Experience, as concept, is contested among feminists as to its epistemological status, thus its usefulness in knowledge claims. Institutional ethnography (Smith 1987) is a feminist methodology that nonetheless relies fundamentally on people's experience. Not as Truth, nor the object of inquiry, but as thepoint d'appui for sociological inquiry. This article offers a demonstration of institutional enthnography using observational and interview data that show experience as methodologically central to a trustworthy analysis. A moment in the work lives of nursing assistants in a long-term care setting is captured by a participant observer. The analysis produces two lines of argument. One is methodological; it is argued that nursing assistants' experiences are an entry into the social relations of the setting that, when mapped and disclosed, make those experiences understandable in terms of the ruling arrangements permeating both the organization and their own experiences. The other argument is substantive; the inquiry uncovers how a quality improvement' strategy in a long term care hospital in Canada is reorganizing caregivers' values and practices toward a market orientation in which care appears to be compromised. This paper examines the entry of Asian immigrant women into a gendered labor market via government-funded job training programs. The focus is on the intake processing of clients into an employment training program operated by a community based organization. The study reveals that women's family responsibilities and the cultural capital they bring function to screen them into or out of training programs and ultimately shape their location in the workforce. The study thus draws attention to how race, class, and gender enter into the organization of Asian immigrant women into the labor market. This investigation is based in institutional ethnography (Smith 1987), a research strategy which displays how activities in a particular setting are coordinated with more extended forms of social organization. The study shows that the overriding concern with successful placement in a job as mandated by government regulations is a critical factor in selecting the women for these programs. 相似文献

水库移民分享水电工程效益旨在促成显性工程效益和隐性发展机遇实现跨地域、跨组织、跨主体的公平配置。 作为水库移民的应然权利,利益分享既符合公正补偿的制度逻辑,更彰显共商共建共赢的发展理念,但目前补偿救济色彩较重、市场导向偏弱,并存在后靠移民发展权利及机遇隐性被动减损、外迁移民脱嵌于迁出地及受益地发展红利、非农移民缺乏系统保障等实践困境,其原因在于水电工程综合效益量化难度大、参与主体关系地位不对等、执行管理机构人员配置短缺。
因此应健全水电工程效益分享协同管理机制,鼓励水电企业履行社会责任,优先助力贫困水库移民脱贫,灵活渐进地实现水库移民分享工程效益实践机制的稳步定型和有序推广。 相似文献

以我国2011-2016年A股制造业上市公司为研究样本,本文采用面板回归模型实证检验了企业水信息披露对企业价值的影响以及异质机构投资者在二者关系中的调节作用。结果表明:目前企业水信息披露水平整体较低,其对企业价值有显著的负向影响;在该影响中,机构投资者整体有显著的正向调节作用,压力抵制型机构投资者有显著的负向调节作用,而压力敏感型机构投资者无显著的调节作用。 相似文献

结合沪深A股制造业上市公司年报数据,构建Tobit回归模型对企业研发行为进行影响因素分析和稳健性检验。结论发现,研发强度与企业规模、大股东持股比例、经营年限负相关,但与技术人员人数占比正相关;此外,销售毛利率、存货周转率、现金比率以及市销率、市净率等指标也明显左右着企业创新积极性的发挥。为此旨在透过研发部门体制改革推动企业创新发展,建议由传统龙头企业拆分设立研发型子公司,对新兴初创企业引入战略投资者;鼓励企业将生产、销售业务逐步外包,探索建立多元化内源性融资渠道;试点成立创新型创投、私募等专项基金,制定针对性财税政策扶持等。 相似文献

土地流转是实现农业现代化的基础条件之一,但是,实现土地有序流转需要建立完善的制度体系。日本近年实施的农地中间管理制度旨在通过建立农地中间管理机构(农地银行)及相应的流转机制和流转补贴制度,促进土地向农业承担主体集中,提高农业用地的利用效率和集约化程度,进而提高农业生产力。通过对该制度的细致总结和效果分析,认为中国的土地流转制度有必要以目标为导向,完善制度设计、细化政策措施、调整农业补贴并注重基层和农民参与。 相似文献
新兴资本市场普遍存在着资产误定价金融异象.在传统金融理论无法解释的情况下,可以行为金融学的相关理论,从分析师评级出发,通过投资者情绪传导,与资产误定价三者之间建立分析逻辑.通过对2009-2015年625家上市公司第一季度数据进行面板数据回归和有调节的中介效应检验,结果发现:分析师的乐观评级及调级会引起价格向上的资产误定价扩大,价格向下的资产误定价减小;乐观评级会比悲观评级引发更大程度的资产误定价;机构投资者的调节作用不显著;分析师评级及调级对资产误定价的影响是通过投资者情绪变化作为中介传导的.根据研究结论,如能在政策层面通过加强分析师队伍管理、强化投资者教育、提高机构投资者的业务素养,就能提高分析师评级的科学性与准确性,促使投资者正确对待分析师评级信息,从而减少乃至消除资产误定价,促进资本市场健康稳定发展. 相似文献

Starting in the 2000s, Denmark and Norway have undergone extensive restructuring of their health-related social benefit programmes, including how they are governed. Several reforms have sought to enhance inter-sectoral collaboration. Aiming at ensuring patients’ faster return to work, policy-makers have instituted economic incentives to both individuals and the health and welfare organisations who handle them. Through an institutional logics approach, this paper explores how hospital social workers in these countries are experiencing these changes. The ‘social’ part of post-treatment care and rehabilitation receives more attention in the Norwegian institutional set-up than in the Danish, and whilst challenges are experienced in both countries, in group interviews Danish social workers in particular express concerns about the implications of the accelerated return-to-work focus. In both countries, they report increasing difficulties in ‘making their way through’ the state-municipal bureaucracy. However, by drawing on the formal health knowledge derived from medical settings and the symbolic capital it bestows on them, they often manage to negotiate the work-and-welfare services, thereby transforming the social context for the patients. 相似文献
