对高校思想政治理论课教学的思考

高校思想政治理论课教学是对大学生进行思想政治教育的主渠道,是帮助大学生坚定理想信念,树立正确的世界观、人生观和价值观的重要途径,对于大学生的成长成才具有重要的作用。     

雪莱《钦契》的文类及文类政治研究

《钦契》是雪莱的一部取材于意大利真实历史事件的诗体悲剧,它在雪莱文学生涯中占有重要地位。遗憾的是国内很少有人关注它的价值,而国外这些年的研究多从戏剧艺术与人物、互文性、社会历史、宗教、伦理学、心理学、女性主义角度进行。本文另辟蹊径,采取文类研究方法,从文类政治角度对《钦契》进行研究,力图证明它是一部哥特式文学作品,进而说明作者充分利用这种文类的潜在的功能表达政治主题,实现对传统哥特文学的超越。     

Whose Heartland?: The politics of place in a rural–urban interface

This article advances a conceptualization of the rural–urban interface that is centred on a historically and spatially informed politics of place situated within local–global connections. The research is a case study of an inter-municipal development plan called Alberta's Industrial Heartland. Located near the City of Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada, the study area has been characterized by tremendous social, cultural, and economic shifts over the past century, from agriculture, to country residential in-migration, to intensive industrial development in response to the increasing importance of Alberta on the global energy market. A series of interviews conducted with residents, political officials, and other stakeholders documents how parallel, yet contested definitions of the ‘Heartland’ underpinned a ‘politics of place’ over land use change at the rural–urban interface.     

Women in national legislatures

This study tests macrostructural theories of gender stratification by examining women's representation in national legislatures. Political structural variables are combined with the variables suggested by the propositions of Janet Chafetz and Rae Blumberg. Both developed and developing nations are represented in the data set of 73 countries. The most important finding for theory is that women's rate of labor force participation is a powerful predictor of women's political status.A version of this paper was presented at the meetings of the American Sociological Association in Pittsburg, PA, August 1992.     

试论"贞观之治"的特质

唐朝贞观君臣吸取隋朝灭王的教训,推行"仁政德治"的国策,使贞观时期政治清明、经济发展、刑法宽平、秩序井然,成为历史上有名的冶世.贞观统治集团行"王道"、倡"民本"本质上是在儒家思想指导下建立理想社会的政治实践,把握住这一精神实质,也就会透过历史表象洞悉贞观冶世的全貌和特质.     

加强农科院校学生思想政治教育的思考

本文根据农科院校大学生的思想素质特点以及当代思想政治教育所面临的新形势和新任务,认为加强思想政治教育应从全员育人意识着手,充分发挥“两课”主阵地、主渠道作用,以邓小平理论“三进”工作为中心、以全面推进素质教育为目标,加强思想政治教育的科学性、针对性和实效性。     

邓小平民主政治思想的基本特性

邓小平把民主政治建设作为我国社会主义建设的重要手段,是其治国策略的重要组成部分,是对马克思列宁主义民主政治理论的重要发展.邓小平在建设社会主义民主政治的实践中积累了丰富的经验,其民主政治思想具有鲜明的特性,主要表现在民主的主导性、民主的包容性、民主的集中性、民主的法制性、民主的监督性等五个方面.     

FROM MEDIA POLITICS TO E-PROTEST

New forms of political expression are often taken as further evidence of the 'cultural turn' within contemporary societies. Taking two recent cases - the use of popular culture in the election campaigns of British political parties (and particularly the Labour Party) and the so-called 'Carnival Against Capital' of June 18th 1999 - this article argues for caution in assuming that such cultural modi vivendi necessarily require culturalist forms of explanation and analysis. Weargue that both established political parties and extra-parliamentary social movements have found new opportunities for political communication and mobilization through media and information technology (particularly the Internet). However, the resource and organizational problems they confront remain the same, as does the familiar instrumental rationality of their actions. Rather than leading us to abandon established analytical tools such as political intermediation, political opportunity structures or resource mobilization, shifting opportunities and conditions require the adaptation and extension of such concepts. In this spirit, we attempt to offer an analysis of the cultural mode adopted by parties and movements without losing sight of their broader goals and motivations.     

台湾“日本情结”的形成及其对两岸关系的影响

日据时期日本对台湾疯狂的文化侵略是日本情结形成和膨胀 的根源,蒋介石本人的日本情结又在一定程度上助长了台湾的日本情结,现今台湾当局所谓 的“新台湾文化”的重建及李登辉本人浓重的亲日情结进一步促成了日本情结的膨胀,日本 情结的膨胀对两岸关系有着深刻的影响。     

刘坤一与晚清政局述论

刘坤一任封疆大吏几达四十年,其显赫的晚年官宦生涯,直接影响晚清政局清廷的朝政大计,帝后两党的暗斗明争,皇位的建储废立,都与他有着直接的关系.其后还俨然而为诸侯长,领袖东南督抚,倡导互保,倡举新政,议采西法,引起了其后的官制改革和立宪风潮.
