根据给定的施肥量与产量关系的实验数据,通过必要的假设和合理性分析之后,用二次函数去拟合氮肥的作用模型,而用威布尔生长模型去拟合磷、钾肥作用模型。同时,引入修正量△Y对模型进行修正。并从实用价值角度对模型进行讨论中得到了最大产量的范围。还讨论了施肥为0时产量值不为0的原因,最后讨论了模型的优缺点。     

论杂体律诗的进退格

进退格是晚唐郑谷等人为近体诗制定的一种用韵格式。其用韵规则是选择不可通押的邻韵部的字押韵。不能将“东”“冬”、“寒”“删”等视作相通的韵部。正因为用相邻而不相通的韵部的字押韵,才构成了杂体律诗中的进退格。进退格不能用于绝句。该格的产生有先期基础。李贺是最早的作者。

Computation of the percentage points and the power for the two-sided Kolmogorov-Smirnov one sample test

Two recursive schemes are presented for the calculation of the probabilityP(g(x)≤S _n (x)≤h(x) for allx∈®), whereS _n is the empirical distribution function of a sample from a continuous distribution andh, g are continuous and isotone functions. The results are specialized for the calculation of the distribution and the corresponding percentage points of the test statistic of the two-sided Kolmogorov-Smirnov one sample test. The schemes allow the calculation of the power of the test too. Finally an extensive tabulation of percentage points for the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is given.

Reforming against all odds: Multi‐pillar pension systems in the Czech Republic and Romania

Attempts to replace pay‐as‐you‐go pension schemes with private funded systems came to a halt in Central and Eastern Europe after 2005. However, more recently, the region has witnessed two belated reformers: the Czech Republic and Romania. Both countries decided to partially privatize pensions despite the rising tide of evidence concerning the challenges associated with the policy. We argue that while part of the domestic political elite remained supportive of private funded pensions, the difficulties experienced by earlier reformers and reduced support from International Financial Institutions led to the adoption of small funded pension pillars. Such cautious attempts at privatization might become more common in the future as large reforms have proven politically unsustainable.     

Local influence in ridge semiparametric models

ABSTRACT

Ridge penalized least-squares estimators has been suggested as an alternative to the minimum penalized sum of squares estimates in the presence of collinearity among the explanatory variables in semiparametric regression models (SPRMs). This paper studies the local influence of minor perturbations on the ridge estimates in the SPRM. The diagnostics under the perturbation of ridge penalized sum of squares, response variable, explanatory variables and ridge parameter are considered. Some local influence diagnostics are given. A Monte Carlo simulation study and a real example are used to illustrate the proposed perturbations.     

A disarmingly simple idea? Practical bottlenecks in the implementation of a universal basic income

This article considers the implementation of a universal basic income, a neglected area in basic income research. We identify and examine three important practical bottlenecks that may prevent a basic income scheme from attaining the universal reach desired and proclaimed by its advocates: i) maintaining a population‐wide cadaster of eligible claimants ensuring full takeup; ii) instituting robust modalities of payment that reach all intended beneficiaries; and iii) designing an effective oversight mechanism in a policy context that actively opposes client monitoring. We argue that the implementation of universal basic income faces unique challenges that its proponents must consider carefully.
