加快工程实践基地建设培养新世纪高素质人才

文章提出合肥工业大学工业培训中心的办学理念,介绍了软硬件及师资队伍建设的方案,阐述了以现代大工程为背景进行的教学内容、教学方法和教学手段的改革,以培养学生成为具备工程意识、责任感和创新思维的新世纪高素质人才.     

An evaluation of stakeholder capacity in the implementation of millenium village primary school meal project

The paper focused on evaluation of stakeholder capacity to implement the millennium village primary school meal project in Kenya. The study which was anchored on the stakeholder theory as well as the Context Input Process Product (CIPP) model of evaluation used mixed methods research design with ex-post facto and case study as its two research elements. The mixed methods was adopted because when both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used in a single study, the strengths of both produce a research synergy in which the collective benefits are greater than what is obtained from either approach when used alone. A sample size of 186 participants was selected from seven (7) primary schools using stratified random sampling. The participants selected purposively included pupils, teachers, head teachers, parents, Area Education Officer (AEO) and project staff. Data was collected using questionnaires, face to face interview guide, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and document analysis guide. The study findings indicated that the project was implemented with great success as indicated by stakeholders’ capacity to understand project objectives, their involvement in project planning and implementation and their positive attitude towards the project. This has contribute to poverty reduction in the community through the project and sustainable approaches for project implementation.     

Building Virtual Age-Friendly Communities in Minecraft

A key theme of Age-Friendly Honolulu’s initiative is intergenerational exchange. The initiative believes that youth need to be aware of aging issues, demographic change, and think critically about the potential impact on their lives. The goal of the Age-Friendly Honolulu Youth Engagement Initiative is to teach youth about the role of the built environment and community features in promoting active aging and engagement among older adults. This article describes a new program in the field that teaches youth and older adults to assess the built environment and then use design thinking and Minecraft (a popular video game in which players use 3-D blocks to create virtual lands) to develop and envision ideas to improve the livability of their neighborhood.     

新形势下加强高校教师队伍建设的对策

文章在分析当前我国高校教师队伍建设面临的形势和挑战的基础上,对进一步加强高校教师队伍建设、提高教师队伍素质提出了以下对策:优化教师队伍结构,建立充满生机与活力的用人机制,拓宽教师的来源渠道,构建现代教师继续教育体系,加强师德建设和学术规范建设以及推进高校的对外合作与交流.     

当前高校学生党支部建设中存在的问题与对策

高校学生党支部是在高校党委领导下的基层党组织,担负着党在高校直接联系大学生,把党的路线、方针、政策落实到大学生群体中的重要职责,我校在开展学生党建工作时积极创新学生党支部工作模式,积累了一些经验,但也存在一些亟需解决的问题。对此应继续加强党支部组织建设,强化各支部委员职责意识;建立健全各项制度,加大党员的继续教育力度;强化大学生思想政治教育工作,端正学生入党动机;重视网络党建工作,拓展党建阵地,发挥网络服务党员的作用。     

略论民初孙中山的党德重构思想

孙中山从民初巩固党基与民主共和等方面阐述了党德重构的必要性和重要性 ,“修明党德”需要党员“明白党义” ,“遵守党德”、“服从命令”与“国家” ,立志“做大事” ,努力“替众人来服务”、“为中华民国求幸福”。而政党严格纪律 ,党员加强道德修养提高辨别是非能力是达此目的的必要途径。这一党德重构成为孙中山道德思想的核心 ,决定其道德思想高于近代大众道德的精英化倾向 ,是中国近代政党建设的宝贵精神财富 ,至今仍值得珍视     

网络负面问题及伦理思考

网络文明的到来给人类的政治、经济、文化教育、社会生活方式等带来了深刻的变化,同时也带来了诸如信息欺诈、黄色泛滥、信息安全受损、网民人格异化等网络负面问题.产生网络负面问题的伦理根源是网络自身的特点弱化了传统伦理的约束力;网络空间的道德冲突使网民陷入道德相对主义之中;网络法律和道德建设的滞后使网络负面问题有可乘之机;网民自我宣泄和自我表现的心理要求促使了网络负面问题的形成.加强网络法制建设、整合传统伦理资源、扬弃西方网络伦理理论、强化网民的内在道德自觉,是消除网络负面行为的有效途径.     

“建筑构造”课程的教学与改革思考

“建筑构造”课程教学应采取多样化的教学手段,把培养学生创新能力放在重要的教学地位,同时,加大建筑构造课程与实验室教学相结合的力度,整合建筑构造课程与建筑设计课,并把建筑构造课程与施工实习融合在一起,以达到培养建筑综合素质型人才的教育目的。     

浅议独立学院的学风建设

高校学风状况直接关系到学校的生存和发展。独立学院由于其自身特点,学风建设需引起高度重视。本文通过对独立学院学风现状的分析,强调了独立学院学风建设的必要性和紧迫性。学校和国家教育行政部门应给予一定的政策倾斜,独立学院本身要从端正教风入手,加强对学生的思想教育,强化学风建设意识。独立学院的学风重在建设,贵在坚持。
