3101矿床成矿特征与深部找矿方向浅谈

3101地区是广西苗儿山铀矿田的重要铀成矿区,3101矿床在1966—1974年由310大队详查确定为中型矿床,2006—2008年进行矿床深部及外围普查,将该矿床提升为大型矿床。本区发育有一组近等间距分布的北西向裂隙群带,对应于主要的裂隙群带地表210Po晕圈反应明显,它们与北北东向主含矿带的复合部位正是北北东向主含矿带内矿体群的赋矿地段,走向上矿体以间距200-250m呈韵律性分段成群分布,倾向上在相近高程上见矿的几率高,矿床内有较多的矿体位于相同高程而产于不同的含矿带内,矿体及矿体集中段的走向长度均小于倾向长度,这些均与北西向裂隙带组发育有关。因此,北北东向含矿断裂带与北西向裂隙群带的交迹既是本区的找矿标志,又是找矿模式,是指导矿床深部及外围找矿方向的标志。

The impact of manufacturing and supply chain improvement initiatives: A survey comparing make-to-order and make-to-stock firms

Manufacturing firms aim at improving both internal and external processes to improve the competitive advantage. Such initiatives include lean practices as well as supplier rationalization and integration. In this paper, we analyze these improvement initiatives and their impact on business performance. In particular, we explore potential differences between make-to-order (MTO) and make-to-stock (MTS) firms. We use data from 216 Australian manufacturing firms. We find a clear difference of improvement focus between MTO and MTS firms. MTO firms exhibit a significant impact of supplier integration on business performance, but not for lean practices and supplier rationalization. The situation is completely reversed for MTS firms, since they have significant effects for internal lean practices and supplier rationalization, but not for logistics integration with supplier. The results show that the distinction between MTO and MTS firms is important when analyzing manufacturing and supply chain improvement initiatives.

Change-in-mean problem for long memory time series models with applications

Test and estimation procedures for detecting a change in the mean are proposed in infinite moving average long memory time series models. The asymptotic properties of the test statistics and the change-point estimators are investigated. The method is illustrated through the analysis of real data sets from econometrics and climatology.     

Development of interactive biological motion perception in preschoolers and its relation to social competence

The perception of interactive biological motion (BM) plays an important role in social life. Such social perception enables people to understand the underlying social intentions and social relationships in interactive actions, so that they can anticipate the behavior response in an appropriate manner. Although interaction perception has been widely explored in adults, little is known about preschoolers' developmental trajectory of interaction perception and its further impact on social development. This study explored the development of interaction perception in a dyadic BM situation and its relation to teachers' report of social competence among 3–6‐year olds (N = 119). Children were asked to watch videos of dyadic BM and decide whether two characters were interacting or not. The results suggested that the sensitivity of BM perception continues to develop during the entire preschool age period and is positively associated with children's social competence among children aged 5–6, even after controlling for age and language ability. However, for younger children aged 3–4, language ability rather than perception of social interaction positively correlated with their social competence. Our findings review the rapid development of interactive BM perception in early childhood and highlight the important role of interaction perception in preschoolers’ social development.     

Perfect Simulation for Random Sequential Adsorption of d-Dimensional Spheres with Random Radii

An efficient simulation algorithm for random sequential adsorption of spheres with radii chosen from a (prior) probability distribution is implemented. The algorithm is based on dividing the whole domain in small subcubes of different edge length. Samples obtained by this algorithm satisfy the jamming limit propertyi.e., no further sphere can be placed in the final configuration without overlapping. Samples for both discrete and continuous radii distributions are simulated and analyzed, especially jamming coverage, pair correlation functions and posterior radii distributions of the obtained sphere configurations.
