Homeless violence and the informal rules of street life

Successful adaptation to street life requires that risk of violence, an often present aspect of this lifestyle, be reduced to as low a level as possible. This means knowing the informal rules which permit avoiding the pitfalls of street life. It is argued in this paper that safety and security are a function of interactions occurring within a specific place, with particular associates, and involving safe and unsafe behavior. Carelessness with respect to any of these factors can result in victimization. These issues are discussed using survey and ethnographic data collected in Chattanooga.     

试论低碳生活方式的实现路径

低碳生活是随着工业经济的发展,气候变暖,生态环境恶化和全球气候灾害问题日益凸显而提出来的。低碳生活是低碳经济发展的必然产物也是人自身发展和身心和谐的内在要求。文章在分析低碳生活方式特点的基础上,从社会制度政策环境,低碳消费文化氛围,科技伦理的导向作用和主体生态道德内化等主客观两方面来探求实现低碳生活方式的路径,目的是为了使简约、本真、健康的绿色生活方式极大的普及,实现人与人、人与自然的和谐发展。     

Ten Thousand Tonga: A Longitudinal Anthropological Study from Southern Zambia, 1956–1991

The Gwembe Study was launched in 1956 to monitor the responses of 57,000 Tonga-speakers from the Middle Zambezi Valley to involuntary relocation. Since then, periodic censuses and frequent field visits have generated a wide variety of information. This article examines the demography of four Gwembe Tonga villages from 1956 to 1991, a period characterized first by relocation, then prosperity, and finally by economic hardship. White nuptiality does not respond significantly to socio-economic trends, marital fertility falls sharply during relocation, rebounds with the onset of prosperity, and decreases slowly during the most recent decade of economic hardship. Mortality of the very young and old is also sensitive to such changes. There is striking excess male mortality in all periods, especially among male infants and in particular male twins. The sex ratio at ‘birth’ is 92. This abnormal sex ratio at birth may be the result of conscious sex preference favouring females.     

全域城市化的理论解析和实践探索

在阐述全域城市化的内涵后,从城市社会学视角对全域城市化进行理论解析。结合大连市的实例,探讨全域城市化的推进方略,并提出全域城市化过程中需要注意的主要问题。指出全域城市化的实质已经超越传统的城市化的理论界定,是在中国现代城市规划中,结合了城市文化学说、政治经济学说和创新型城市发展动力学说等理论的实践。     

互联网使用与家庭间接碳排放:测度及影响因素分析

面临全球气候变暖和能源短缺的双重危机，我国在明确提出“双碳”目标后，党的二十大报告再次强调了绿色低碳产业和绿色低碳生活方式在实现高质量发展中的关键作用。在此背景下，深入探讨家庭这一重要能耗部门的能源消费及其碳排放状况，对于探寻家庭碳减排的有效路径具有重要意义。本文以占据家庭主要能源消耗的间接用能为代表，以中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据为基础，基于消费生活方式法测度了家庭间接碳排放量，并通过构建双向固定效应模型实证分析了互联网使用对家庭碳排放的影响；在此基础上，采用中介效应模型和Bootstrap法共同验证了互联网使用影响家庭间接碳排放的作用路径；并进一步基于家庭所在地区、城乡类别以及收入水平差异这三个视角，探讨了互联网使用对家庭间接碳排放的异质性影响。研究发现：首先，互联网使用正向促进了家庭间接碳排放，对享受型消费碳排放和发展型消费碳排放的增加效应最为显著，而对生存型消费碳排放则没有明显的影响。其次，互联网使用主要通过网络购物这一中介变量对家庭间接碳排放产生正向影响。最后，异质性分析表明：互联网使用对东部、中部以及西部地区家庭的间接碳排放均有显著的正向影响，且作用强度从中部、西部到东...
