女性学学科化建设和发展的基础：女性教育

在妇女学学科建设的过程中，非学科化的女性教育的作用不容忽视。以女性群体需求和观点为主体的社区和国家水平的女性教育，为女性学学科化建设提供了适用性较强的科学信息。在一定的条件下，非学科化的女性教育必然会过渡为学科化的教育体系。欧美国家在两者间的协调发展和转化过程中，形成了被较为广泛接受的体系和规范，但都没有超越女性教育的基本目标和范畴。中国目前的女性教育实践尚缺乏充分的支持条件和社会氛围，导致女性学科化发展的滞后。目前，应该充分利用现有女性研究和女性教育资源，为女性学科建设和发展奠定坚持的基础。     

Mixture models in measurement error problems, with reference to epidemiological studies

Summary. The paper focuses on a Bayesian treatment of measurement error problems and on the question of the specification of the prior distribution of the unknown covariates. It presents a flexible semiparametric model for this distribution based on a mixture of normal distributions with an unknown number of components. Implementation of this prior model as part of a full Bayesian analysis of measurement error problems is described in classical set-ups that are encountered in epidemiological studies: logistic regression between unknown covariates and outcome, with a normal or log-normal error model and a validation group. The feasibility of this combined model is tested and its performance is demonstrated in a simulation study that includes an assessment of the influence of misspecification of the prior distribution of the unknown covariates and a comparison with the semiparametric maximum likelihood method of Roeder, Carroll and Lindsay. Finally, the methodology is illustrated on a data set on coronary heart disease and cholesterol levels in blood.

Ethnic validity: A model for families on uncharted seas

This paper provides an ethnic validity framework as a model for conceptualizing and understanding the lives of ethnic minority families and the individuals in them. It outlines the ecological context of minorities (nonculture- defining groups) in a culture defined and dominated by a culture- defining group majority. Cross- ethnic/racial and cross- cultural studies organized around themes of acculturation and psychosocial competence are cited to substantiate the utility of this model. Their findings also provide a basis for outlining individual, family, and societal intervention approaches which can facilitate each group's ethnic validity and lead to a culturally diverse society which is more equitable for all of its members.

古“县”新考——与唐德刚教授商榷

唐德刚先生《晚清七十年》对“县”的性质、建制的说法值得商榷,从文字学与政治两方面结合古代礼制提出新的考证,对古代“县”的建制的产生演化及在西周和春秋战国时期侯国间的同与不同进行历史的考辨,证明唐德刚先生以“悬而未决”论说“县”,十分不当。同时为县之起源,立一新说。
