Resumen

Este artículo cuestiona el diseño, los procedimientos y la interpretación de los resultados del conocido “Experimento de la Prisión de Stanford” realizado por Zimbardo y colaboradores. Un estudio alternativo, el denominado “Experimento de la Prisión de la BBC” ha obtenido resultados totalmente distintos de los descritos por Zimbardo y colaboradores. Los resultados de este nuevo estudio son interpretados dentro del marco de la Teoría de la Identidad Social y sugieren una visión radicalmente diferente de la psicología del poder y de la tiranía.     

Ignorancia pluralista,atribución de causalidad y sesgos cognitivos en el caso

Resumen

Las personas en ocasiones atribuyen una actitud mayoritaria al grupo falsamente, ya que éste en privado contesta de forma mayoritaria lo) contrario. De ahí el nombre de Ignorancia Pluralista: todos comparten pluralmente una visión falsa de la realidad, que al compartirlapermite que actitudes y conduct as abandonadas privadamente sigan subsistiendo. Una encuesta sobre la actitud personal y la actitud general hacia lo gitano llevada a cabo en el País Vasco (N=120) confirma esta ignorancia pluralista en relación al prejuicio antigitano. La ignorancia pluralista se asocia a la falsa unicidad o ilusión de control y la percepción que la mayoría tiene de forma homogénea la actitud percibida. También se confirma que la Ignorancia Pluralista produce un efecto de extrañamiento o sensación de desviación cultural. Sin embargo, ni la atribución de causalidad interna ni la inhibición de conductas pro-gitanas están relacionadas con la Ignorancia Pluralista.     

REVERSING A SPIRAL OF DEPRIVATION: WORKING TO AMELIORATE THE RELATIONSHIP OF STAFF AND BOYS IN A RESIDENTIAL HOME

This paper discusses the work of a consultation to a staff group at a residential home for adolescent boys. The work discovered that each encounter increased each group's sense of deprivation. This escalation is understood as their relationship being based upon a spiral of deprivation. In this situation the staff's capacity to think in terms of their training in Winnicott's ideas about residential care, and that behaviour has meaning, was lost. By using himself as the container of staff emotional states, through recognising their communications in terms of Bion's concept of normal projective identification, the consultant was better able to understand the nature of the difficulties in the boys' and staff relationship. Hence, the attempt to engage staff through the consultation was successful and their capacity to think was restored. The material discussed shows this development enabled staff to better contain their own and the boys' feelings, thus allowing the spiral to reverse.     

Pour une approche stratégique en matière d'inspection du travail

Dans un rapport de 2006, l'OIT soulignait les difficultés que rencontre l'inspection du travail dans ses Etats Membres et proposait des mesures pour améliorer son efficacité. Partant de cette réflexion, l'auteur avance que, sans cadre stratégique clair pour répondre aux plaintes et cibler les enquêtes programmées, les inspections échouent souvent à maximiser leur efficacité dans l'utilisation de ressources limitées. Pour ce faire, il propose que leur activité suive quatre principes: définition des priorités, dissuasion, pérennité, effets systémiques. Il conclut en énonçant les conditions nécessaires à l'élaboration de stratégies réglementaires cohérentes.

This analysis of the mobilization of American artists against the war in Iraq emphasizes how their work situations have shaped their involvement. Regardless of political organizations and networks, or of the ideological dimensions of the anti-war cause, relations having to do with the work and occupational identities of these persons determined, in the first place, their actions and the positions they have adopted publicly. This article contrasts various “artistic subfields” and “patterns of activity” in order to understand the factors that have made it more or less tenable for these social actors to articulate the identities of artist and activist and, in some cases, to produce “political art”. The second part focuses on the “professional structuring” of this activism by showing how the current operation of artistic spheres — which have become more self-regulated, specialized and professionalized —tend to curb the confusion of issues that mixes aesthetic up with politics.     

Dinámicas complejas en el flujo: diferencias entre trabajo y no trabajo

Resumen

Esta investigación se interesó por la dinámica del flujo (flow) en contextos laborales y no laborales con el objetivo de conocer diferencias y semejanzas de dicha experiencia motivational. Sesenta empleados de ocupaciones variadas contestaron un diario de flujo seis veces al día durante veintiún días consecutivos (6982 registros). Los datos fueron analizados a nivel entre e intra-sujeto y se utilizaron modelos lineales (i.e. regresión lineal) y no lineales (i.e. modelo de catástrofes) para conocer la capacidad predictiva del ajuste reto-habilidades sobre el flujo. Contextos laboral y no laboral han mostrado dos diferencias fundamentales: mayores fluctuaciones en el flujo en el segundo (desviaciones tipo mayores en las variables habilidades, disfrute, interés y absorción) y un significado distinto del reto. Por otro lado, la capacidad de predicción del modelo no lineal ha sido claramente mayor que su homólogo lineal (42% frente al 19%, en el caso del no trabajo; 44% frente a 33% en el trabajo). El flujo, tanto en contextos laborales como no laborales, muestra dinámicas no lineales que combinan cambios graduales y cambios abruptos. La investigación e intervención interesadas en este proceso deberían centrarse en la variable reto que se ha mostrado clave para entender dichas dinámicas complejas en el flujo.     

身历其境:清末民初中国城市与欧洲文学想象(克劳代尔篇)

清末民初,一些欧洲文学家来到中国.他们能透过现象追寻中华文化的本质,向往着历史文化积淀的超越意义.更重要的是,作为文学家,他们汲取身历其境的实存经验,写出个人独到而深刻的生活体会,探索异文化给自己带来的心灵冲击,思考文化环境与文学想象的关系,创作出重要的文学作品,影响了后世.这些欧洲作家书写中国经验的过程,涉及了不同文化的交叉渗透.通过作者书写的主观努力,以及本人不能完全意识到的多重文化场域的影响,创作出涉及特定历史真实的艺术想象记录.这样的记录,虽然不能作为完全客观的史料来理解,但也不是天马行空式的文学艺术想象.本文以克劳代尔为例,探讨欧洲文学家亲身观察之细密,以及观察后所创作的文化想象,再与当时中国人自己的地方志和风土历史记录对照,希望可以对清末民初的城市印象及其可提供的文化想象空间,提出一点新的观照方式.     

白居易在宋初的“影子”——论白体诗人李昉与白居易

宋初,举朝上下弥漫着一股崇尚白居易的风气,宋诗也以“白体”开始了自己的发展历程。一直以来,学者多关注宋初文学最高成就的代表诗人王禹偁对白居易的学习,然而王禹偁却推崇另一位诗人“须知文集里,全似白公诗”,此即当时一位颇受皇帝重用、位高权重又喜好赋咏的李昉。李昉在宋初堪称白居易最忠实的追随者。与王禹偁受困于仕途的坎坷磨折不同,李昉更有条件追仿白居易的闲适生活和闲适诗风,由此也成为宋初主流风尚接受白居易的代表,代表着王禹偁之前宋初“白体”的真正风貌。     

La responsabilité sociale des entreprises, un projet européen en panne

The European Union (EU) has developed a special approach to corporate social responsibility by incorporating it into its strategies of employment and social cohesion and of sustainable development. This should make it possible to diffuse the European social model inside and outside the EU. Through an unprecedented dialog between institutions and “civil society”, the EU planned to explore the possibility of a consensus on a framework for corporate social responsibility. This article seeks to shed light on the perilous disconnection between European institutions, companies and society at a time when the corporate social responsibility practiced by European firms has turned into a vector of innovation in labor relations by becoming a subject of transnational negotiations. It has also become a litmus test of the limits of a self-regulation, worldwide, of labor questions.     

Gender inequality in culture industries: Women and men writers in film and television

This article discusses how employment practices concerning writers of film and television contribute to gender inequality and the glass ceiling in Hollywood. Relying on historical evidence about the industries of film and television and quantitative data from analyses of the employment and membership records of the Writers Guild of America, West, the union for film and television writers in Hollywood, this article presents an overview of the industry's historical transformation from hierarchy to market in order to understand the nature of Hollywood's employment relation. It then examines how the dynamics associated with the participation of women writers contribute to particular forms of gender inequality in film and television. The conclusion considers why proven remedies for minimizing gender inequality are so difficult to achieve in the culture industry of Hollywood.
