悼红轩里增删遍,料定知音旷代存——拜读贺信民先生《红情绿意——<红楼梦>点面论》

三十多年的耕耘,《红情绿意——〈红楼梦〉点面论》的面世,成为贺信民先生贡献于红学界的又一丰硕成果。书中宏观运幄与微观烛照兼长,用生命体验来感悟红楼,在慧眼洞察的缕缕新意之中折射着贺信民先生“研红”的风雨征程,折射着红学界积火传薪的优良学术传承。     

On a Dualization of Graphical Gaussian Models: A Correction Note

Abstract.  We correct two proofs concerning Markov properties for graphs representing marginal independence relations.     

A Risk-Based Method for Modeling Traffic Fatalities

We describe a risk-based analytical framework for estimating traffic fatalities that combines the probability of a crash and the probability of fatality in the event of a crash. As an illustrative application, we use the methodology to explore the role of vehicle mix and vehicle prevalence on long-run fatality trends for a range of transportation growth scenarios that may be relevant to developing societies. We assume crash rates between different road users are proportional to their roadway use and estimate case fatality ratios (CFRs) for the different vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-pedestrian combinations. We find that in the absence of road safety interventions, the historical trend of initially rising and then falling fatalities observed in industrialized nations occurred only if motorization was through car ownership. In all other cases studied (scenarios dominated by scooter use, bus use, and mixed use), traffic fatalities rose monotonically. Fatalities per vehicle had a falling trend similar to that observed in historical data from industrialized nations. Regional adaptations of the model validated with local data can be used to evaluate the impacts of transportation planning and safety interventions, such as helmets, seat belts, and enforcement of traffic laws, on traffic fatalities.     

论奥斯古德对昆明高峣社区的人类学研究

1938年夏天,美国年轻学者科尼利尔斯·奥斯古德为了履行与燕京大学的合作计划,不远万里来到滇池西岸一个名不见经传的小村庄调查.1961年,他开启尘封的笔记本,整理旧资料,补充新文献,完成了<旧中国的农村生活:对云南高峣的社区研究>.70年过去,重温科尼利尔斯·奥斯古德的研究历程,我们仍会从中获得许多有益的启示.     

Deconvolution with supersmooth distributions

Nonparametric deconvolution problems require one to recover an unknown density when the data are contaminated with errors. Optimal global rates of convergence are found under the weighted L_p-loss (1 ≤ p ≤ ∞). It appears that the optimal rates of convergence are extremely low for supersmooth error distributions. To resolve this difficulty, we examine how high the noise level can be for deconvolution to be feasible, and for the deconvolution estimate to be as good as the ordinary density estimate. It is shown that if the noise level is not too high, nonparametric Gaussian deconvolution can still be practical. Several simulation studies are also presented.     

中国现代文学白话语言的传媒基础

中国现代文学语言是以现代传媒为基础的,现代传媒对"口语词"和"书面词"的统一,是现代报刊媒体通过语言最大限度地挖掘了民族文化中的平民化精神,一种现代社会变革和文化震动联系在一起的平民意识.同时,现代报刊也以白话语言为人们重塑了一个民族国家的梦想.但是,现代传媒带来的汉语审美力量的削弱,引发汉语艺术张力大倒退的现象,同样值得人们关注.     

论红学的边界性

《红楼梦》自诞生以来，被当成各种属性的文本，它在不同的学科领域被接受，而对于任何一个学科来说，《红楼梦》的阅读现象都呈现出一种边界性。这根源于文本《红楼梦》的边界性，它本身具有小说学、经学、朴学的因素。这种边界性正是红学的生机之所在。边界性不等于混乱与无充，从方法论看，红学具有两个世界；事实还原的世界和意义诠释的世界。     

语篇分析与机器翻译

机译系统应该建立在具有语篇分析的大型语料库基础之上,语篇语料库内的原语和目的语文本不是单向、而应是双向或多向流动的网络系统。文本的译文也应该有历时和共时的区别,因为互文性已是翻译的某种本质特征。

近年一种新的中小型企业形式———“生而全球化的公司”出现了。这类企业针对多国市场或全球市场。生而全球化的公司有着自身重要特征。生而全球化的公司在海外国家销售产品的主要原因是其客户或竞争对手是全球化的(特别在高科技)抑或其分销方法是全球化的,比如直销或因特网销售。综合理论阐述结合案例分析生而全球化的公司的全球市场进入战略。生而全球化公司必须是思维全球化,行为当地化。必须对当地市场的变化保持灵活性的同时整合不同国家的市场策略。     

论李奎报散文中的禅学蕴涵

佛教在高丽时期极为兴盛,对李奎报的文学创作产生了很大影响,尤其是佛教禅宗。在李奎报的散文中,蕴涵着丰富的禅学思想,这主要体现在:(1)一些作品直接阐述禅理、禅意;(2)一些作品间接地表露出禅意、禅境;(3)在艺术手法方面,比喻和典故的大量运用,体现出李奎报对禅学思想的接受。
