On the Asymmetric Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund Strong Law of Large Numbers for Linear Random Fields

In this article, the asymmetric Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund strong law of large numbers for linear random field under negative association is obtained. Our result generalizes a result in Gut and Studtmüller (2009 Gut , A. , Studtmüller , U. ( 2009 ) An asymmetric Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund LLN for random fields . Statist. Probab. Lett. 79 : 1016 – 1020 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]). An asymmetric Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund LLN for random fields to the linear random field by using the Beverige-Nelson decomposition.     

Some concepts of mult1variate dependence

Several types of positive dependence are shown to be equiv-alent to the concept of a distribution with a density which is TP₂ in pairs. Among these is the concept of m^?-positive depend-ence of Alam and Wallenius. Using this result, all relationships among many of the most important concepts of positive dependence are determined. Furthermore, an application of the equivalences of these types of positive dependence yields a results of Ahmed, Langberg, Leon and Proschan.     

Vector correlation for elliptical distributions

A measure of multivariate correlation between two sets of vectors is considered when the underlying joint distribution is a member of the class of elliptical distributions. Its asymptotic distribution is derived under different situations and these results are used to test hypotheses on vector correlation when the underlying joint distribution is non-normal.     

代次视角下农民工组织参与对政治参与意愿的影响研究——基于西安市1215名农民工的调查

利用2012年“西安市农村流动人口发展状况调查”数据,使用卡方检验和二分Logistic回归,在代次视角下分析农民工政治参与意愿的特征和组织参与对农民工政治参与意愿的影响.研究发现:农民工政治参与意愿具有稳定的制度性偏好,但新生代农民工非制度化参与的风险增加;组织化能够显著提升农民工的政治参与意愿,随着代次更替,作用方向不变,但程度减弱;农民工经济收入的增加,具有同时促进制度化和抑制非制度化参与倾向的作用.     

Freedom of association in the Bangladeshi garment industry: A policy schizophrenia in labour regulation

The right to freedom of association is fundamental for the establishment of labour unionism as an institution. While the Government of Bangladesh requires enabling legal provisions for unionization in its garment industry, regulation to ensure the right to freedom of association has proved ineffective in upholding labour unionism. This article highlights the need for legislation capable of drawing on the complementary skills and resources of the Government, factory owners, labour unions and global brands to secure a sustained commitment and contribution towards the socio-economic and political dimensions of labour relations in Bangladesh's ready-made garment industry.     

A new extension of the FGM copula for negative association

In this paper we introduced a single parameter, absolutely continuous and radially symmetric bivariate extension of the Farlie-Gumbel-Morgenstern (FGM) family of copulas. Specifically, this extension measures the higher negative dependencies than most FGM extensions available in literature. Closed-form formulas for distribution, quantile, density, conditional distribution, regression, Spearman's rho, Kendall's tau, and Gini's gamma are obtained. In addition, a formula for random variate generations is presented in closed-form to facilitate simulation studies. We conduct both paired and multiple comparisons with Frank, Gaussian, and Plackett copulas to investigate the performance based on Vuong's test. Furthermore, the new copula is compared with Frank, Gaussian, and Plackett copulas using both Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Cramér-von Mises type test statistics. Finally, a bivariate dataset is analyzed to compare and illustrate the flexibility of the new copula for negative dependence.     

Modelling hierarchical clustered censored data with the hierarchical Kendall copula

This article proposes a new model for right‐censored survival data with multi‐level clustering based on the hierarchical Kendall copula model of Brechmann (2014) with Archimedean clusters. This model accommodates clusters of unequal size and multiple clustering levels, without imposing any structural conditions on the parameters or on the copulas used at various levels of the hierarchy. A step‐wise estimation procedure is proposed and shown to yield consistent and asymptotically Gaussian estimates under mild regularity conditions. The model fitting is based on multiple imputation, given that the censoring rate increases with the level of the hierarchy. To check the model assumption of Archimedean dependence, a goodness‐of test is developed. The finite‐sample performance of the proposed estimators and of the goodness‐of‐fit test is investigated through simulations. 田会是中国古代农村民间的一种互助性合作组织。它至少在清末浙东地区较为普遍地存在。在祀田、义田以外,会田又是另一种新的集体土地所有制形式。其基本特征在于它是一种跨家族的村民之间的经济互助组织。
