"9·11"事件后美国安全战略的调整及对中美关系的影响

"9·11"事件的发生使美国受到强烈震撼,美国本土的安全受到严重挑战.在恐怖主义上升为头号威胁的情况下,美国从自身的战略利益出发,开始重新考虑自己的安全战略.新<四年防务评估报告>的出台,表明美国已经开始对其安全战略和对外政策作重大调整.与此相适应,美国外交政策上的单边主义色彩有所减弱,开始加强与国际社会的交流与合作.这不仅将对国际关系产生一定积极影响,标志着国际关系开始进入一个新的阶段,而且也为中美关系的改善提供了契机.     

The Poisson-exponential model for recurrent event data: an application to bowel motility data

This paper presents a new parametric model for recurrent events, in which the time of each recurrence is associated to one or multiple latent causes and no information is provided about the responsible cause for the event. This model is characterized by a rate function and it is based on the Poisson-exponential distribution, namely the distribution of the maximum among a random number (truncated Poisson distributed) of exponential times. The time of each recurrence is then given by the maximum lifetime value among all latent causes. Inference is based on a maximum likelihood approach. A simulation study is performed in order to observe the frequentist properties of the estimation procedure for small and moderate sample sizes. We also investigated likelihood-based tests procedures. A real example from a gastroenterology study concerning small bowel motility during fasting state is used to illustrate the methodology. Finally, we apply the proposed model to a real data set and compare it with the classical Homogeneous Poisson model, which is a particular case.

Graphical displays for clarifying how allocation ratio affects total sample size for the two sample logrank test

For time‐to‐event data, the power of the two sample logrank test for the comparison of two treatment groups can be greatly influenced by the ratio of the number of patients in each of the treatment groups. Despite the possible loss of power, unequal allocations may be of interest due to a need to collect more data on one of the groups or to considerations related to the acceptability of the treatments to patients. Investigators pursuing such designs may be interested in the cost of the unbalanced design relative to a balanced design with respect to the total number of patients required for the study. We present graphical displays to illustrate the sample size adjustment factor, or ratio of the sample size required by an unequal allocation compared to the sample size required by a balanced allocation, for various survival rates, treatment hazards ratios, and sample size allocation ratios. These graphical displays conveniently summarize information in the literature and provide a useful tool for planning sample sizes for the two sample logrank test. 伴随着网络的普及,中国网络流行语层出不穷,逐渐从网络渗透到传统媒体和社会生活中,成为公众用语。从网络流行语的概念和其与普通网络语言的区分出发,指出事件关联性是促进网络语言流行化的重要因素,影响网络流行语产生的心理因素包括个体心理因素和群体心理因素两个部分,网络流行语具有社会性、娱乐性、不规范性这三个语言特色。     

英汉运动事件表达的类联接对比及应用

基于自建的安徒生童话集平行语料库,通过类联接的检索,对比分析了英汉运动事件框架的动作、路径和背景表达的差异,及其对英汉动作场景叙述风格的影响。提出在英语中由于丰富的路径表达,动作场景叙述整体动中见静、直观可感;而汉语中由于方向动词的大量使用,动作场景叙述整体动态跳跃、朦胧抽象。在翻译过程中,译者要注意也道的运动事件框架表达,体现译文的叙述风格。     

CASE-DDB的设计和不确定性问题的解决

分布式程序执行行为的不确定性导致其调试工作复杂化，以至于无法用传统的调试工具进行调试。ＣＡＳＥ－ＤＤＢ是一种基于事件的调试工具，用于调试用分布式Ｃ＋＋语言编写的分布式应用程序。文中介绍了ＣＡＳＥ－ＤＤＢ的设计思想和基本结构，提出了一种调试执行行为不确定的分布式应用程序的方法
