自媒体环境下大学生网络媒介素养“六位一体”能力建构模式

自媒体的出现引发了信息传播的变革.自媒体以其门槛低、个性化、交互强等特点受到了众多大学生的追捧,给大学生的学习、生活带来了新的契机、资源和路径,也给大学生的网络媒介素养提出了新要求.自媒体环境下大学生网络媒介素养的提高需要以网络媒介素养理论为基础,结合自媒体的传播特点,从理论研究、师资建设、教育课程、法制建设、实践平台、家校协作等方面构建“六位一体”的网络媒介素养教育模式.     

Elementary ELA/Social Studies Integration: Challenges and Limitations

Adding instructional time and holding teachers accountable for teaching social studies are touted as practical, logical steps toward reforming the age-old tradition of marginalization. This qualitative case study of an urban elementary school, examines how nine teachers and one administrator enacted district reforms that added 45 minutes to the instructional day and implemented a series of formative and summative assessments. Each participant was treated as a particular case and a within-case analysis was used. Through classroom observations, interviews, time journals, and official school documents, I describe underlying perceptions and priorities that were barriers to any positive impact time or testing might have afforded social studies. Findings suggest that scheduled or mandated ELA/social studies integration does not always materialize and there are reasons for this gap.     

Literacy education,reading engagement,and library use in multilingual classes

The topic of this paper is literacy education and reading engagement in multilingual classes. What facilitates reading engagement in the language of instruction in multilingual classes? In this paper, we analyze reading engagement in a literature-based literacy program in Norway (2007–2011). The design was a research and development project in which teachers, researchers, and librarians collaborated within literacy education. We present pedagogical interventions within the project and analyze subsequent reading engagement among the students, based on a survey. The survey documented that the overwhelming majority of students were engaged readers two years into the project, measured by the students’ amount and frequency of voluntary reading, their attitudes towards reading and library use. The findings indicate that reading engagement in the language of instruction among both first- and second-language learners was facilitated by literature-based literacy education, nonsegregated educational provisions and use of library resources. The study shows that literature-based literacy education may reduce possible negative effects of low socioeconomic status and linguistic minority background on reading engagement in the language of instruction. This requires literacy education, which gives students extensive access to books, voluntary reading of fiction and facts and sharing of literacy events and library use.     

“浅阅读”潮流下网络原创文学的媒介素养教育

采取文献研究的方法,由媒介素养教育角度出发,论述了网络原创文学是当代“浅阅读”潮流中的一股中坚力量,但其中充斥着肤浅化和庸俗化的倾向。针对这一问题,提出了针对网络原创文学而言,大众应有意识地提高自己的媒介批判精神和思辨能力,以此来应对网络原创文学在“浅阅读”风潮下所带来的负面影响。     

论当前高校中国画教学的尴尬与应对

中国画是体现中国传统精神的重要艺术形式,也是美术类院系的重要课程,而当下过于强调技法传授,造成了中国画教学的观念滞后。分析了造成当前高校中国画教学尴尬局面的原因,比较了传统中国画教育与现代中国画教育的教学模式。提出了人文价值和人文内涵的投入与培养;有计划地理顺管理制度;树立学生正确的艺术价值观、责任感;建立传承与革新的合理教学体系;明确中国画创作与教学的学术重要性;营造良好的艺术教育氛围等解决当前高校中国画教学尴尬局面的重要措施。     

河北省大学生信息素质教育培养模式研究

通过随机问卷调查和对河北省大学生信息素质的现状分析与理性思考,提出了网络环境下的大学信息素质教育由基础到高级四个层面内容及大学生信息素质教育的构建方法和大学生信息素质教育的培养模式。     

Implementing media literacy training for social work programs at HBCUs: A literary analysis of barriers and opportunities

ABSTRACT

The image of the social work profession in the media is problematic for many reasons. Social work and its practitioners are often depicted as incompetent, ineffective, and unnecessary. Despite the necessity of the services provided to the public by social workers, public opinion of the profession remains low. To reverse the current trend, social work programs, particularly those at historically Black colleges and universities, can begin to provide media literacy training and media awareness within the curriculum to assist future social workers in stemming the tide of negative coverage and portrayals of the profession in the media. Using the media diffusion of information theory as an overview, this literary analysis provides a historical view of the profession and highlights current trends in social work practice, education, and media training.

大数据视阈下的媒介素养教育

大数据传播将信息传播与数据积累汇聚成一个动力学过程,将每一个人裹挟其中。个人在大数据传播中既承担着信息生产和传播的首要职责,也扮演着数据生产与累积的主要角色;然而数据的所有权与使用权是相分离的,个人仅拥有零散数据的所有权,大数据使用权却被网站运营者和软件供应商垄断。这不仅对信息传播造成深远影响,也为媒介素养教育带来了前所未有的挑战。大数据拓展了媒介素养教育的传统内容,挑战了媒介素养教育的既有形式,也改变了媒介素养教育的语境。大数据时代的媒介素养教育必须与时俱进,实现技术素养、数据素养与人文素养的平衡,理论与实践的创新,国际化视野与本土化执行的融合。
