港澳台女子高等教育的历史与现状

文章以翔实的数字和严谨的分析 ,对港澳台地区女子高等教育的历史、发展状况与现存的问题进行研究 ,揭示出女性高等教育发展的动力与障碍 ,呼吁社会面对女子高等教育中存在的诸多需要关注、深思和逐步解决的问题。     

从新时期银屏女性形象看妇女解放

在以男性为中心的社会里 ,女性的价值往往通过她们所依附的男性来体现。影视作品的文化视角 ,大多数通过人与人之间的外部冲突 ,提出妇女解放最基本的问题是人身的解放。然而在两种文化碰撞、交融的现代社会 ,妇女必须在人身解放的基础上 ,进一步地实现思想观念和精神世界的解放。影视作品则从表现人们内心冲突及人与社会的冲突这一文化视角 ,展示了妇女解放的图景     

在闺阁文学和青楼文学的交叉坐标上——元杂剧妇女形象新论

该文主要从儒家文化和市井文化的角度来论述元杂剧的妇女形象。元杂剧的部分妇女形象是传统闺阁文学和元代青楼文学交叉坐标上的产物，是既有传统妇女美德、又突破传统妇女某些思想局限的光彩照人的妇女形象。当然，由于青楼文学的影响，元杂剧的部分妇女形象也有失真、庸俗的一面。     

从《醒世姻缘传》看明清妇女的朝山进香

《醒世姻缘传》反映了明清之际山东地区的社会风俗 ,其中对妇女朝山进香多有描述。本文依据书 ,结合相关史料 ,认为明清时期妇女朝山进香是较为普遍的社会现象。她们多随香会出行 ,或祈福还愿 ,或游山玩水 ,游历所及遍及宗教圣地和名山大寺。这种活动虽遭到统治阶级及维护礼教人士的禁止和反对 ,但却屡禁不止 ,反映了一种新的社会风尚     

西部大中型企业围绝经期妇女心理状况研究--以成都飞机工业集团公司为例

文章认为,西部大中型企业要实现企业的可持续发展,一个重要的举措是必须充分重视围绝经期妇女心理健康,并主动做好围绝经期妇女的保健工作,使企业人力资源得到合理、有效的利用。为此,我们以西部成都飞机工业集团公司围绝经期妇女为对象展开调查与研究。(1)对象:2005年8月到2005年11月成都飞机工业集团接受调查的围绝经期妇女;(2)方法:测查工具采用SCL-90;利用大学生心理测评软件(北京航空航天大学王建中编制)及SPSS13.0 For Windows进行统计处理;(3)结果:7.91%进入围绝经期妇女的心理健康状况较为严重,与其他年龄段相比,52.42岁左右的妇女心理健康水平最低。(4)结论:对于人力资源相对匮乏的西部大中型企业来讲,要实现企业的可持续发展,必须在充分重视围绝经期妇女心理健康的基础上做好围绝经期妇女的保健工作。     

A Feminist Analysis of Flight of Abused Women, Plight of Canadian Shelters: Another Road to Homelessness

The paper explores the link between women abuse and homelessness. Although the examples are drawn from Canada, the argument is that the plight of abused women is similar throughout North America. First, I discuss the stereotypes about homelessness and the conservative governments' stance toward the homeless. Second, I introduce abuse of women as another road to homelessness. Third, I review the literature on dependent children from abusive homes as victims and witnesses who need social protection. Fourth, I establish the important role shelters play for women fleeing abusive relationships, by tracing the history of shelters. The tenuous position of the shelters in relation to conservative governments is emphasized. The paper ends with the consequences of fear of homelessness for women and their children, and the public policy implications of the close link between abuse and homelessness.     

Multiple Social Roles — a Resource or a Burden: Is it Possible for Men and Women to Combine Paid Work with Family Life in a Satisfactory Way?

The aim of this article is to study whether multiple social roles can be seen as a resource or a burden, or in other words, if a strong engagement in both paid work and family life is a positive or negative experience for men and women respectively. The main data used are a data set from Statistics Sweden, the so‐called ULF (the study of living conditions), in which nearly 30,000 randomly selected individuals were interviewed. When analysing how the combined family and labour market situation is related to the number of preferred working hours and psychological distress of individuals, the results show that it is primarily cohabiting women with children who work more than 40 hours per week, who want to reduce their working hours. However, the distress level is not relatively high for this category. Results indicate that many women, and some men, who have multiple social roles express a wish to reduce their working hours, but this does not necessarily mean that the levels of distress are higher for these groups. This may be a result of the fact that the alternative resources provided by multiple social roles in some sense outweigh the stressful effects that double demands have on psychological distress.
