论大学英语水平统一测试的优越性

我国现行有两套考试系统用以测试大学英语水平:大学英语46、级考试(CET-4/6)用来衡量非英语专业学生的英语水平,而英语专业48、级(TEM-4/8)考试则用来测评英语专业学生的英语水平。依据Bachman和Palmer语言测试原则,为了保证语言测试的有效性,语言测试任务应该与语言应用任务相对应,这种对应是语言测试的出发点和目的。既然如此,对于非母语的中国大学生而言,就没有必要以英语专业或非英语专业的区分用不同的测试来区分他们的英语水平。从这一点出发,完全可以将现行测试非英语专业学生CET-4/6和测试英语专业学生的TEM-4/8合二为一。问卷调查分析也表明,实行全国大学英语统一测试比分成两套考试系统的英语测试更具优越性。     

The Robustness of Trend Stationarity: An Illustration with the Extended Nelson-Plosser Dataset

We re-evaluate Andreu and Spanos's findings in favour of trend stationarity by considering the extended Nelson-Plosser data set. This expanded (to 1988) data set includes a period of rather different behaviour compared with the original Nelson-Plosser data used by Andreou and Spanos. We find that Andreou and Spanos's models (with only minor adjustments) exhibit remarable stability over this extended period, and indicate that their conclusions are more robust than they have shown.

Testing symmetry under a skew Laplace model

We develop tests of hypothesis about symmetry based on samples from possibly asymmetric Laplace distributions and present exact and limiting distribution of the test statistics. We postulate that the test statistic derived under the Laplace model is a rational choice as a measure of skewness and can be used in testing symmetry for other, quite general classes of skew distributions. Our results are applied to foreign exchange rates for 15 currencies.     

物流成本对国际贸易影响的实证分析

多年来中美贸易发展迅速 ,美国成为我国主要出口国家。当今形势下 ,物流成本成为影响中美贸易的主要因素 ;借助计量经济学方法 ,定量地探讨了物流成本对两国贸易尤其是我国出口贸易的影响。     

人民币汇率波动与贸易收支的协整分析

本文研究的是1985-2004年我国的进出口价格的需求弹性。首先给出了进出口价格需求弹性理论说明,接着通过平稳性检验、协整检验、建立误差修正模型等方法,分别对进口相对价格需求弹性和出口相对价格需求弹性进行实证检验。分析表明在我国ML条件成立,人民币汇率波动对我国进出口有显著的影响。

On Rao score and PearsonX 2 statistics in generalized linear models

The identity of the Rao score and PearsonX ² statistics is well known in the areas where the latter was first introduced: goodness-of-fit in contingency tables and binary responses. We show in this paper that the same identity holds when the two statistics are used for testing goodness-of-fit of Generalized Linear Models. We also highlight the connections that exist between the two statistics when they are used for the comparison of nested models. Finally, we discuss some merits of these unifying results. 本文通过对当前国内外语教育形式的综览 ,指出了外语专业的题库建设已成为当务之急 ,并通过对各种考试形式的分析 ,提出了外语题库建设的具体理论模式———以项目反应理论为基础的计算机自适应测试。文章就有关方面的实施提出了自己的看法。
