世界遗产:人类共同继承的遗产

申遗越来越火热,世界遗产及其保护主体的问题也得到越来越多的关注,这一问题的厘清,关系到遗产保护工作中的权责、动员和参与性等问题。通过对1972年《保护世界文化与自然遗产公约》背后的理念根源进行梳理,从比较宏观、中观的层面来分析世界遗产地及其保护的主体。     

Relative Spousal Earnings and Marital Happiness Among African American and White Women

The distinctive economic histories of African American and White wives suggest that involvement in household income production holds contextually situated unique meanings for these groups. Yet research has not addressed racial differences in the effects of relative earnings on marital well‐being. Surveying 431 employed wives in 21 U.S. cities, we found that wife‐to‐husband income ratio and marital happiness were negatively associated when women held traditional values, but in racially distinct ways. Among White women only, a negative association between income ratio and marital happiness was reversed when financial need was reported. Findings are discussed in terms of variability in the meaning of wives’ earnings as a function of situational, historical, and sociocultural dynamics.

论新时期中国电影的民族化演进过程——以第三、四、五代导演为例

中国电影事业自新时期以来取得了辉煌的成就,不但涌现大量的佳片力作,而且还不断在世界电影舞台上获得声誉。这种良好态势的出现除了是因为我们吸收了世界电影的先进经验,更为重要的是由于这一时期电影在处理民族化问题方面上成就显著。因而,从民族化进程的角度并以新时期电影的主要制作者———第三、四、五代导演为例来探讨这一时期电影的得失就具有深刻的现实意义。     

大学生短跑运动员赛前准备活动与控制

运用问卷调查法、文献资料法和数理统计法,对大学生短跑运动员赛前准备活动进行研究。在此基础上从内容、强度和时间上对准备活动的控制进行探讨,以便通过有效的准备活动调动和激发比赛情绪,创造有利的赛前状态。     

Body,dress and cultural exclusion: Experiences of Pakistani women in ‘global’ Hong Kong

Underneath a veneer of racial harmony and acceptance, racial discrimination is widespread at many different levels of life in Hong Kong, the so-called ‘global city’. For decades, some minority communities have lived with subtle but institutionalized and cultural discrimination permeating their existence. In recent years, social exclusion has been one of the important themes in policy debates in Hong Kong. It is increasingly recognized that there is a close relation between ‘ethnicity’ and ‘social exclusion’. According to our research on the life situation of the South Asian minority in Hong Kong, experiences of exclusion are common. This paper focuses on investigating dress as a form of cultural exclusion among Pakistani women in Hong Kong and how mainstream society constrains the bodies of its members through dress.

马克思主义中国化是中国革命和建设的重要问题。一定的时代氛围和民族土壤是马克思主义发展的时空条件;中国的国情必然使马克思主义的发展带有“中国特色”;马克思主义在中国的历史性飞跃是时代性与民族性的成功契合,实现了从马克思主义中国化到中国化马克思主义的历史性飞跃。

本文应用灰色系统理论和方法，以历年度中国女子中长跑运动各项前１０名成绩为数据数列，对中国女子中长跑运动成绩增长规律进行了分析，并对到２０００年中国女子中长跑运动成绩的发展趋势进行了预测．     

British sociology and public intellectuals: consumer society and imperial decline

The following is the lecture given for the BJS 2005 Public Sociology Debate given at the London School of Economics and Political Science on ll October 2005. This lecture on the character of British sociology provides a pretext for a more general inquiry into public intellectual life in postwar Britain. The argument put forward falls into several distinctive sections. First, British social science has depended heavily on the migration of intellectuals, especially Jewish intellectuals who were refugees from fascism. Second, intellectual innovation requires massive, disruptive, violent change. Third, British sociology did nevertheless give rise to a distinctive tradition of social criticism in which one can argue there were (typically home-grown) public intellectuals. The main theme of their social criticism was to consider the constraining and divisive impact of social class, race and gender on the enjoyment of expanding social citizenship. Fourth, postwar British sociology came to be dominated by the analysis of an affluent consumer society. Finally, the main failure of British sociology in this postwar period was the absence of any sustained, macro-sociological analysis of the historical decline of Britain as a world power in the twentieth century.
