论新城镇化背景下的农村人居环境发展与定位

因我国传统城镇化的盲目发展,农村人居环境＂千村一貌＂现象日益严重,＂美丽风光＂渐行渐远。文章提出坚持生态文明建设理念,推广生态住区,尊重人文地脉,应用乡土化设计;并在城乡规划一体化的大方向下＂求同存异、协调发展、保持特色＂,力求构建和谐＂宜居＂新农村人居环境,实现新城镇化发展战略目标。     

基于三点分段的一类三角样条曲线的扩展

基于文献[5]中三点分段的一次和二次三角基函数的扩展,首先给出了带参数的二次和三次三角调配函数,当λi=0时,二次和三次三角基函数分别退化为文献[5]中的一次和二次三角基函数,然后建立了一种带局部调节参数λi的分段三角样条曲线。通过调整参数λi,能够使得当参数λi越大时,分段三角样条曲线越逼近控制多边形。对于曲线的连续性也做了相关的讨论,二次最高可达G2连续,三次最高可达G4连续。最后给出了两个数值例子,分别利用文中给出的二次和三次调配函数构造了达到G1连续和G3连续的两条曲线。

《印刷工艺》课程在应用型本科艺术设计专业教学中呈现出知识更新快、科学技术前沿性强、实践能力要求高等特性,传统教材无法满足现代应用型本科艺术设计专业的教学要求,产学合作模式下"立体多维"形态教材开发,将有效提升教学质量和学生学习效果,有利于培养学生的专业技能。

中国现代包装设计与民间美术文化的重构与融合——以山东潍坊杨家埠木版年画为例

在我国,包括包装艺术设计在内的所有设计形式中,有部分设计在寻找国际化的路程中迷失了自己。殊不知,国际范儿就是站在本国传统美术肩膀上嘹望世界。在当今,曾经险些被遗忘、封存的民间美术是我国传统美术领域的一朵奇葩。将现代包装艺术设计与民间美术重构、融合,不仅可以继承、弘扬民间美术文化,创造中国特色包装,还可以让中国的艺术设计通过民族化发展道路,平缓、稳定地驶入世界艺术设计之中。     

Comparing results from different styles of cognitive interviewing: ‘verbal probing’ vs. ‘thinking aloud’

Two styles of cognitive interviewing exist, thinking aloud (TA) and verbal probing (VP), but there have been few studies undertaken which compare the two. This paper reports on such a comparison, which was undertaken in order to understand the merits and drawbacks of each approach. VP finds more problems than TA. TA appears to be better at examining respondents’ understandings of the underlying concepts behind each question; VP is better for exploring specific terms in each question. TA interviews appeared to generate more information about how respondents used information from their past experiences to select codes in closed‐ended questions. However, in terms of the eventual redrafting of the questions respondents were asked about, there was very little difference between the VP and TA interviews.     

Problem Gambling in Non-English Speaking Background Communities in Queensland,Australia: A Qualitative Exploration

This paper provides an overview of qualitative research into problem gambling among non-English speaking background (NESB) communities in Queensland, Australia. The focus for this pilot study was the Chinese, Greek and Vietnamese communities. Using qualitative methodologies, this community-based research explored the motivations for gambling, and the impacts of problem gambling upon individuals and communities. Findings indicate that problem gambling is evident in each of the communities of study, but the issue is characterised by a pervasive sense of denial. Gambling is an issue of enormous shame and stigma, not only for the problem gambler but their entire family. As a result, most problem gamblers do not seek professional help but try to resolve the problem themselves or within the family unit. Research findings indicate that service access could be increased through a range of strategies including the provision of culturally appropriate community education and gambling help services, partnerships between NESB communities, gambling help services and community workers, and the development and implementation of preventative strategies.     

Mathematician's call for interdisciplinary research effort

The article addresses the necessity of increasing the role of mathematics in the psychological intervention in problem gambling, including cognitive therapies. It also calls for interdisciplinary research with the direct contribution of mathematics. The current contributions and limitations of the role of mathematics are analysed with an eye toward the professional profiles of the researchers. An enhanced collaboration between these two disciplines is suggested and predicted.
