大学生信仰宗教的成因分析及解决对策

宗教是一种客观存在的社会现象,作为一种重要的社会意识,受到了越来越多的关注,并借助互联网等现代化传播手段开始向高校扩散。大学生是国家重要的人才资源,他们的信仰问题至关重要。是既关系着他们个人的前途又关系到社会主义现代化事业的兴衰成败。因此,本文从五个方面分析了大学生信仰宗教的成因并提出解决的方法和对策。     

Do the regulatory standards require religious literacy of U.K. health and social care professionals?

Health and social care professionals need sufficient religious literacy in order to handle the complexities of religious beliefs and practices, including the growing numbers who identify with other belief systems and those who claim to identify with no religion. The extent to which the need for religious literacy has been formalized was examined in an analysis of regulatory frameworks for health and social care professionals in the United Kingdom. Although all but one of the regulators make some reference to religion and beliefs, they are silent on the question as to what is meant by religion and beliefs. Some standards include a requirement not to impose one's own beliefs on others, but there is very little requirement to develop a reflective and self‐critical awareness of one's own stance. Likewise, some standards refer to knowledge and skills required, but greater specificity is required for these to be meaningful.     

The negative impact of chameleon-inducing personalities on employees' ethical work intentions: The mediating role of Machiavellianism

Self-interested moves, such as manipulation and deception in interpersonal relationships with parties inside and outside the workplace, constitute a serious concern for management. Machiavellianism is often directly blamed for such ethical failures, but more generic individual differences, such as those linked to the use of chameleon-like approaches to match an immediate cultural or social environment (i.e., external locus of control, relativistic beliefs), may have indirect influences. Because these chameleon-inducing personalities may foster self-interested decisions, by prompting the abandonment of strict moral codes, this study investigates Machiavellianism as a potential mechanism by which these personalities relate negatively to ethical work intentions. The results, obtained with a sample of 436 banking employees from Spain, reveal that external locus of control and relativistic beliefs relate positively to Machiavellianism, and that Machiavellianism mediates the negative influence of chameleon-inducing personalities on ethical work intentions. The study thus provides novel information for managers interested in reducing employees’ Machiavellian tendencies and offers appropriate strategies for deterring their unethical work behaviors.

巫蛊、信仰与秩序的形成——以湘西M乡“中蛊”现象为例

本文从湘西自治州M乡的"中蛊"现象出发,重点讨论巫蛊信仰、巫蛊功能以及巫蛊规则等问题。通过田野调查及个案研究发现,巫蛊信仰应该被认为是一种内心的确信,这构成了巫蛊文化的心理基础。巫蛊具有社会整合和社会控制功能,巫蛊功能的发挥一方面依靠作为心理基础的巫蛊信仰,另一方面依靠具体的巫蛊规则。巫蛊规则符合"另类规范"的特征,应该被视为一种典型的"另类规范","另类规范"对于地方"小传统"社会秩序的形成及维系起着极为重要的作用。     

The Influence of Divorcing Mothers' Demeanor on Custody Evaluators' Assessment of Their Domestic Violence Allegations

A gap exists between empirical evidence demonstrating the risks posed by domestic violence (DV) and the weight that evidence is given by custody evaluators. This gap may result from common beliefs about DV that diminish or deny its seriousness, which include that mothers often make false allegations to gain advantage and that DV and high conflict are synonymous and do not require differential approaches. Using a multiple segment factorial vignette design, we systematically assessed how these beliefs influenced custody evaluators' (N = 603) recommendations and judgments of the believability of allegations. Mother's demeanor (i.e., hostile vs. pleasant) was the most consistent predictor of evaluators' recommendations and judgments of credibility. Findings have implications for providing research-based education and training for evaluators.
