《画皮》的传播与意义转换

从文学传播角度看，《画皮》从清代妻妾对比意味，到20世纪善恶斗争主题，再到2008年陈嘉上浪漫传奇式演绎，经历了相对完整的传播流程，其意义也相应发生着转换。那么对《画皮》的主旨以及现代电影改编中所发生的意义转换，应从文学传播角度做动态理解。这样才能避免从本质主义思路对《画皮》的电影形态强加社会批判使命，从而正确处理文学作品与电影改编之间的关系。     

HORIZONTAL CUTS & VERTICAL PENETRATION: THE 'FLESH AND BLOOD' OF IMAGE FABRICATION IN THE OPERATING THEATRES OF INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

In my essay, I analyse surgical and radiological practices of how the blood flow is being explored, rendered visible and treated. For this I use material of my ethnographic research, which I conducted in the operating theatres of interventional radiology at the University Clinic of Radiology/General Hospital in Vienna. I am particularly interested in notions of invasiveness and how they are permanently transformed in this clinical area. Continual inventions of new technologies in surgery as well as in radiology lead necessarily to a decomposing of what terms like invasive, minimal- and non-invasive mean. However, the meanings of invasiveness for patients and radiological personnel are shifting – this notion is crucial – because it marks a cultural and epistemic turn in medicine, which is already far advanced. In the operating theatres of interventional radiology, surgical and digital imaging proceedings melt into one another and transform the integrity of the patient' body through particular ways of staging and through a specific choreography between the physicians' hands and eyes.     

《驴皮记》与《改邪归正的梅莫特》中的欲望叙事

《驴皮记》和《改邪归正的梅莫特》没有直接的情节联系。这两篇小说内在的关联在于共同探讨了人在欲望面前的各种因境：《驴皮记》揭示的是人离不开欲望,但生命和欲望却又成反比;《改邪归正的梅莫特》进一步深化了欲望问题,那就是即使欲望的实现不需要以生命为代价,无限度的欲望依然可怕,因为它将把人带入无尽的空虚。     

从《画皮》看封建社会女性的命运悲剧

在中国男权封建社会中,由于受三纲五常、三从四德等封建伦理道德的束缚,女性不仅丧失了自由,而且失去了尊严。文言小说《画皮》刻画了画皮与陈氏两位性格迥异的女性形象。虽然她们的经历遭遇不同,对待世事的方式各异,却共同体现了在封建社会作为女性的悲哀,由小说《画皮》也可见男权与女权的斗争。     

氮化硅薄膜热性能测试研究

提出了一种可以测试氮化硅薄膜热导、热容的方法。该方法采用微机械加工技术制作成悬空结构,利用Pt薄膜来做加热与测温电阻。设计了合理的测试方案来减小测试过程中Pt薄膜附加热导、热容带来的影响。用Matlab模拟了结构的热响应特性。在Pt薄膜中通入直流电流后,桥面温度逐渐升高,最终达到稳定,在相同的电流输入下,微桥的热容、热导越大,桥面的温升越小。讨论了无效加热电阻和微结构加工工艺对测试精度的影响,并给出了提高测试精确度的方法。     

试析华语恐怖电影之中的男权意识形态话语——从新《画皮》说起

2008年陈嘉上导演的电影新《画皮》中隐藏着男权意识形态话语的痕迹,既塑造了符合男权意识形态的刻板化女性形象,又巧妙地维护了男权秩序的完满.此外,电影在“看与被看”的装置上将女性贬为客体,从而建立起男性的主体性.     

Migration and stratification

Migration and stratification are increasingly intertwined. One day soon it will be impossible to understand one without the other. Both focus on life chances. Stratification is about differential life chances - who gets what and why - and migration is about improving life chances - getting more of the good things of life. To examine the interconnections of migration and stratification, we address a mix of old and new questions, carrying out analyses newly enabled by a unique new data set on recent legal immigrants to the United States (the New Immigrant Survey). We look at immigrant processing and lost documents, depression due to the visa process, presentation of self, the race-ethnic composition of an immigrant cohort (made possible by the data for the first time since 1961), black immigration from Africa and the Americas, skin color diversity among couples formed by US citizen sponsors and immigrant spouses, and English fluency among children age 8-12 and their immigrant parents. We find, inter alia, that children of previously illegal parents are especially more likely to be fluent in English, that native-born US citizen women tend to marry darker, that immigrant applicants who go through the visa process while already in the United States are more likely to have their documents lost and to suffer visa depression, and that immigration, by introducing accomplished black immigrants from Africa (notably via the visa lottery), threatens to overturn racial and skin color associations with skill. Our analyses show the mutual embeddedness of migration and stratification in the unfolding of the immigrants’ and their children’s life chances and the impacts on the stratification structure of the United States.     

Reservation price uncertainty: Loss,virtue, or emotional heterogeneity?

One of the best-researched anomalies in behavioral sciences is loss aversion, but with strong study variations and no systematic explanations thereof. The aim here was to introduce psychophysiological correlates for loss aversion to improve behavioral predictability. In an endowment experiment, a loss versus gain framing was implemented for a virtue versus a vice product. In addition to the classical price elicitation, an area of indifference and individual price reactions were examined, while emotional arousal as skin conductance levels were continuously measured. Furthermore, various heterogeneity measures for emotions and product experience evaluations were applied directly after the purchasing decision or as a more general personality measure at the end of the study. Results show fundamental regularities of product and frame on the price or the size of indifference. Physiologically measured emotional arousal further supports the dependence of loss aversion. Vice products and a loss frame increase emotional arousal and the consumer purchase price indifference. Reported emotions, aggregated as personality factors, can partially explain the observed heterogeneity in purchase price levels and price indifferences.

Frantz Fanon’s writing represents a productive embrace of the political and the poetic. His ideas have had such a long afterlife, they live on in us, I submit, precisely because the language of their articulation, image-filled and rhythmic, is compelling. This article examines three elements of Fanonian poetics in Black Skin, White Masks: the use of metaphor and, in “By Way of Conclusion,” an ambiguous/multiple “I” as persona, and, finally, what Brent Edwards has called “anaphoric poetics,” the repetition of the same word or words at the beginning of successive phrases.
