For more than a decade, graphs have been used to model the voting behavior taking place in parliaments. However, the methods described in the literature suffer from several limitations. The two main ones are that 1) they rely on some temporal integration of the raw data, which causes some information loss; and/or 2) they identify groups of antagonistic voters, but not the context associated with their occurrence. In this article, we propose a novel method taking advantage of multiplex signed graphs to solve both these issues. It consists in first partitioning separately each layer, before grouping these partitions by similarity. We show the interest of our approach by applying it to a European Parliament dataset.  相似文献

国内关于图书馆焦虑的研究已经开展多年,并取得一定的研究成果。以我国图书馆焦虑的研究文献的关键词为统计对象,基于共词分析,利用聚类方法和战略坐标图分析我国在该领域的研究现状。结果表明,目前该领域的研究集中于读者自身、图书馆环境和图书馆员三大因素的研究,从理论上研究图书馆焦虑起因的关注度在降低,图书馆焦虑缓解措施的可行性和有效性研究比较缺乏。最后给出了该领域在下一步研究中的可能方向,供研究人员参考。  相似文献

In this article, we consider clustering based on principal component analysis (PCA) for high-dimensional mixture models. We present theoretical reasons why PCA is effective for clustering high-dimensional data. First, we derive a geometric representation of high-dimension, low-sample-size (HDLSS) data taken from a two-class mixture model. With the help of the geometric representation, we give geometric consistency properties of sample principal component scores in the HDLSS context. We develop ideas of the geometric representation and provide geometric consistency properties for multiclass mixture models. We show that PCA can cluster HDLSS data under certain conditions in a surprisingly explicit way. Finally, we demonstrate the performance of the clustering using gene expression datasets.  相似文献

针对传统基于判断矩阵的专家模糊核聚类赋权方法,由于归一化条件的制约,导致离群点对聚类结果产生不良影响的问题,提出一种改进型模糊核聚类算法。该方法在聚类过程中,通过放宽归一化约束条件,削弱离群点对聚类结果的影响;并且针对传统基于信息熵与一致性系数线性耦合的聚类标准的局限性,提出一种基于偏差熵的赋权方法,依据专家对自身类别的聚类贡献度,确定专家权重,克服了传统方法的不足。算例表明,该方法可行、有效。  相似文献

Although basketball is a dynamic process sport, played between two sides of five players each, learning some static information is essential for professional players, coaches, and team managers. In order to have a deep understanding of field goal attempts among different players, we propose a zero-inflated Poisson model with clustered regression coefficients to learn the shooting habits of different players over the court and the heterogeneity among them. Specifically, the zero-inflated model captures a large portion of the court with zero field goal attempts, and the mixture of finite mixtures model captures the heterogeneity among different players based on clustered regression coefficients and inflated probabilities. Both theoretical and empirical justification through simulation studies validate our proposed method. We apply our proposed model to data from the National Basketball Association (NBA), for learning players' shooting habits and heterogeneity among different players over the 2017–2018 regular season. This illustrates our model as a way of providing insights from different aspects.  相似文献

In a randomized controlled trial (RCT), it is possible to improve precision and power and reduce sample size by appropriately adjusting for baseline covariates. There are multiple statistical methods to adjust for prognostic baseline covariates, such as an ANCOVA method. In this paper, we propose a clustering-based stratification method for adjusting for the prognostic baseline covariates. Clusters (strata) are formed only based on prognostic baseline covariates, not outcome data nor treatment assignment. Therefore, the clustering procedure can be completed prior to the availability of outcome data. The treatment effect is estimated in each cluster, and the overall treatment effect is derived by combining all cluster-specific treatment effect estimates. The proposed implementation of the procedure is described. Simulations studies and an example are presented.  相似文献

For a higher education public institution, young in relative terms, featuring local competition with another private and both long-established and reputed one, it is of great importance to become a reference university institution to be better known and felt with identification in the society it belongs to and ultimately to reach a good position within the European Higher Education Area. These considerations have made the university governors setting up the objective of achieving an adequate management of the university institutional brand focused on its logo and on image promotion, leading to the establishment of a university shop as it is considered a highly adequate instrument for such promotion. In this context, an on-line survey is launched on three different kinds of members of the institution, resulting in a large data sample. Different kinds of variables are analysed through appropriate exploratory multivariate techniques (symmetrical methods) and regression-related techniques (non-symmetrical methods). An advocacy for such combination is given as a conclusion. The application of statistical techniques of data and text mining provides us with empirical insights about the institution members’ perceptions and helps us to extract some facts valuable to establish policies that would improve the corporate identity and the success of the corporate shop.  相似文献

函数型数据的稀疏性和无穷维特性使得传统聚类分析失效。针对此问题,本文在界定函数型数据概念与内涵的基础上提出了一种自适应迭代更新聚类分析。首先,基于数据参数信息实现无穷维函数空间向有限维多元空间的过渡;在此基础上,依据变量信息含量的差异构建了自适应赋权聚类统计量,并依此为函数型数据的相似性测度进行初始类别划分;进一步地,在给定阈值限制下,对所有函数的初始类别归属进行自适应迭代更新,将收敛的优化结果作为最终的类别划分。随机模拟和实证检验表明,与现有的同类函数型聚类分析相比,文中方法的分类正确率显著提高,体现了新方法的相对优良性和实际问题应用中的有效性。  相似文献

在Web2.0时代,越来越多的消费者在购物网站、点评类网站以及社交类网站上发表自己对产品或服务的相关看法,由此对企业产生了巨大的影响。针对用户在线评论行为所产生的价值,以传统的RFM模型为基础构建了基于评论行为的RFMP模型。同时将购买RFM和评论RFMP模型进行结合,提出了适用于线上企业的客户终身价值评价方法,采用熵值法进行了指标权重的确定,并最终选取大众点评网的实际用户数据进行了传统客户终身价值与改进客户终身价值的对比。通过对用户群进行细分,为企业提供了更加精准的营销决策及管理建议。  相似文献

The self-updating process (SUP) is a clustering algorithm that stands from the viewpoint of data points and simulates the process how data points move and perform self-clustering. It is an iterative process on the sample space and allows for both time-varying and time-invariant operators. By simulations and comparisons, this paper shows that SUP is particularly competitive in clustering (i) data with noise, (ii) data with a large number of clusters, and (iii) unbalanced data. When noise is present in the data, SUP is able to isolate the noise data points while performing clustering simultaneously. The property of the local updating enables SUP to handle data with a large number of clusters and data of various structures. In this paper, we showed that the blurring mean-shift is a static SUP. Therefore, our discussions on the strengths of SUP also apply to the blurring mean-shift.  相似文献
