Employee attitudes to work-based counselling services

Work-based counselling services have increasingly been introduced in organizational settings in the 1980s and 1990s. In this paper, a study is reported of the attitudes of 213 employees of a UK Health Authority towards an existing counselling service. Questionnaires sought information about attitudes to counselling, confidentiality, attitudes to those seeking counselling and general health. The results suggested that attitudes to work-based counselling services are predicted by employees' perceptions of those seeking counselling as trustworthy and their beliefs about the confidentiality of the service. The practical implications of these results are examined.

近年来,非营利组织在我国得到了迅猛的发展,然而其财务管理水平却严重滞后。文章通过对非营利组织财务问题的研究,认为非营利组织的财务管理应该是基于健全财务观的。健全财务观要求非营利组织公正地履行资产受托人的责任,更新财务理念,借鉴和使用企业财务管理的观念和方法,使得组织获取并有效使用资产,最大程度地实现组织的社会使命,并最终实现可持续健康发展。     

妨害公务罪的侵害对象问题探讨

妨害公务罪的侵害对象既包括具体人,也应当包括"具体物"。依据司法解释:国有事业单位人员和国家机关中事业编制人员可以作为妨害公务罪的侵害对象;但是,受委托从事公务的人员,居民委员会、村民委员会等群众性自治组织中的工作人员,国家机关工作人员的亲属和亲友等人员,则不能成为妨害公务罪的侵害对象。

中小企业集群在区域经济发展中的作用日益增强,政府为鼓励中小企业集群的发展也采取相应的政策和措施构建中小企业集群发展的服务中介体系.文章通过分析中小企业集群发展的动力机制,得出其服务中介体系的作用原理,进而从中介组织的角度研究中小企业集群的服务中介体系应具有的作用及其运作.     

Organizational “Emotion Work” Through Consciousness-Raising: An Analysis of a Feminist Organization

In this article I explore how organizational processes link to certain emotional responses, as a way of investigating more fully the role emotions play in social movements. Through the construction of a case study of a feminist group, the New York City chapter of the National Organization for Women (NYC NOW), I analyze how certain emotions, such as anger, alienation, hopelessness and frustration, are redefined within an organizational context. I find that consciousness-raising serves as the organizational process that helps transform personal emotions into a collectively defined sense of injustice. This transformation has the potential of creating actors dedicated to chapter activism.     

The effectiveness and specificity of change management in a public organization: Transformational leadership and a bureaucratic organizational structure

There is an extensive private sector literature on organizational change management. However, recent studies have suggested that the specific context of public organizations may have consequences for the management organizational change. This study examines to what extent different change approaches and transformational leadership of direct supervisors contribute to the effective implementation of organizational change in public organizations, and to what extent the bureaucratic structure of public organizations makes the implementation of organizational change s3pecific. The implementation of an organizational change in a Dutch public organization is studied using quantitative methods and techniques. The results indicate that bureaucratic organizations may effectively implement organizational change with both planned and emergent change approaches. The contribution of transformational leadership depends on the type of change approach and organizational structure. Transformational leadership behavior of direct supervisors contributes little to planned processes of change, but is crucial in emergent processes of change in a non-bureaucratic context. Although the literature on change management mostly emphasizes the leadership of senior managers, the leadership role of direct supervisors should not be overlooked during organizational change in public organizations.

政府购买社会组织服务是一项系统工程,既需要严密的程序管理,也需要精细的组织管理。北京市政府采用组团模式购买社会组织服务,即以政府购买项目领域为核心,整合社会组织资源,形成服务合力,共同承接政府购买项目。组团模式体现了北京市政府购买社会组织服务的组织管理创新,是一种社会网络形式。组团是购买服务的组织管理载体,在这个已经实体化的网络平台中,政府、社会组织包括支持性社会组织,以及企业、公民都有各自的角色安排。组团模式使购买服务的组织管理精细化,是北京市政府培育和支持社会组织的有效手段,提高了社会组织的自治能力,具有巨大的社会价值,从中可以探寻到社会治理多元主体结构的建构机制。     

非营利组织视角中的农村养老保险资金筹措与管理研究

文章通过对非营利组织介入我国农村养老保险资金筹措与管理的理论依据和必要性的分析,从非营利组织的视角出发,提出了如何建立健全我国农村养老保险资金筹措与管理机制的对策性建议。希望以此来推进我国社会主义新农村建设进程中的农村养老保险的改革与发展。     

Value drivers of social businesses: A business model perspective

Hybrid organizational forms that combine commercial and welfare institutional logics play an increasingly important role in addressing the grand societal challenges we face today. Building on the literatures on hybrid organizations and social business models, we explore the characteristics of social businesses from a business model perspective. This study seeks to better understand the particularities and value drivers of hybrid social purpose in contrast to purely commercial business models. We follow a grounded theory approach and our findings are based on interview data from 17 social business firms. Building on social businesses' identified particularities, we propose four value drivers of social business models: 1) responsible efficiency, 2) impact complementarities, 3) shared values, and 4) integration novelties. We link our findings to the literature, contributing new insights into social businesses models and implications for practitioners.
