现代汉语中两种表反复义的结构“X（啊）X（啊）的”与“X（啊）Y（啊）的”比较分析

现代汉语口语中的“X（啊）X（啊）的”、“X（啊）Y（啊）的”两个结构在形式上相似,表义上也较相近。文章考察了两种结构中X、Y的类别,限制以及两类结构各自的语法意义,并从充当句法成分的能力以及对否定词和代词的选择方面讨论二者间的差异,最后指出结构中的“的”字并非可有可无。     

概数格式“数＋（量）＋来＋的”及“来的”词汇化

口语性概数词＂来＂主要有四种使用格式。本文分析＂来＂的又一格式＂数＋（量）＋来＋的＂。文章描写了该格式的形式和语义特征,论证了该格式的语法化路径,认为＂来的＂在北方口语里已经在一定程度上趋于词汇化。     

论我国非婚同居规制方式的立法选择——从比较法视角

各国对非婚同居的规制方式主要有三种,即作为婚姻的规制方式、作为事实状态的规制方式和作为独立制度的规制方式。我国立法应对非婚同居作出明确规定,对其予以客观中立的规制。具体而言,对于当事人具有结婚合意且符合结婚实质要件的非婚同居,作为事实婚姻加以保护;对虽不符合事实婚姻构成要件,但具有一定稳定性的非婚同居,作为事实状态予以规制;当社会现实迫切需要时,设立专门的家庭伴侣制度。

A Partial Folk Theorem for Games with Unknown Payoff Distributions

Repeated games with unknown payoff distributions are analogous to a single decision maker's “multi‐armed bandit” problem. Each state of the world corresponds to a different payoff matrix of a stage game. When monitoring is perfect, information about the state is public, and players are sufficiently patient, the following result holds: For any function that maps each state to a payoff vector that is feasible and individually rational in that state, there is a sequential equilibrium in which players experiment to learn the realized state and achieve a payoff close to the one specified for that state.     

Belief‐Free Equilibria in Repeated Games

We introduce a class of strategies that generalizes examples constructed in two‐player games under imperfect private monitoring. A sequential equilibrium is belief‐free if, after every private history, each player's continuation strategy is optimal independently of his belief about his opponents' private histories. We provide a simple and sharp characterization of equilibrium payoffs using those strategies. While such strategies support a large set of payoffs, they are not rich enough to generate a folk theorem in most games besides the prisoner's dilemma, even when noise vanishes.     

Tail Exactness of Multivariate Saddlepoint Approximations

We consider a log-concave density f in R ^m satisfying certain weak conditions, particularly on the Hessian matrix of log f . For such a density, we prove tail exactness of the multivariate saddlepoint approximation. The proof is based on a local limit theorem for the exponential family generated by f . However, the result refers not to asymptotic behaviour under repeated sampling, but to a limiting property at the boundary of the domain of f . Our approach does not apply any complex analysis, but relies totally on convex analysis and exponential models arguments.

British Muslims and the UK government's ‘war on terror’ within: evidence of a clash of civilizations or emergent de‐civilizing processes?

In the immediate aftermath of the September 2001 attacks on America, defending civilization was quickly established at the core of the ‘war on terror’. Unintentionally or otherwise this incorporation of civilization connected with Samuel Huntington's ‘Clash of Civilizations’ thesis. Within the ‘war on terror’ the dark side of counterterrorism has become apparent through international practices like extrajudicial killing, extraordinary rendition and torture. The impact of Western governments' policies upon their indigenous Muslim populations has also been problematic but social and political analysis has been relatively limited. This paper seeks to help address the scarcity of sociological contributions. Hidden costs of the UK government's attempts to utilize violence and enhance social constraints within the nation‐state are identified. It is argued that although counterterrorism strategies are contributing to a self‐fulfilling spiral of hatred that could be considered evidence in support of the ‘Clash of Civilizations’, the thesis is unhelpful when trying to grasp the underlying processes. Instead the paper draws upon Norbert Elias's application of the concepts of ‘civilizing’ and ‘de‐civilizing’ to help improve levels of understanding about the processes and consequences of particular Muslim communities being targeted by security forces. The paper concludes with an exploration of the majority of the population's acquiescence and willingness to accept restraints upon Muslims in order to safeguard their own security.
