Sexual Orientation and Quality of Life Among University Students from Cuba,Norway, India,and South Africa

This article explores quality-of-life aspects among gay, lesbian, bisexual, and straight male and female students in Havana (Cuba), Troms? (Norway), Hisar (India), and Cape Town (South Africa). In the period 2004–2005, a questionnaire survey on sexuality, happiness, and life satisfaction was undertaken among 339 students from the University of Havana, 144 students from the University of Troms?, 200 students from Guru Jambheswar University, and 189 students from the University of the Western Cape. The majority of the participants were straight and, in Hisar and Cape Town, few of those who regarded themselves as gay/lesbian/bisexual had engaged in sex with a person of the same gender. In all cities, straight men and women scored higher than gay, lesbian, and bisexual persons on the quality-of-life measures. Quality of life among gay/bisexual men and lesbian/bisexual women was higher in cultures with accepting attitudes toward homosexuality than in cultures with restrictive attitudes.     

Kann zu viel Kundenorientierung nachteilig sein? Eine Analyse der Wirkung der Kundenorientierung von Verkäufern auf die Kaufentscheidung

Zusammenfassung  In diesem Beitrag wird analysiert, wie das kundenorientierte Verk?uferverhalten auf die Kaufentscheidung der Kunden wirkt. Die Analyse erfolgt auf der Ebene der Dimensionen des kundenorientierten Verkaufens, namentlich Entscheidungsunterstützung, Aufbau eines positiven Gespr?chsklimas und Vermeidung von Abschlussdruck. Die Ergebnisse best?tigen die indirekte Wirkung des kundenorientierten Verkaufens auf die Kaufentscheidung über die Beratungszufriedenheit. Daneben k?nnen sowohl ein direkter umgekehrt u-f?rmiger Effekt der Vermeidung von Abschlussdruck auf die Kaufentscheidung als auch ein direkter negativer Einfluss des Aufbaus eines positiven Gespr?chsklimas auf die Kaufentscheidung nachgewiesen werden. Zudem zeigt sich, dass der Aufbau eines positiven Gespr?chsklimas den st?rksten Einfluss auf die Beratungszufriedenheit ausübt.

Can too much customer orientation be less effective? An analysis of the effects of customer-oriented selling on customers’ decision to buy

Summary  This research investigates the effects of customer-oriented selling on customers’ decision to buy. In so doing, the focus of the analysis is on the effects of the dimensions of customer-oriented selling, namely supporting customer decision-making, building a positive interaction climate, and avoiding pressure to close the sale. The findings of an empirical study support an indirect effect of customer-oriented selling on customers’ decision to buy through customer satisfaction with the sales interaction. The results also support a direct inverted u-shaped effect of avoiding pressure to close the sale on customers’ decision to buy as well as a direct negative effect of building a positive interaction climate on customers’ decision to buy. And building a positive interaction climate was found to have the strongest effect on customer satisfaction with the sales interaction.

紧急状态下个人信息保护的理论分析与制度探索 ——以健康码的应用为契机

为应对2020年肺炎紧急状态的蔓延,全国各个城市采取了一系列采集与登记公民个人信息的防控措施,以维护城市安全、社会稳定和公民健康。而这些防控措施背后存在着信息滥用的隐忧,如何平衡紧急状态与个人信息保护,社会上存在讨论和争议。有鉴于此,该文拟以健康码的应用为契点,结合我国《民法典》中新增个人信息保护的相关规定,分析提炼紧急状态下个人信息保护的特征和重点问题,提出完善我国紧急状态下个人信息保护制度的初步设想。     

基层商业银行人员性操作风险管控策略研究

操作风险广泛存在于银行经营管理的各个领域,是银行面临的基础风险之一。在某国有大型商业银行一级分行的内部调研和清查数据的实证调查研究基础上,发现人员因素引发的损失事件发生频率较高,风险程度较高;人员性操作风险具有普遍性、低频高危性和高频低危性等特点。人员素质是影响人员性操作风险管理的核心。关注员工行为特征、加强风险意识引导和技能培训、岗位匹配管理,以及做好应急预案是基层商业银行人员性操作风险管控的应对之策。     

辽宋西夏金时期族际饮食文化交流略论

辽宋西夏金时期,中国境内不同经济形态的各民族,在饮食文化相互交流的过程中,明显表现出农耕民族饮食与游牧民族饮食的交融。一方面,农耕民族以谷物食品为主的主食不但在游牧民族的日常生活中占据越来越重要的地位,而且副食、果品、饮品等对游牧民族也产生了广泛的影响。另一方面,作为游牧民族主食的乳肉制品,逐渐成为农耕民族的副食品种,游牧民族副食蔬果类的某些品种、饮食器具,尤其是合餐制的饮食方式对农耕民族也产生了不同程度的影响。同时,相同经济形态的民族,其饮食文化也往往各具特色,并在民族和地区间相互交流。饮食文化在日常生活中的族际交流,不但推动了各民族生活方式的发展和社会经济的进步,而且有力地促进了各民族相互认同意识的发展。

本文运用田野调查的方法,系统收集整理了四川省西昌市黄联客家方言岛的亲属称谓词。试从血亲、姻亲和其他关系三个方面来对黄联客家话亲属称谓词做一个系统的描写分析,并对其中部分称谓做了语音上的分析或传统文化含义的阐释。     

一个犹豫的写作者

我写诗的时间虽不短,但一直是在犹豫中写作,也似乎一直停留在学步的阶段。我从自己的写作中,也通过长期的阅读感受到,写作中的犹豫不仅具有个人意义,而且几乎是诗人要面对的普遍情境,甚至可以说是诗人命运中具有象征性的一部分。

国际航空旅客运输中精神损害赔偿的比较法探讨

在重视消费者利益、保护人权的大趋势下,精神损害赔偿成为各国适用1929年《统一国际航空运输某些规则公约》难以回避的理论难题。在大量的司法判例中,美国法院根据精神损害与身体损害的关系,逐步归纳出人身损害赔偿的若干类型,对纯精神损害也有所突破。这些判例被其他国家广泛借鉴,也势必会影响全新的1999年《蒙特利尔公约》的适用。
