En 2018, l'effondrement du Rana Plaza braquait le projecteur sur les conditions de travail parfois déplorables dans la confection. Si la grande distribution est depuis pointée du doigt, la responsabilité des cabinets d'audit social est rarement mentionnée. Les auteures examinent les moyens disponibles à ce stade pour repérer et sanctionner les audits négligents ou complaisants, qui taisent les atteintes aux droits des travailleurs. Elles constatent que les contrôles et les rappels à l'ordre restent limités dans les faits. Elles s'interrogent alors sur l'apport des initiatives de responsabilité sociale pour un contrôle véritable de la qualité des audits et une responsabilisation de leurs auteurs.

It is now admitted that part-time work is a signal of inequality between the sexes, in both work and family. By focusing on cleavages among women, an analysis is made of how worktime and the company’s position as a subcontractor combine so as to produce inequality among wage-earners by assigning them heterogeneous statuses and thus forcing some of them to cope with precarious working, employment and living conditions. This study of the working and employment conditions of chamber maids in France focuses on those who work part or full-time in cleaning companies under contract with other firms. Inside this rather unskilled group of women, part-time work stresses the differences produced by subcontracting and worsens the inequality between stable, full-time employees and the women subcontracted at part-time who do the same job. These cleavages set off a strike among these part-time workers. Analyzing this labor dispute has shed light on the social relations running through the firm and on invisible issues in work and employment for these women with jobs in the shadows.

An application of the Bernoulli part to local limit theorems for moving averages on stationary sequences

We consider partial sums S_n of a general class of stationary sequences of integer-valued random variables, and we provide sufficient conditions for S_n to satisfy a local limit theorem. To prove this result, we introduce a concept called the Bernoulli part. The amount of Bernoulli part in S_n determines the extent to which the density of S_n is relatively flat. If in addition S_n satisfies a global central limit theorem, the local limit theorem follows.     

Machinisme, marxisme, humanisme : Georges Friedmann avant et après-guerre

Georges Friedmann (1902-1977) is known as the founder, following WW II, of a “sociology of humanist work”. Before the war, he was a Marxist intellectual, close to the Communist Party, who admired the young Soviet Union. How this political and ideological itinerary affected his sociology of labor, has never been systematically analyzed. To do so, “machinism” (mechanization), a key concept in the first part of Friedmann’s writing, is scrutinized. This concept came not from Marx, but from Michelet’s romantic conception of history, with which Friedmann was familiar. Following the war, it was given up for the pair “natural/technical milieu”; but this shift in vocabulary did not radically alter Friedmann’s views. Questions arise about how the intellectual itinerary of the founder of French labor sociology, who was shaped by the political trauma experienced by his generation, has lastingly affected this discipline.

共鸣定理是泛函分析中重要的基础定理之一,其形式也有多种变化。在[1]—[5]中讨论了一类共鸣定理,即所谓凸泛函族的共鸣定理。由于凸分析的广泛运用性,凸性的概念有必要进一步推广。本文首先给出p-凸性的概念,p-凸集和p-凸泛函具有完全类似于凸集和凸泛函的性质,然后导出了在拓扑向量空间及赋范空间中p-凸泛函族的几个共鸣定理,推广了文[1]—[5]中的相应结果。     

On Berry-Esseen theorem for some functions of U-statistics

The rate of convergence in the central limit theorem and in the random central limit theorem for some functions of U-statistics are established. The theorems refer to the asymptotic behaviour of the sequence {g(U_n),n≥1}, where g belongs to the class of all differentiable functions g such that g′εL(δ) and U_n is a U-statistics.     

UNIX中对多种文件系统类型的支持

介绍了ＵＮＩＸ下通过虚拟文件系统接口实现多文件系统类型支持的技术，分析了ＡＩＸ操作系统中虚拟文件系统接口的实现。在此基础上对支持用户实现自己的文件系统存在的问题与困难进行了分析与研究，提出了一种较方便实现新的文件系统的方法。该方法利用了已有文件系统的现成代码，大大减少了开发工作的难度与工作量。
