Marital Conflict and Children's Emotions: The Development of an Anger Organization

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between anger‐based marital conflict and the development of an anger organization in children between the ages of 4 and 8 years old. Anger organization was defined as an adversarial approach to relationships demonstrated through (a) short‐term anger expressions during social interaction and (b) aggression in relationships. Seventy‐one children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, their mothers, and their teachers participated in the study. Mothers completed questionnaires on anger‐based marital conflict and on children's aggression. Sociometric ratings of anger and aggression were obtained from peers. Teachers supplied reports of children's aggression. Children's short‐term emotional expression and the circumstances that elicited emotions were observed during peer interaction. Anger‐based marital conflict was found to be strongly associated with peer, maternal, and teacher reports of aggression, but not with reports of internalizing symptomatology. Anger‐based marital conflict was also associated with short‐term anger expressions, but not with short‐term expressions of sadness. I argue that children develop an emotional organization in which anger predominates when they are exposed to high levels of anger‐based marital conflict.

银行服务失误对消费者情绪和行为的影响

采取情景模拟方法和通过实证研究,发现银行三类服务失误对消费者外在负面情绪、内在负面情绪和抱怨行为都有显著影响,消费者负面情绪对抱怨行为和转换行为有显著影响,银行服务失误和消费者抱怨行为并不必然导致转换行为,这些结论弥补了理论界在此领域的研究不足,并有助于推动银行重视服务失误和正确对待消费者抱怨,进而提升整体服务质量。     

补救公平性对消费者情绪和行为意向的影响

采用情景模拟方法,以快递服务失误和补救为例,分别测评了三类服务补救公平性感知对消费者情绪和行为意向的影响,结果发现,首先,服务补救公平性对消费者情绪和行为意向均有显著影响,其中感知公平的服务补救比感知不公平的服务补救能够给消费者带来更高的正面情绪,口碑传播,重购意向和更低的负面情绪。其次,服务补救公平性各维度对消费者情绪和行为意向均有显著影响,感知公平中的交互公平和结果公平能够给消费者带来正面情绪、口碑传播和重购意向,但不会带来负面情绪,程序公平不能够给消费者带来正面情绪、口碑传播和重购意向,也不会带来负面情绪,各维度的重要程度依次是交互公平、结果公平和程序公平。再次,感知不公平的服务补救各维度均不能够给消费者带来正面情绪、口碑传播和重购意向,而是会带来负面情绪。最后,获得服务补救消费者的正面情绪与口碑传播和重购意向呈显著正相关,消费者负面情绪与口碑传播和重购意向呈显著负相关。     

道歉承诺类管理反馈策略对顾客二次满意度的影响——基于顾客多样情绪调节效应

O2O模式下,众多学者和商家都关注何种在线管理反馈策略能提升顾客满意度,然而多数研究仅针对顾客负向情绪,忽略了顾客多样情绪对在线管理反馈策略影响的调节作用。实际上顾客在接受在线管理反馈时带有矛盾情绪,表现为多种情绪。因此本文针对消费者多样情绪,研究不同情绪调节下道歉承诺类管理反馈策略与顾客满意度之间的关系。通过梳理在线管理反馈策略、顾客满意度、顾客多样情绪等相关研究,提出代表顾客多样情绪的在线评论类型包括：积极评论、偏积极评论、消极评论、偏消极评论,研究不同类型评论（顾客多样情绪）对顾客满意度有不同影响;道歉承诺类管理反馈策略对顾客二次满意度有积极影响;不同类型在线评论（消费者多样情绪）对道歉承诺类管理反馈策略的积极影响有调节作用等假设。本文以国内某旅行网站99027名顾客二次入住酒店数据为样本,用机器学习的方法对顾客评论和管理反馈策略进行分类,通过多元线性回归模型进行实证分析,结果表明：（1）偏积极评论、偏消极评论、消极评论对顾客二次满意度有负向影响;（2）道歉承诺类管理反馈策略对顾客二次满意度有积极作用;（3）顾客偏消极、消极情绪能够加强道歉承诺类管理反馈策略对顾客二次满意度的正向影响,即道歉承诺在调节顾客的消极情绪方面具有一定的积极作用。研究结果丰富了在线管理反馈策略理论和方法,为服务商进行在线管理反馈时应采取的措施提供了一些参考,对服务商通过第三方平台加强顾客关系管理具有一定的指导意义。

Children's Emotional Regulation and Social Competence in Middle Childhood

SUMMARY

Associations among parental behaviors, children's emotional reactivity, and dimensions of children's social competence were examined. Fourth grade children (N = 103) and their parents participated in a laboratory discussion task. Parent-child relationship qualities, parental emotion socialization behaviors, measures of children's emotional regulatory abilities, and social competence (assessed by teachers and peers) were obtained. Results indicated that parents' behaviors in the discussion task were related to both children's emotional and social competence. Both mothers' and fathers' behaviors were linked to children's emotional regulatory abilities and social competence. In addition, children's emotional regulation was related to children's social competence. Only limited evidence of the mediating role of emotion regulation was found. Implications for relative roles of mothers and fathers in the emergence of emotional and social competence were noted.     

Conflicts in Family Relations,Children's Emotions and Agency

What kind of conflicts and tensions do children experience with other children and adults in the family? Content analysis of 32 thematic interviews with 10‐ to 13‐year‐old children revealed that while conflicts often concern daily actions, tasks and routines, they also relate to decision‐making and fair treatment or to matters threatening the child's sense of emotional security. Parental conflicts and conflicts in child–parent relationships often arouse negative emotions that lead children to suppress their agency. However, conflicts, particularly those between siblings, may also open up possibilities for negotiation and agency.
