男性意识与文学性征

20世纪末至21世纪初,中国社会步入一个性别意识多元发展时期,文本因此呈现不同的性征。其中男性意识在文本中铺展成三个并行的方面:一、阳刚气质的暧昧内涵;二、男权中心的沦落;三、男性文化的失语。这三个方面共同勾勒了男性意识在上世纪末到本世纪初的陨落过程。     

Law,love and being in relation

ABSTRACT

This article takes up Agozino's call for love. Yet this call is not a straightforward one. In response, I press for an appreciation of love which avoids collapsing love into 'protection', engaging instead with the Aboriginal World View described by Kombumerri and Wakka Wakka woman and scholar, Mary Graham, as a form of conduct, reflection and a practice in listening. Through two quite distinct stories offered by young people in their encounters with Australia's criminal justice system, I explore the ethics of listening and respectful relations in social and institutional settings. While the first story reveals the denial of colonial violence accompanying protectionist policies for the ‘care' of Indigenous communities, the second story shows how such patterns of denial underpin western ‘justice' systems, including for settler peoples. Responding to Agozino’s call requires that we examine the ethical act of listening and reflect on the repercussions of the failure to listen.     

Fostering global dialogue: Conceptualisations of children's rights to participation and protection

The children's rights and child protection sectors are at a critical juncture: will they evolve to reflect and respond to changing conceptualisations in the 21st century or will they continue to reproduce 19th- and 20th-century preoccupations with saving child victims? Informed by systematic reviews of the English- and Latin American academic literature in Spanish and Portuguese and key informant interviews with international stakeholders, this paper fosters global dialogue with some Global South and Global North perspectives about the interconnections of children's rights. It explores current conceptualisations of child participation and protection, and concludes that children's rights will only progress after recognition of limitations inherent to current conceptualisations.     

A systematic review of studies on ethnic minority youth development in Hong Kong: an application of the ecological framework

Abstract

Ethnic minority young people play a significant role in the socio-economic growth of an ageing society with a decreasing fertility rate. The successful social integration of individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds within a society is a core value of the social work profession. This study examines the understanding of ethnic minority youth development in Hong Kong using a systematic review methodology. Risk prevention and positive promotion factors were identified using Bronfenbrenner’s ecological framework. Articles were searched through multiple databases in English, and 36 academic articles were reviewed. These studies mainly examined the risks of academic failure of these students in Hong Kong while few focused on the positive directions of multidimensional youth development. Future social work research and practice should examine positive youth development for ethnic minorities which can inform social work practice in Hong Kong and within other East Asian traditionally ethnically homogeneous societies undergoing significant changes in ethnic diversity.     

贫困农村大龄未婚男青年的婚恋窘境分析——基于河南S村的实地研究

随着性别失衡社会影响与后果的逐步显现,贫困农村大龄未婚男青年面临婚恋窘境,俨然已经成为一个不容回避的现实问题。选择河南S村作为调研地,对该村20位大龄未婚男青年进行深入访谈,结果发现：该村大龄未婚男青年扎堆现象明显,面临严重择偶拥挤;婚姻攀比盛行,高额婚姻支付较为普遍;屡次遭受相亲失败,承受较大精神压力;长期处于单身状态,择偶标准大大降低。导致该村大龄未婚男青年面临如此窘境的原因主要集中在地理位置环境、家庭经济条件、自身文化水平以及农村传统观念等方面,为此,需要从加快农村经济建设、大力发展交通事业、强化综合技能培训、平衡男女性别比例以及加强青年心理疏导等方面入手,以缓解农村大龄未婚男青年的择偶难题。     

Nonformal education for improving educational outcomes for street children and street youth in developing countries: A systematic review

Tens of millions of children and youth (up to 24 years of age) live and work on the streets of developing countries. Most of them are forced to leave formal education. As a potential solution, nonformal education (NFE) interventions have spread worldwide. However, no previous attempt has been made to address the state of evidence regarding effectiveness studies of NFE for street children and youth. This review addresses this gap by conducting the first systematic review concerning the effectiveness of NFE for improving educational outcomes for street children and street youth. The search was conducted in 35 structured electronic databases and numerous organizations and experts were also contacted. The screening of 9,271 titles resulted in the identification of zero prospective effectiveness studies with a counterfactual. Lessons are drawn from the highest quality excluded studies to inform future evaluations that seek to address this knowledge gap. Key Practitioner Message: ● Practitioners should implement comparable intake and monitoring assessments to track changes consistently over time; ● Programs informed by critical pedagogy and empowerment‐based approaches may improve behavioral outcomes; ● Programs that work with street children and street youth should clarify how they identify their target population.     

大学生异性交往与性别角色认知

大学生异性交往对于大学生自我认同、自我同一感建立,健全人格的完善具有特殊的推动作用,而当今大学生在异性交往中存在一些困扰问题。本文结合干预团体实务,从性别角色认知的角度解析大学生异性交往所产生的困惑,认为性别角色认知对大学生异性交往产生着重要影响。     

配偶权若干问题研究

在现代社会背景下考察配偶权,应当注意近代以来自由、平等和妇女解放等理念对法律制度改造之力,摆脱配偶权为支配权的传统看法,将配偶权定性为配偶双方平等享有的关于身份利益的请求权,任何一方仅得请求对方作为或不作为,即其内容包括同居请求权和贞操保持请求权,以及对应的同居义务和忠实义务。配偶权同时具有对人效力和对世效力;由于过错侵害配偶权的,应当依法承担法律责任。     

Thoughts on the nature of identity: how disorders of sex development inform clinical research about gender identity disorders

Disorders of sex development (DSD), like gender dysphoria, are conditions with major effects on child sexuality and identity, as well as sexual orientation. Each may in some cases lead to change of gender from that assigned neonatally. These similarities-and the conditions' differences-provide a context for reviewing the articles in this issue about clinical approaches to children with gender dysphoria, in relation to assessment, intervention, and ethics.
