Graph productivity change measure using the least distance to the pareto-efficient frontier in data envelopment analysis

This paper proposes a new method to measure productivity change of decision making units in the full input-output space. The new approach is based on the calculation of the least distance to the Pareto-efficient frontier and hence provides the closest targets for evaluated decision making units to reach the strongly efficient frontier with least effort. Another advantage of the new methodology is that it always leads to feasible solutions. The productivity change in the new approach is operationalized as a Luenberger-type indicator in the Data Envelopment Analysis framework and it is decomposed into efficiency change and technical change. The paper empirically illustrates the new method using recent data on the Spanish quality wine sector.     

就业半径、就业机会、社会关系网络与农村劳动力转移

农村劳动力转移是解决我国“三农”问题的重要途径，也是我国城镇化推进的必然环节。基于2007－2009年2291份调查问卷②所建立的固定效应Probit模型及实证分析显示：就业半径、就业机会、社会关系网络等代表地理距离和非地理距离的变量对农村劳动力转移均有显著影响，是促进或制约农村劳动力转移的重要因素，其中社会关系网络的作用尤其值得关注。该研究对促进农村劳动力有序、平稳、持续地向城镇转移，以及城镇化道路的推进路径，具有一定的借鉴意义。     

苏轼躬耕力田思想探析

由于贬谪时期生活困窘、经济困难，因而苏轼以躬耕接济。而艰苦的贬谪生活也使苏轼心仪于虽处穷困但能够清洁自守的陶渊明，并进一步从他的身上汲取了独立自由、躬耕自守的高洁品格，从而使自己的人生更为旷达洒脱。通过亲身的躬耕体验，加之对生活的观察思考，也使苏轼认识到了适量劳动的养生价值。也正是基于这三方面的原因，苏轼才能更好地博采众长，兼收并蓄，融会各家精华。     

新中国初期厂矿、企业中的劳动保险

无论是从党的性质，还是从政权的性质来说，工人阶级作为一个阶级在新中国的地位都是至高无上的。那么，在执政之初，首先考虑和满足这一阶级的利益，就成为中共的应有之义，具体表现在工人的劳动保险方面，先是维持原有的，进而再实行新的，并在新中国成立的第二年就推出了《劳动保险条例》。条例的颁布和实行，充满了浓厚的政治色彩，社会事业和群众运动杂揉在一起，虽然取得了预期的效果，但也造成了一些意想不到的问题。     

The challenges to the liberal trading system

Free trade has been a universally accepted economic tenet for almost two centuries. Despite challenges, Ricardo's theory of comparative advantage has proven to be one of the most enduring of all economic laws. In recent decades, however, the liberal trading system has come under increasing attacks in the form of strategic trade and industrial policies, the deindustrialization in advanced countries, rapid globalization and outsourcing, and others. This paper reviews each of these attacks and concludes that they do not justify abandoning or moving away from the general preference of a liberal trading system.

在当今社会，底层总是极力向上层社会攀爬。但在威利斯的《学习劳动》中，我们看到了不一样的运动。《学习劳动》中所分析的这个学校的底层学生，在反抗学校主流文化中，极力保持自己的身份认同，甚至甘愿维持自己的从属地位。这为我们理解复杂的青年文化提供了一个案例。

从基本的渗流理论(保角变换、镜像反映、叠加原理等理论)出发,推导出了三种水平井九点井网产能计算公式,并与电解模型实验结果进行了对比验证。结果表明,计算公式具有一定的精度,完全可以满足工程的需要。     

The labor market effects of national health insurance: evidence from Taiwan

This paper investigates the impacts of national health insurance on the labor market, by considering the case of Taiwan, which implemented national health insurance in March 1995. Taiwan’s national health insurance is financed by premiums, which are proportional to an employee’s salary. These premiums may introduce distortions to the labor market. Based on repeated cross-sections of individual data we find that, on average, private sector employees’ work hours declined relative to their public sector counterparts, whereas their relative wage rates were almost unchanged with the introduction of national health insurance. The results suggest that neither private sector employers nor their employees were able to shift their premium burden to each other.      

The workflow system and its applications

Recent information technological advances have led to the workflow system that provides an effective technical solution for productivity improvement and business process reengineering. Workflow is a network of activities, also commonly known as a business process, defined for a specific business objective. The fundamental principle of workflow technology is the separation of business process from (software) applications and data. This implies a flexible, adaptable system that can support dynamic business changes. This flexibility, however, is not built upon complexity. Instead, the system should be easily modified for a new business environment. On the other hand, a good workflow system facilitates individual tasks, and collectively the entire business process by providing accurate inputs (data, forms tools) and effective routing control. Workflow technology has a wide range of applications and, when appropriately implemented, can increase productivity, reduce operating costs, improve response to customer requests and shorten the business process cycle. A great opportunity for a company is in evidence to advance its competition edge to a new level through implementation of workflow technology in the next few years. This paper discusses workflow environments, system components, architecture, integrated applications for external program execution, and future trends.     

企业员工责任对我国企业劳动关系影响的实证研究

近几年来，企业社会责任越来越引起人们的关注，企业社会责任作为一个重要的因素，推动着企业劳动关系建设与和谐社会建设。但是，很多企业在对外宣称履行社会责任的同时，员工的合法权益并没有得到保障，企业内部各种劳动争议案件也时有发生。文章从企业对员工责任的角度，通过实证分析试图找出对劳动关系起到关键作用的因素，提醒企业重视履行企业最基本的社会责任——企业对员工的责任，从而有利于企业劳动关系建设。
