la comparación social y la claridad de rol, en la predicción de las tres dimensiones de burnout.     

La democracia a examen: creencias,actitudes y valores en el cooperativismo de trabajo asociado de Andalucía

Resumen

El fenómeno de la cooperación responde a una concepción holística del proceso productivo. Por ello, la calidad del sistema democrático de una organización cooperativa va a depender de la dinámica psicosocial y económica establecida. Entre esos condicionantes internos y externos a la cooperación, que actuarán determinando la forma, contenido y extensión de la participación, nos encontramos con la cultura organizacionaly las características psicosociales propias de los cooperativistas. En este estudio contrastamos, precisamente, la incidencia de estas variables sobre el sistema de participación de una muestra de cooperativas andaluzas de trabajo asociado.     

Estudio de la identidad social urbana en un barrio de nueva creación. El caso de la Villa Olímpica de Barcelona

Resumen

El artículo se centra en el papel de los entornosfísicos en la configuración de la identidad social en personas y grupos. Se revisa la literatura existente incidiendo especialmente en los conceptos de identidad social urbana y espacio simbólico urbano, aplicándose estos conceptos al análisis del surgimiento de identidad social entre los habitantes de la Villa Olímpica de Barcelona. Los datos de un cuestionario administrado a 295 personas del barrio permiten constatar una identificación con el barrio fundamentada en una imagen preconfigurada de la zona más que en un proceso de construcción socialpropia de una identidad de barrio. La corta historia, la composición social, el tipo de estructura y paisaje urbano y los mecanismos de apropiación espacial como precursores de identidad estructuran las conclusiones del estudio.
