民间传统文化的现代命运

在世界范围内,民间传统文化曾经与现代民族国家建设产生深刻联系,并不断被知识精英所主导的主流意识形态所利用和改造。在那些还处于贫困状态的地区,人们更多地保留传统习俗和生活方式,这是保持其社会内部和谐、避免混乱的一种文化选择行为。这本来是同一个社会的一部分人的权利,他们也感到传承文化的义务。开展文明对话,倡导文化多样性,这是在全球化背景下人类对自身社会文化的反思。在这一前提下,民间传统文化的保护,从根本上说是尊重民众的历史创造;民众意识到的保护是根本的保护。     

从语言构成角度看跨文化交往

探讨了不同文化交往得以实现的基础，语言之间的交往和互译构成最为重要的基础性条件。认为，传统的语言之间同一性假设是存在限制的，也就是说，不同语言所指的同一性首先应该承认语言之间的差异性，这个差异性同时是基于不同的文化规定的。文化差异的形成往往是经过特定的语言系统来确认的。对在语言教学特别是外语教学中的语言差异，以及透过这样的差异所产生的文化差异和关系做了一些分析和探讨。     

上市公司跨行业转型风险分析与评价

跨行业转型是企业发展过程中的战略选择,是企业保持持续发展或克服衰退重新获得竞争优势的重要手段,但跨行业转型在给企业带来发展机会的同时也带来巨大的风险。在转型决策时,识别风险因素,分析风险因素的作用过程,判断风险发生的可能性和发生时可能带来的损失,可以减少转型风险。本研究采取分步多层模糊综合评价方法反映转型风险的作用过程和风险因素间的不同层次,并用该方法对转型过程的风险进行了综合评价。     

Do Parents of Girls Have a Higher Risk of Divorce? An Eighteen‐Country Study

Using data from the June 1980 Current Population Survey, Morgan, Lye, and Condran (1988) reported that families with a daughter have a higher divorce risk than families with a son. They attribute this finding to the higher involvement of fathers in raising a son, which in turn promotes marital stability. We investigate the relation between gender composition of children and parents’ divorce risk with cross‐national data from the Fertility and Family Survey. These data, which cover 16 European countries, Canada, and the United States, do not support a general hypothesis that sons contribute more to marital stability than daughters.

英汉店铺名称系统的语言特征与文化内涵

从语言学、心理学和跨文化交际的角度看,英汉店铺名称用语的语言和文化特征明显不同。由此可以看出,店铺名称不仅是一种具有识别功能的符号系统,而且是一种反映东、西方民族特征的社会文化现象。     

Nonparametric estimation of discrete hazard functions

A smoothing procedure for discrete time failure data is proposed which allows for the inclusion of covariates. This purely nonparametric method is based on discrete or continuous kernel smoothing techniques that gives a compromise between the data and smoothness. The method may be used as an exploratory tool to uncover the underlying structure or as an alternative to parametric methods when prediction is the primary objective. Confidence intervals are considered and alternative techniques of cross validation based choices of smoothing parameters are investigated.     

国际化背景下中医教育跨文化理解的障碍与策略

中医教育走向国际是中医教育发展的趋势和目标。由于中医、西医具有不同的理论体系、认知思维方式和价值观,中医教育走向国际必然面对一个重要命题：如何让外国人更准确地认知、理解、认同中医的医学、医术、医道,推动中医及其文化价值的国际传播,促进世界医学的发展。本文立足跨文化的视角,通过外国留学生的眼睛来问诊中医教育国际理解的困境与出路。     

Optimal block designs for double cross experiments

ABSTRACT

This paper presents systematic methods of construction of optimal block designs for a double cross experiments for both even and odd values of “p” parental lines. The both even and odd values of designs are derived by using initial block of unreduced balanced incomplete block designs and initial block of row–column designs given by Bose et al. (1953 Bose, R.C., Shrikhande, S.S., Bhattacharya, K.N. (1953). On the construction of group divisible incomplete block design. Ann. Math. Stat. 24:167–195.[Crossref] , [Google Scholar]) and Gupta and Choi (1998 Gupta, S., Choi, K.C. (1998). Optimal row-column designs for complete diallel crosses. Commun. Stat. Theory Methods 27(11):2827–2835.[Taylor & Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]), respectively. In this attempt we have found some new universally optimal block designs for double cross experiments.     

Shrinkage ridge regression in partial linear models

ABSTRACT

In this paper, shrinkage ridge estimator and its positive part are defined for the regression coefficient vector in a partial linear model. The differencing approach is used to enjoy the ease of parameter estimation after removing the non parametric part of the model. The exact risk expressions in addition to biases are derived for the estimators under study and the region of optimality of each estimator is exactly determined. The performance of the estimators is evaluated by simulated as well as real data sets.
