金诗学唐的历程

金代诗歌在受苏轼等宋代诗人的影响之外 ,也受到唐诗的浸润。本文依据金诗发展变化的自身情况 ,考察了金诗学唐的历程。文中将金诗学唐分为金初“借才异代”时期、“国朝文派”时期、金代后期等三个阶段 ,做了比较详细的论述 ,从一个方面展示了金诗发展的轨迹 ,揭示了金诗的某些重要特点 ,对于我们深入地认识金诗是有裨益的     

Age embodied

In this essay, I argue that social scientists might usefully theorize age and embodiment as mutually constituting accomplishments. Material from interviews with 15 adults over 50 illustrates the utility of this theoretical framework and reveals four main dimensions of embodiment—activity, fitness, and health; energy; appearance; and ailments and illness—that respondents draw on as they consider what it means to be both embodied and aged (i.e., having an age). In addition, the interviews show how respondents make social comparisons and employ age-adjusted standards as they interpret their bodies, activities, and capabilities in relation to age.

《老子》韵读研究

本文分三大部分：一、依王力古韵三十部，将《老子》各章所有入韵之字表而谱之；二、自用韵之部居、韵在句中之位置、韵在章中之位置、用韵之数量、用韵比配之形式等角度，归纳出《老子》用韵40例；三、古今诸家对《老子》韵读之研究，多有失误所在。究其失误之由，则主要在于对《老子》韵例之特殊性及《老子》以古谐声入韵之特殊性认识不足。特略考数例，以明一般。     

Stigma, HIV/AIDS and prevention of mother-to-child transmission in Zambia

This report evaluates the extent of perceived and enacted HIV/AIDS-related stigma in a rural setting in Zambia. Stigmatisation is abundant, ranging from subtle actions to the most extreme degradation, rejection and abandonment. Women with HIV and pregnant women assumed to be HIV positive are repeatedly subjected to extensive forms of stigma, particularly once they become sick or if their child dies. Despite increasing access to prevention of mother to child transmission initiatives, including anti-retroviral drugs, the perceived disincentives of HIV testing, particularly for women, largely outweigh the potential gains from available treatments. HIV/AIDS related stigma drives the epidemic underground and is one of the main reasons that people do not wish to know their HIV status. Unless efforts to reduce stigma are, as one peer educator put it, “written in large letters in any HIV/AIDS campaign rather than small”, stigma will remain a major barrier to curbing the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Open Road or Blind Alley? Welfare Reform, Mothers, and Children with Disabilities

Welfare reform was examined for 39 Michigan families whose children have significant health or intellectual and behavioral disabilities. As a group, these families received little specialized assistance or services to address their unique needs. Family-cited barriers to self-sufficiency included poorly trained welfare caseworkers, limited public transportation, and inadequate child care. Having an older child was the only discriminating variable between working and non-working mothers. However, working mothers only had temporary positions with no benefits and low pay. All families, whether employed or not, lived below the poverty line.
