金融自由化浪潮下我国金融业发展对策

20世纪70年代以来,国际金融自由化的进程明显加快,金融工具不断创新,金融信息化蓬勃发展.利率市场化、放松金融管制、开放国内资本市场、加强对全球金融的统一监管成为大势所趋.文章通过国际金融自由化进程中一些规律性经验的总结及我国金融改革历程的回顾,对我国金融市场在利率、外汇及证券等业务的开放提出了建议.     

美国、日本、中国内地及香港特区汇制趋势分析

汇率制度的制定和实施已经直接影响到一个国家的经济发展。经过几十年研究,人们已经认识到没有哪一种汇率制度能够适应所有国家和所有时期,汇率制度由经济基础决定并反作用于经济社会。对照美国、日本、中国内地及香港特区的汇率制度现状及其对经济的影响,可以推断,美元、日元和人民币在未来应当以定期调整的均衡汇率作为中心汇率,实行汇率目标区制度;香港特区作为中国不可分割的一部分,港币最终将进入人民币区域。     

Causal inferences on the effectiveness of complex social programs: Navigating assumptions,sources of complexity and evaluation design challenges

This paper explores avenues for navigating evaluation design challenges posed by complex social programs (CSPs) and their environments when conducting studies that call for generalizable, causal inferences on the intervention’s effectiveness. A definition is provided of a CSP drawing on examples from different fields, and an evaluation case is analyzed in depth to derive seven (7) major sources of complexity that typify CSPs, threatening assumptions of textbook-recommended experimental designs for performing impact evaluations. Theoretically-supported, alternative methodological strategies are discussed to navigate assumptions and counter the design challenges posed by the complex configurations and ecology of CSPs. Specific recommendations include: sequential refinement of the evaluation design through systems thinking, systems-informed logic modeling; and use of extended term, mixed methods (ETMM) approaches with exploratory and confirmatory phases of the evaluation. In the proposed approach, logic models are refined through direct induction and interactions with stakeholders. To better guide assumption evaluation, question-framing, and selection of appropriate methodological strategies, a multiphase evaluation design is recommended.     

Ben's Grille

Summary

Advantages of computer-based alcohol education over traditional written materials in improving alcohol related behavior are presented in this article. The program, “Ben's Grille” was created to promote public awareness of issues relating to the use and abuse of alcohol The program is described in detail along with directions for use. One component of the program, an interactive drama, is the focus of this article. Characters from which a play can select to play are described. Methods used in obtaining feedback about the game are specified. The author concludes that both students and teachers have had positive reactions to the program.     

浅析日语在中国的传播历程

中日两国是一衣带水的邻邦，两国有着悠久的交流史，而语言必然是交流的工具和先行。任何文化交流包括文字交流必然是双向的，作为日语，其在中国的传播，以及中国人对日语的理解与接受是一个较为复杂的过程，其先后经历了原始「錄音（ろくぉん）」阶段、「寄語（きこ）」阶段（即翻译阶段）、「仮名（カナ）」的「伝来（でんらい）」阶段。     

Tests for Unit-Root versus Threshold Specification With an Application to the Purchasing Power Parity Relationship

We consider modeling the real exchange rate by a stationary three-regime self-exciting threshold autoregressive (SETAR) model with possibly a unit root in the middle regime. This representation is consistent with purchasing power parity in the presence of trading costs. Our main contribution is to provide statistical tools for testing unit root versus a SETAR. First, we show that a SETAR with a unit root in the middle regime is stationary and mixing under reasonable assumptions. Second, we derive analytically the asymptotic distribution of our unit-root test under the null. Using monthly real exchange rate data, our test rejects the null of unit-root against a threshold process for five European series.     

Workplace Crisis Intervention

Summary

The workplace, where adults spend about one-third of their lives, would seem an ideal place from which to promote health and respond to crisis. This paper employs a systematic statistical review of experimental and quasi-experimental research on workplace-based crisis intervention programs. Nine studies were identified that met inclusion criteria for further analysis. Results suggest that the workplace can be a useful platform from which to provide crisis intervention programs.     

中美利差对人民币汇率变动的影响分析

以利差对汇率传导机制和路径的理论分析为基础，通过建立汇率行为路径分析模型，检验有关名义利差与名义汇率关系的理论和经验方面的问题。中美实证研究结果表明，名义利差变动对名义汇率变动的影响支持利率平价理论，但利差对汇率变动的传导路径较利率平价理论更为复杂，且传导方式和效应大小在2005年7月汇改前后有显著差别。     

汇率变动对日本贸易收支影响的实证研究

通过汇率变动对日本贸易收支影响的协整分析,发现实际有效汇率升值会引起日本的贸易顺差减少,但是汇率升值对日本贸易收支的影响不是十分显著,贸易收支的变动还要受到其他各种因素的制约。     

国际收支平衡调控分析

针对中国国际收支不平衡问题,采用对比分析的方法,分析了国际收支存在服务、收益项目发展滞后,净误差与遗漏账户逆差,外汇储备过大等问题,提出处理好货物出口与服务出口,汇率贬值与升值,储备增长与防范风险,加强收支统计与打击逃汇、骗汇关系等解决策略。研究结论对调控国际收支有指导意义。
