SOME RESAMPLING PROCEDURES UNDER SYMMETRY

This paper investigates the properties of bootstrap and related methods assuming that the underlying distribution is symmetric but otherwise unknown. In particular it studies the percentile-t, nonparametric tilting and empirical likelihood and finds that the performance of percentile-t and non-parametric tilting methods can be improved by incorporating the symmetry into the resampling procedure. However, for symmetric empirical likelihood, the Bartlett correctability no longer holds, although use of bootstrap calibration restores the good coverage properties typically associated with Bartlett correction. This surprising result shows that Bartlett correctability is a very delicate property.

文章主要从语言的准确规范性、语言的形象生动性和语言的通俗易懂性等三方面对声乐教学语言进行了具体的分析,就准确规范语言、形象生动语言、通俗语言在声乐教学中的运用,从歌唱的姿势、歌唱的发声、普通话的运用、歌唱的呼吸以及歌唱的共鸣等几方面,结合本人的学习实践与教学实践体会,作了进一步的研究和探讨,并试图在声乐教学中准确把握语言的特征,从而解决声乐教学中存在的问题。

机械产品加工的工艺过程是一个复杂的系统,工件的加工误差是许多随机因素作用的结果。应用数理统计方法对加工过程中工件的尺寸误差进行诊断分析,可以确定一批工件加工误差的总体规律,以便找出在工艺上控制误差的措施和解决问题的途径。     

Using Community Members to Collect Observational Data: Observer Training and Data Quality Assessment

ABSTRACT

This article highlights a structured approach to preparing community members for observational data collection in participatory research. Providing training related to the items that will be observed and conducting post-training assessments of observer accuracy and interrater reliability provides researchers with a measure of observer readiness to collect data. In addition, reassessing observer accuracy and interrater reliability at the end of data collection offers a measure of confidence in the data collection process. Discussion of this approach includes addressing survey items with low observer percentage agreement scores and training and evaluation strategies for intermittent and extended data collection periods.

合作学习教学模式在大学英语教学中可以有系统而持之以恒地使用,但要成功实施合作学习教学模式。评估是必不可少的一环。大学英语合作学习教学模式实施过程中的评估方式主要有四种：起点评估、形成性评估、诊断性评估、总结性评估。     

Gender Identity Disorder,the Gender Binary,and Transgender Oppression: Implications for Ethical Social Work

This article argues that social workers are ethically obligated to serve as allies of transgender and gender-nonconforming communities and, thus, should critically examine the diagnosis of gender identity disorder and the oppression inherent in pathologizing gender nonconformity. Social workers should also consider the oppression inherent in the socially constructed gender binary that is the root of the perceived psychosis in gender nonconformance and should fight against this oppression and, therefore, against that binary. This article proposes several action steps that social workers can take to advocate for the transgender and gender-nonconforming communities.
