“综合创新”——张岱年先生的治学之道

张岱年先生从事教学、研究 70年 ,在学术上有两大成果 :(一 )在哲学上 ,为中国的传统哲学的更新、转型探索出了一条新路 ;并建立了一个以辩证唯物论为基础、博采中西哲学之长的新哲学体系。其主要特征是将辩证唯物论与中国传统哲学的“气一元论”、“两一”等学说融于一体。在辩证唯物论中国化这个重大理论课题上作出了贡献。(二 )在文化上 ,倡导“文化综合创新论”为中国文化的发展探索出一个新的模式 ;并为之设计出一幅宏伟蓝图。这对当前建设有中国特色的社会主义新文化 ,具有理论的和现实的意义。

Environmental and life sciences: gene-environment networks optimization,games and control a survey on recent achievements

Abstract

A centrally important research area of computational biology, biotechnology and life sciences at all is devoted to modelling, prediction and dynamics of gene-expression patterns. However, this enterprise cannot be investigated in a satisfying way without the role of the environment, including the societies, members of the international community of nations. For a representation of the past, present and predicted future states, we also acknowledge the existence of uncertainties in modern technology and decision making, and the negotiations in solving societal problems and in international collaboration. We survey and closer explain recent advances in understanding the mathematical foundations and interdisciplinary implications of the newly introduced gene-environment networks; the main basis of our article is (Weber, Alparslan-Gk and Syler [to appear]). We integrate the important theme of environmental protection by joint international projects into the context of networks and their dynamics. As an example of environmental protection, we study CO₂ emissions, their implications for global warming by green-house effect, the reduction of both and the joint implementation requested for this purpose by Kyoto protocol. Given data from DNA microarray experiments and environmental records, we extract nonlinear ordinary differential equations which contain parameters that have to be determined. This is done by modern approximation and optimization. After this, time-discretized dynamical systems are studied by a combinatorial algorithm which detects the region of parametric stability. Finally, we analyze the landscape of gene-environment networks. Its structure and stability have a very important meaning for the understanding of life and social system and of the conductibility of common enterprises, for example, in the environmental sector. To represent the interactions between the project participants, we imply modern collaborative game theory, where the players may be individuals or companies or, in particular, nations. This pioneering work is practically motivated and theoretically elaborated; it is devoted to support improvements in the living conditions of people all over the world, especially, in health care, medicine, education, environmental protection and public awareness. The authors invite the interested readers to future research.     

A Sieve model for extreme values

From the class of extreme value distributions, we focus on the set of heavy-tailed distributions which produce low-frequency, high-cost events. The regular Pareto distribution is the basic model of choice, being the simplest heavy-tailed distribution. Real data suggest that modifications of the Pareto distribution may be a better fit; an alternative model is the truncated Pareto distribution (TPD). For further study, this paper proposed a TPD Sieve class of distributions. The properties and estimation on the Sieve class are also discussed. We fit the models to the largest Black Sea bass caught in Buzzard's Bay, MA, USA and the costliest Atlantic hurricanes from 1900 to 2005. Using measures of model adequacy, the TPD Sieve model is generally found to be the best-fitting model.

Guided Censored Regression

Parametrically guided non‐parametric regression is an appealing method that can reduce the bias of a non‐parametric regression function estimator without increasing the variance. In this paper, we adapt this method to the censored data case using an unbiased transformation of the data and a local linear fit. The asymptotic properties of the proposed estimator are established, and its performance is evaluated via finite sample simulations.

对2004年国家中医药管理局遴选出的215名优秀中医临床人才和在全国范围内随机柚取的300名中医临床人才的从医经历及其素质状况进行调查.统计结果显示,中医临床人才的成才途径主要有六种形式,分别是跟师学习-从事临床实践至今、本专科院校教育-从事临床实践-跟师学习-从事临床实践至今、本专科院校教育-跟师学习-从事临床实践至今、本专科院校教育-从事临床实践-攻读硕士或博士-从事临床实践至今、学医至硕士或博士学历-从事临床实践至今、本专科院校教育-跟师学习-从事临床实践-攻读硕士或博士-从事临床实践至今.运用灰色模糊综合评价的方法对不同类型成才途径的培养效果进行了评价,得知不同的中医临床人才成才途径培养效果存在着显著差异.     

论属性决策系统及其在中小企业业绩评价中的应用

根据属性集和属性测度理论,属性综合决策系统可分为三个子系统:第一个为单指标性能函数分析子系统,第二个为多指标综合性能函数分析子系统;第三个为识别分析子系统.将属性测度决策系统应用于中小企业业绩评价,并经实例分析证明该系统是合理、实用和有效的.
