A Baseline-free Procedure for Transformation Models Under Interval Censorship

An important property of Cox regression model is that the estimation of regression parameters using the partial likelihood procedure does not depend on its baseline survival function. We call such a procedure baseline-free. Using marginal likelihood, we show that an baseline-free procedure can be derived for a class of general transformation models under interval censoring framework. The baseline-free procedure results a simplified and stable computation algorithm for some complicated and important semiparametric models, such as frailty models and heteroscedastic hazard/rank regression models, where the estimation procedures so far available involve estimation of the infinite dimensional baseline function. A detailed computational algorithm using Markov Chain Monte Carlo stochastic approximation is presented. The proposed procedure is demonstrated through extensive simulation studies, showing the validity of asymptotic consistency and normality. We also illustrate the procedure with a real data set from a study of breast cancer. A heuristic argument showing that the score function is a mean zero martingale is provided.

近代若干农村地区的若干手工业行业的发展,促进了农村社会变迁:首先,传统农、副业结构、农村种植结构、农民收入结构等发生了变化,地区间的产业分工初露初端倪,农民生活水平相对提高;其次,有利于农村传统市镇的转型与新兴市镇的产生;最后,乡村手工业的发展促进了农村商人阶层的崛起,农村社会救助能力得以提高.

在我国经济体制转型时期,存在着经济意识转型的问题。经济意识是经济活动的反映,并通过支配主体的经济行为调整社会经济关系。经济意识分为刚性经济意识和柔性经济意识。在经济哲学意义上探讨转型时期的经济意识冲突,寻求解决冲突的路向,从而实现经济意识的转型,具有一定的理论价值和现实意义。     

Globalization and the German model of capitalism – erosion or survival?

The German business system has been regarded as a particularly tightly coupled system, with embeddedness of even multinational companies (MNCs) in their home base as particularly deep. A study of the impact of companies' changing internationalization, if not globalization, strategies is therefore especially suited to test competing claims about their effects on the German business system. Are we experiencing an erosion of this system, an adaptation in a largely path‐dependent way, or even a greater specialization and stronger crystallization of the German business system? To investigate these questions, the paper examines a small number of German MNCs in their domestic and international context. More particularly, the work focuses on whether and how their emergent globalization activities affect the reproduction or erosion of the three institutional complexes which shape the factors of production: the financial system; the innovation system; and the industrial relations system. The paper concludes that a new type of transformation – hybridization – is emerging. It is regarded as a consequence of German companies' growing integration into a global economic system.     

基于小波变换的长记忆随机波动模型估计方法研究

根据ARFIMA过程的小波分析结果,将小波引入到长记忆随机波动(Long Memory Stochastic Volatility)LMSV模型的估计中,提出了基于小波变换的LMSV模型的参数估计和潜在波动过程的估计方法.用不同参数值和样本容量的数据进行了模拟实验,又用该方法对上海和深圳证券交易所综合指数的收益序列拟合了LMSV模型,结果表明该方法是有效且可行的.
