文学的“日常生活”因素及其凸显是中国当代社会转型的结果,文学对“日常生活”的呈现具有选择性、指向性和策略性.新写实小说通过对日常生活的重复性、“再生产性”、功利性和实用主义的推崇,对日常满足的平庸化、一般化叙事,确立了日常生活在新写实小说中的本体性地位.新写实小说中“日常生活”的意识形态性,包括“日常生活”的现代性诉求、大众文化属性和“日常生活”的多元性,既要从下而上地参与不断变动的日常实践,也要从上而下地以理论建构“日常生活”的多维空间.     

论廉政文化建设的三个实践维度

笔者认为廉政文化必须通过自省自律得到真切的诠释,方能在人们的价值观念中得以认同;廉政文化必须要回归社会日常生活,方能引导、规范现代社会人们的政治生活;廉政文化必须恰如其分地结合有效的制度支撑,方能达到扶正祛邪惩恶扬善。     

盐酸多奈哌齐联合高压氧对轻、中度血管性痴呆患者认知功能和日常生活能力的影响

目的探讨盐酸多奈哌齐联合高压氧治疗轻、中度血管性痴呆的疗效。方法入选40例患者随机分为盐酸多奈哌齐联合高压氧组和对照组,治疗前后分别使用MMSE及ADL评估疗效。结果盐酸多奈哌齐联合高压氧组治疗后MMSE得分明显高于对照组（P〈0.05）,ADL得分低于对照组（P〈0.05）。结论盐酸多奈哌齐联合高压氧是治疗轻、中度血管性痴呆的理想方法。

Defining Spirituality of Work

There is a current surge of writings on spirituality and related topics. For instance, Woodward (1997) has pointed out that since Thomas Moore's publication of Care of the Soul in 1994 there have been nearly 800books published with the word soul in the title. These run all the way from Chicken Soup for theWoman's Soul (Canfield et al., 1996) to A Guide to Liberating YourSoul (Barrett, 1995). Spirituality of work is a big part of this surge. Definitionsof spirituality of work seem to vary widely. Bowman (1998, p. 8) in his `reviewof the phenomenon of spirituality of work' found `Definitions of the term spirituality in the context of the Spirituality of Work troublesome and particularly subjective. Many writers do not even attempt definitions.' The purpose of this article is to review the concept of spirituality of work in its historical and current use and to propose a comprehensive definition.

Are state mindfulness and state work engagement related during the workday?

Given the growing interest in mindfulness in the workplace and the established importance of work engagement for work-related health and well-being, we explore the relationships between these 2 positive psychological states as they vary naturalistically over the workday. Utilising data from 3 measurement occasions per day (before work, mid-workday, and end-workday), we track natural variations in state mindfulness and state work engagement to create a fine-grained picture about their reciprocal relationships within the workday. A sample of 94 university employees completed multiple diary entries per day, for 10 working days. Data were analysed using multilevel structural equation modelling in MPlus, testing within-person pathways between mindfulness and work engagement across the day. Although state work engagement was a predictor of subsequent state mindfulness, state mindfulness did not predict subsequent state work engagement when controlling for earlier within-day work engagement. Overall, the within-day associations between mindfulness and work engagement were weak. We note the high within-day stabilities of state mindfulness and state work engagement, and discuss whether job and personal resources as well as task features might be moderators in the relationships between these constructs.     

The effects of ego-resilience,social support,and depression on suicidal ideation among the elderly in South Korea

South Korea’s elderly suicide rate is not merely the highest among the member nations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, it is the highest in the world. This study analyzed the effect of ego-resilience and social support on depression and suicidal ideation of the elderly, providing baseline data to aid in the development of preventive programs on elder suicide. We found that ego-resilience is a strong inhibitor of suicidal ideation. Direct and indirect effects of social support on suicidal ideation were especially helpful for elders with mild depression.     

Normal mixture method for stock daily returns over different sub-periods

In this paper, the normal mixture model, as an alternative distribution, is utilized to represent the characteristics of stock daily returns over different bull and bear markets. Firstly, we conduct the normality test for the return data and compare the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistics of normal mixture models with different components. Secondly, we analyze the likely reasons why parameters change over different sub-periods. Our empirical examination proves that majority of the data series reject the normality assumption and mixture models with three components can model the behavior of daily returns more appropriately and steadily. This result has both statistical and economic significance.
